I just replaced mine in my 2017. Thanks for the video. It took me 5 minutes because I didn't need to even touch the bulbs. I've never done something like this before either. Also, my assembly, bulbs and all only cost $120 after taxes and shipping at parts geek for my left side.
I have a question if anyone knows this by chance. I have a 2015 Hyundai Sonata SE with the stock halogen tail lights. And I noticed that these LED’s taillights are for the sport / limited models . If I ordered these led’s would it work for my 2015 Hyundai Sonata SE ? Or would it not work? And if it works would I need to do any electrical / re wiring . Not sure if it would be plug in play for the SE model
Connectors are completely different, not sure if cars are prewired for both types, didn't not see another connector in there but maybe it was attached some hidden place. Don't know if it would require some programming. May ask forums about this swap www.hyundai-forums.com/forums/lf-2015-2019-sonata-i45.306/
@@Peppermint1 okay thank you . I actually work with a person that does mechanic on the side , he’s certified too and he did mention that yes the plugs/connectors are different. For it to work he said that taking the connectors off and replacing them with the SE stock light plug/connector or directly just wiring the wires accordingly with heat shrink etc for it to work accordingly. Appreciate the response ! I just wasn’t too sure before buying them.
