Now watch out for children. There were over 1.5 million people in this legendary concert. Why was there so much energy in all the bands? The Cold War was over, the Soviet Union, the armament of the two superpowers, the fear of a nuclear war was finally history and mankind was full of hope. (We all know how it looks in the world again today ...) At this concert everyone had the feeling that everything had to be taken out at once. Perhaps that will help some young people to understand the historical significance of this concert.

This guy???? This guy is the greatest metal guitarist EVER!!!!! Darrell "Dimebag" Abbott basically taught himself guitar over one summer locked in his bedroom playing and practicing day and night. And, how can you be a metal band and have no knowledge of Pantera??? Thst blows my mind. Phil Anselmo (lead singer) has a 5 octave range. He can sing gravelly and he can sing opera. My favorite all time metal band. Their sound was just so different. So f-ing heavy but with a southern, bluesy groove to it. You GOTTA react to Mouth For War, Cowboys From Hell, Revolution is My Name, Fucking Hostile, Cemetery Gates, etc.
Also, if you like Pantera, check out Corrosion of Conformity, the songs, Long Whip Big America, Clean My Wounds, Albatross, Wiseblood, Seven Days, etc.

You may be able to play guitar and drums AS good, but never better. Thank you for paying homage to rock roots. I was 19 when this was the shit and I dressed like them, had hair like them and moshed like a mofo! If you're listening to the right stuff, you can hear the "hand offs" from band to band through the decades! Keep Rock Alive!! 🤘🏽🖤🔥🙌🏼 ℁
