That's right, videos sharing channels help me know more. I listen to many videos from the channel. I have a channel with the same topic but only for my country Vietnam.
As this video aptly suggests, exploring our shadows and identifying with archetypes isn't just about getting to know ourselves better; it's about embarking on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Where can we find the courage to face our shadows, discover our archetypes, and refine our intuition? For anyone feeling a bit lost or out of touch with themselves, this video serves as both a guide and a call to find ourselves. Thank you.
I feel bad for this channel…they used to be huge but have dropped off in viewers lately…shame tho because I love their format and way they present philosophy 😌 Staying with you guys always!!
Ads on YT are getting out of control. I wonder if the creator makes any money from all of us pressing the "skip" button over and over. I bet this is how it works: advertiser and YT make money regardless; creator gets nothing if "skip" button pressed. Sorry creator, just not going to sit through all the ads.
John Bradshaw - Inner child work is a great companion to shadow work. Pete Walker - Surviving CPTSD to Thriving also mentions inner child and inner critic work.
Wow, thanks for sharing this insightful content on listening to our gut feelings! The exploration of Carl Jung's philosophy is fascinating, especially the emphasis on understanding our unconscious and archetypes. Integrating self-reflection, dream analysis, and embracing our shadow seems like a transformative journey towards self-awareness and better decision-making. Truly eye-opening stuff!
I’ve been hearing a lot about about Carl Jung lately and was really looking forward to hearing more about his philosophy. Ngl, I’m a little disappointed to find that so much of it is based on the regressive notion of Archetypes
Not only was Jung brilliant, he was an expert on decoding mythology from around the world and bringing it to light in a cohesive and meaningful way. He knew that human history was imbued with archetypes, and was masterful in his approach towards them.
I think gut feelings = intuitions. Archetypes are part of the personality that can influence intuitions. Did you identify an archetype? If you watch it again, it might make more sense then.
Google's best definition of an archetype is a common Is theme or motif in art, literature, or mythology, But that Doesn't do it justice. It is really common themes or motifs that are universal to human nature.

Intuition exposes an unspoken reality that we may have never otherwise noticed if we relied on the rules we’ve been taught
