    Thanks for those encouraging words. Watching your process is so satisfying, really I mean it. What kind of gold paint did you use? And also, thanks for sharing your story. I take my hat off - it’s an incredible learning experience and I think a mental grownup too. Seriously, to show up in the internet is very brave. All the best for you, Anita 🎉🍀

      Thank you so much Mai Lan for the kind words! I’m glad you find my process satisfying to watch. The gold paint I used is coliro pearl colours Moon Gold. Sharing my story has been quite the journey, and I appreciate your support. Showing up on the internet does take some bravery, but messages like yours make it all worthwhile. All the best to you too, and thank you again! 🎉🍀

    I've been watching your channel from the very beginning and have seen every video. Your style is so creative; I absolutely love it! I really like how you left so much of this piece relatively blank; I dont think I ever would have thought of doing that, and it looks so good! I also love your inspirational talks and when tell us all about an individual color. It's all so fun! Keep it coming!

      Thank you so much for being such a dedicated viewer and for sticking with the channel from the very beginning! I’m so glad to hear that you enjoy the creative choices I make, like leaving parts of a piece blank-sometimes less really is more. It’s great to know that the inspirational talks and color explorations resonate with you as well. Your support and enthusiasm truly keep me motivated to keep creating and sharing. I’ll definitely keep it coming-thanks for being a part of this journey!

    Excellent video! I loved it! Nice art piece. Get it framed and hang it up. It matches the room. Hey, artist Sophie McPike calls background color like yours [blobination]. That’s a super cool word. 💜💜💜

      Thank you so much! And wow, “blobination” is such a fun word! I hadn’t heard that before, but it definitely fits the vibe of the background color. Thanks for sharing that with me!

    Fantastic! The colors are great! I'm curious, how many days does a piece this size take you and also, do you sell them? Thanks for sharing your processes and pieces of wonderful art with us! ❤💙

    • @anitawinterz
      @anitawinterz  2 дня назад

      Thank you so much! ☺️ I’m so glad you enjoyed the colors and the process. A piece this size (A3) can take anywhere from a day to several weeks to complete, it really depends on how much time I spend adding layers and details… 🙈 If I remember correctly, this particular piece took me about 4-5 days to finish. It’s always such an intuitive process and sometimes I keep going until it feels just right. I truly appreciate your interest and support! Xx

      Oh sorry it’s not A3, this one was massive 🤪 it’s A2 size, yes it took me at least a week 🙈

    Brilliant! Your work is wonderfully diverse and fun and your advise is spot on! I'm retired now with plenty of time to put into
    my art but could have used this guidance back when I too was juggling career and kids. I am a firm believer that art can, in some cases, do as much if not more for us than pricey medications with their worrisome side effects. Watching this video was a real treat and is well appreciated!💖

      Thank you so much! I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the video and found the advice helpful. It's wonderful that you now have the time to dive into your art fully. I completely agree-art has such a powerful impact on our well-being. Your kind words mean a lot to me. Keep creating and enjoying your artistic journey! 💖

    Thank you, Anita! Your words and art really resonate with me! Photography has been my avocation since 2013, and I’ve always enjoyed being creative. I was discouraged from pursuing a career in art while in high school, so art went on the back burner for a long time. I picked it up again in 2021 after losing my Mom. It has been an effective source of therapy for me since then. Now, I’m coming to love art for its own sake. I have a lot to learn, so I really enjoy channels like yours that encourage creativity in “untrained” artists. In a couple of years I hope to retire from teaching and have more time for my art, even though I’m really good at carving out time in my busy schedule already. Maybe I could also give art lessons to kids! Who knows? Thanks again! All the best to you! ❤🙂

      Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. I’m deeply touched to hear how art has become such a meaningful part of your life, especially as a source of healing and self-expression. It’s never too late to reignite that creative spark, and it’s wonderful that you’ve found joy in art for its own sake.
      I truly believe that creativity doesn’t require formal training-it’s about expressing yourself and finding fulfillment in the process. It’s inspiring to hear that you’re already carving out time for art despite your busy schedule, and I have no doubt that you’ll continue to grow as an artist.
      The idea of giving art lessons to kids sounds amazing! You have so much to offer, especially with your experience and passion for creativity. Wishing you all the best on your artistic journey and in your future plans. Thank you for being part of this community!

    Hi. Great piece. Would you do this on canvas as well? Thanks. Donna

    • @anitawinterz
      @anitawinterz  2 дня назад

      Hi Donna, thank you so much! Canvas is definitely possible, but it can be a bit tricky. To create a similar effect you’d need to use acrylic paint for the background and make it very runny to get those flowing, organic patterns. It can get a bit messy though, which is why I personally prefer using watercolours with acrylic paint markers on paper. it’s less messy and I can come back to it anytime without worrying about drying times. That said I absolutely encourage you to try it on canvas! It’s such a fun and rewarding experience! I’d love to hear how it turns out if you give it a go! Xx
