    Hi. Great piece. Would you do this on canvas as well? Thanks. Donna

    • @anitawinterz
      @anitawinterz 2 дня назад

      Hi Donna, thank you so much! Canvas is definitely possible, but it can be a bit tricky. To create a similar effect you’d need to use acrylic paint for the background and make it very runny to get those flowing, organic patterns. It can get a bit messy though, which is why I personally prefer using watercolours with acrylic paint markers on paper. it’s less messy and I can come back to it anytime without worrying about drying times. That said I absolutely encourage you to try it on canvas! It’s such a fun and rewarding experience! I’d love to hear how it turns out if you give it a go! Xx

      @anitawinterz 2 дня назад

      Thank you so much! ☺️ I’m so glad you enjoyed the colors and the process. A piece this size (A3) can take anywhere from a day to several weeks to complete, it really depends on how much time I spend adding layers and details… 🙈 If I remember correctly, this particular piece took me about 4-5 days to finish. It’s always such an intuitive process and sometimes I keep going until it feels just right. I truly appreciate your interest and support! Xx

    Getting great vibes from this painting. 😍😍👏🌈🥰. From what I've learnt about emotional meanings behind lines, shapes and colours when it comes to art, circles represent community; teal calmness/serenity and the wavy lines can represent femininity. 💜

    Viewers should watch your videos because they like you and your style not because they want to change you or your style. It was probably an honestly innocent comment, but random comments like that just prove how completely self centered the world is. Why ask you to change when they can turn their volume off. Stay true to yourself. You do such great work either way.

      I totally get what you mean about covering things up, it’s always a bit nerve-wracking, but it’s all part of the process for me 😅 intuitive art is so forgiving. Those moments of covering things up often lead to unexpected layers and depth that make the piece even more special. It’s all about trusting the process and letting it evolve naturally even when it feels a bit risky 🙈I really appreciate your support and encouragement, it means so much to me! Xx

    I love your art and cool to see the process! This is the first I've come across one of your videos, but I will say I feel this is a good balance of talking vs doing-the-thing unless it's specifically talking about the process/instructional etc I feel like less is more with talking/voice over. That being said, there are some artists doing very well on YT who talk a lot about their art and themselves. So, like others say, ultimately it's up to you on how you want to do your videos!

    I love to water color or acylic ink and then doodle on it. Its relaxing, for the most part. But lately i feel frustrated and like i have a block. I can never make it look as beautiful as others! I think im "running out" of doodle ideas which is holding me back so much!

    • @anitawinterz
      @anitawinterz 2 дня назад

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts ❤️ it's so relatable and I completely understand how you’re feeling🥺remember that your art is unique to YOU and comparing it to others can steal the joy of creating. It’s easier said than done, I know, but try to focus on the relaxation and expression rather than the outcome. When it comes to feeling blocked or running out of doodle ideas, i personally go on Pinterest and look out for some painting pottery or some nature pictures. Or get inspired by playing with shapes without overthinking. Sometimes taking the pressure off and allowing yourself to doodle aimlessly can spark new ideas 🌟 Blocks happen to all of us and they’re a natural part of the creative process. You’ve got this! your creativity will flow again! 😘
