Hi, Anita! I was wondering why I hadn’t seen a YT video from you, and then noticed I hadn’t watched this last full-length video. I sure did enjoy it. I asked my husband if he ever doodles. Nope! He brought up some of the very roadblocks you mentioned. It made me sad. I’m currently doodling with thread on fabric to make a page for a cloth book. It’s fun! I’m inspired by you thanks! [PS: I don’t watch shorts. They’re too dang short!😁]
Hello Mara! Sorry I respond so late this comment has slipped away from me))) Thank you so much for your kind words and for enjoying the video! I'm always thrilled to hear that you're finding inspiration in my content. It's a shame your husband faces some roadblocks, but creativity takes many forms, and I'm sure he has his own unique talents. Doodling with thread on fabric for a cloth book sounds like a delightful and creative endeavor! Keep nurturing your artistic spirit! And no worries about the shorts - everyone has their preferences! I appreciate your support, whether it's through shorts or full-length videos ❤
You don’t have idea how much I’ve admired your content, your art in TikTok, and lucky me I found here too! Also, today I realized you are “awake” like me, we are on the same page! Please continue inspire us with your lifting art and words! 🙌🙌
Hello Lilian! I'm deeply grateful for your admiration and for recognizing our shared perspective of being "awake." It's wonderful to know that we both appreciate a heightened awareness and consciousness. This connection inspires me even more to create art and share meaningful words!! Thank you so much ❤
I'm delighted to hear that you loved the tips I shared and found them inspiring. It's wonderful to know that you resonated with my style and even took the time to write down some quotes. I feel honored! Thank you so much!!!It's always a joy to connect with like-minded people who appreciate and find value in the things I share )))
Beautiful. Have been wondering what kind of inks you use. I tried using watercolors, but some of the pens don't work well over it. Thanks for a wonderful and inspiring video 😊
I am blown away by this video. Your voice is so calming and even though the video is speeded up it still comes across as sheer peacefulness. Thank you for sharing ☺️ ❤️
Thank you so much for your message! I appreciate your kind words and the time you took to share your feedback. It's always a pleasure to be able to share something that resonates with others❤️❤️❤️
Pretty 💕. Thank you for sharing. I have cc turned off. Wondering how to turn off the captions at the bottom of the screen at the beginning half of the video? From your experience what type of paper works well with inks? Do you use watercolour paper for inks? CP or HP.
The dialogue cations are a bit distracting to watching you create as they covered the part you were working on. The 8 tips were ok as they were only briefly on the screen. Just my opinion. Thank you for considering 🙏💐💕
I personally use The Langton Hot Pressed because it’s smoother and makes it easier to add intricate details with fine nib pens later on. Smooth texture allows for sharp, crisp lines. Also because of its smoothness, colors tend to dry quite uniformly giving it a clean, polished finish.
@anitawinterz-- Personally, I like the Closed Captions. I usually turn them on myself if you don't put them in because, as a night-owl, I watch your videos under the covers in bed at night while my husband sleeps.
I’m not a professional artist and doing it for fun and my own mental clarity so the inks I’m using are just the ones I find on Amazon. I’m sure other market platforms have it too. Just look for calligraphy ink colourful with gold dust - that’s what I do. Hope it helps!
Hi Anita. What’s the best white marker you’ve come across for painting over another colour? I’ve tried about 6 now including posca and uniball and the underlying colour always bleeds through and the white doesn’t stay white. Any suggestions?
Hi Judy! Thank you for reaching out! I have had the same problem for a while until I worked out a simple hack… if I need to draw a white line over the colours I already put in I first use a black POSCA pen, let it dry (if not dried properly it will mix and become grey) and then I use white over it. You might need two layers of white to have a good coverage. Try it, let me know if it works for you. Instead of white you can use any other colour if needed.
Just gorgeous 🥰👍
I'm so glad that I found you on Instagram and now here. Love you and your intuitive artwork!

Unfortunately you can’t. Would it be better without captions or with more neutral ones (less visible)?

Love your work are they acrilyc inks.?
Thank you so much ❤️ no I I’m using calligraphy/drawing inks with gold powder, they are watercolour like
can you explain what kind of ink to look for ?

@@anitawinterz Thanks Anita! I’ll give that a go and let you know. Appreciate your time and sharing your hack!!. 🤞🏻💐🙏💕
Many thanks Anita!! That did the trick 🙌. All of my white markers performed beautifully on a black background. Yay!! Thanks again 💐💕
