Such a big help. Thanks dude. Just from watching your two recent videos I went from not being able to heal 10s this week to healing 12s. Doesn’t sound like much but other healers know how hard this week has been
I'm benching my mw for the time being as I don't feel confident enough to do high content with it sadly, but I must say I do love your content and guides and the fact that you stick to your class and spec despite all the bad rep it's been getting lately. You make it look so easy. ❤
It's not just you. You have to play perfect and other classes like druid and evoker just feel so much better tuned. Not saying I'm the best mw but felt like until 10s it was easy. After 10s the dmg on some of the bosses just do so much dmg I couldn't keep up. At 270 the evoker is able to do 15s already.
already swapped my mw for a resto druid, its so much better , was casually doing 85k hps on raging tempest with everyone jumping on full hp all the time on a +16, its crazy how dumb and how much effort mw requires lmao, mw feels so bad on tyrannical bosses
I'm glad I wasn't crazy about Sha of Doubt feeling like a horrific oversight. Thankfully my friends play both Shadow and Warlock so I got saved but the comms definitely lit up when running it this week. Great video as always Meg!
Other than warlock and sp having classes that can self dispel is also very useful, so other monks with difuse magic, rogues with cloak and to a lesser extend long cooldowns like bubble or ice block as well as probably a few I missed, not sure if dh's can dispel in pve or if it's a pvp talent and no idea about evokers. Of course this does require some cordination but rotating those self dispels and otherwise just using big defensives can work. As a monk healer you can of course also difuse yourself and got revival as a 1 time(or 2 maybe on really high keys) dispel when it goes on bad targets like hunter or warrior.
Thank you for your content. as a mainly ranged healer that absolutely fell in love with the fistweaver playstyle i appreciate your guides and tips in higher keys.
I am running a soothing Mist build. No problems with bursting and grevious. Damage is like 7k ps lower. But it is lot of fun. 60k vivify crits. Statue + unison makes like 10% of my healing passively. With lifecycles and clouding focus no mana problems at all. Give it a try. Feeling sad, nobody talks about the build. Got behind over the holidays, but 15s are definitely timeable with 390 gear. No rng factor like atom and a lot of burst cleave. Thx for your videos Meg!

Awesome vid Meg! I’ve been a bit hesitant to journey into keys this week, but this guide has made me feel a bit braver heading into this week and the coming weeks! Keen for the walkthrough vids to come 💜
For Strife + Peril, the healing throughput requirement went way down when we started getting the bosses to 10 stacks each, the total casts go way down and then the healing requirement is much lower. Also this video rocked!
My wife was normally an ancient teaching, invoker and max out stomp, she had issue this expansion and this week after first few days struggle she went rangey picking up tear of morning and clouded focus plus mana tea and teaching of monastery and she’s doing comfortably for her usual standard. Not high key but about +12 with pugs. She did suffer when dps are low for certain boss fights such as the tempest in nokhud
Surprised to not see mentioned Diffuse Magic and revival on the sha of doubt since I feel monk is one of the best healers for that boss. You can usually deal with both dispells 3 times (Diffuse yourself+dispell some one the fist time you get targeted and usually you Will get your CD Up, then revival in a messy round when. That with a little help from tour party deffensives makes you a great healer for that boss)
You can see both of those being used to dispel, and sure they're great but Diffuse being a 1.5 min CD you'll get about 2 uses out of it if you're lucky and get targeted early, Revival you'll get 1 use. The best way to deal with M+ is to come up with consistent strategies that will not rely on RNG of hoping certain people get the debuff early etc.
A nice little one for the final boss of RLP is that the wings always go in a cardinal direction and move CCW - so if you're with a coordinated group you can plan to drop the pools in a way that they always just get blown out of the arena
Hello, love your videos and guides, i am looking to main mw monk, i just love the playstyle ❤ 🐉 Do you have a list of bis gear so i know what to look after? I can see that Mote of sanctification is an important trinket.
very nice, those are spicy bosses and manageable thanks to your advice. Any tips for last boss CoS on 16/17+ ? Unless you have bonkers dps usings their defs every wave Slicing Maels I simply can't keep up that super fast incoming dmg and grivious ticking on top of it. Same situation on Hpal felt like a piece of cake :s
that mastery trinket from halls of valor is nothing to scoff at... i highly suggest getting one. its pretty much an additional CD every 1.5 sec. obviously its not an ideal trinket but on heavey dmg weeks and can be a huge life saver.
Thank for these amazing advices :p The only boss who isn't in this list whom i'm in big trouble is the last boss of Court of Stars. As I can't stay close to melee without taking a huge amount af dammage I can't use ChiJi or Ancient Teaching for the maelstrom phase On the other side, Strife and Peril are, in my opinion, a pretty easy boss for MW Monk beacause we can stay melee all the time and use or usual healing rotation. The hps is surprisingly huge but it's very lean.

Good timing on this video, been having issues with some of these bosses. With the issues I was having I leveled up the druid I used to main... kinda pissed me off to be honest, I love the MW play style but to see all the new tools and cooldowns resto druids have in addition to the tools they have traditionally had was a real shock. It feels as though you must play MW flawlessly with very high skill just to be equal to an low-to-average druid player who is drunk, in my experience, which is very dispiriting. Anyway, did you see the 10.0.5 talent changes? I tried them a bit on the PTR, couldn't play at 70 when I tried it so couldn't try a full talent setup but overall I don't see the changes being very impactful, maybe you have a different take? Sad, MW has so many cool abilities, tier set bonuses, and legendary effects to draw from past expansions but it feels like we ended up with pretty lame stuff mostly from SL. You seem to try and keep things positive and focus on the tools we currently have and how to use them in your videos, which I respect, but as one of the only content creators I know of pushing high content as MW I would be super interested in a video where you speculate on some ways to improve the class, maybe taking a look at some of those aforementioned past expansion legendary/tier/artifact abilities and discuss those. Who knows, blizz probably watches your content and maybe they would take some pointers - which they seem to desperately need imo. Thanks again for the video! I took some notes and will try out some of your pointers as well as seek out the trinket from HoV you mentioned.
The Revival changes/new talents are very promising and in terms of things I'd change for the class would honestly just be a % buff to Vivify or % buff to Vivify cleave, they're pretty weak w our new health pools
hello, was wondering whats the weakauras you use can you share a link mostly the boss cooldowns and the circles underneath you indicating where you are. thank you love your videos

I'm biting the bullet and leveling my resto druid. I've never been one for the flavor of the month, not that druids have ever been bad, but it just can't be helped it seems. I feel like I'm already hitting a wall and going uphill fighting the extreme damage that not playing an evoker or druid at this point is just silly. I feel like I need all of the help that I can get if that makes sense. I've never been fully against healers DPSing and keys. I'm not going to sit here and say that I just stood there and did nothing I tried when it was needed. But I was always in the camp that I wanted healers to actually heal. Well I guess I got my wish lol, but I feel like blizzard swung way too hard in the other direction
I tried a 19 Sha without a WL and it was straight impossible. I could heal it. But I went oom at 40% eventually even with mama combat potion. We then got another 19, took a warlock and it was comparatively free (still untimed but zero issues on the Sha boss)
Rolled mistweaver for this expansion because it's really fun to play. Unfortunately already considering rerolling as I'm struggling to heal anything past a 16 or 17. Demoralising to see mplus creation and see that mw monk doing 3-4 key levels below other healers. Don't want to hold my group back for pushing keys
Hopefully you see this, but I'd love to hear your input on the tier sets and how they will be with the current skills and builds available for MW! Think 2 set is good and all we need or will 4 set be the one and be the game changer??? I must know lol!

Ruby life pools first boss I defenately get carried by the fact that I can easily aoe heal with the adds up :D , last boss in there I struggle the most if we have a ranged comp and everyone is miles away.
