Just picked up monk to try to main a different healer for this expansion and your guides have been amazing. Still trying to work out my flow in dungeons but your guides have helped a ton with my understanding of how the class operates.
Dude, thank you so much for this guide. Fist weaver monk was never this complicated in shadowlands. I feel like mistweaver is super good at topping off and just not letting people dip low. Ancient Teachings randomness hasn't really been an issue considering we get so much out of it now with BoK cleave, if someone needs healing and the chance that AT has to miss them results in them dying, Vivify should have been used instead. AT isn't triage healing but it's maintenance healing. High mana usage is something we'll see later on in M+ but in raid it has been an incredible improvement from SL, and generally in M+ from beta it has not been an issue. We've become incredibly mana efficient with access to both Spirit of the Crane and Mana Tea
@@Megasett I was mainly thinking about Tyranical M+ weeks with one enemy. Those are my biggest weakness. I wish that AT was more than just maintenance healing because on those weeks i will have to drop some melee talents

Great content as always Meg! Quick question: you mentioned in your Chi-Ji video that both Jade Bond and gift of the celestial can be used. When should one be prioritized over the other?
Hey! It usually depends on the dungeon, route, boss timers etc. for example the last boss of TJS works great with Gift because you'll have a celestial on every ad phase, but for the rest of the dungeon I prefer JB due to the high amounts of group-wide damage from trash. Luckily for that dungeon you can swap easily since it's small and the entrance is close to the last boss. Typically I'll make the decision on what the hardest thing in the dungeon is and go based off of that.
We never used RJW in keys and we are not going to be using it in raid now. It doesn't interact with anything else in our kit but also the higher RenM count we get from Rapid Diffusion & Dancing Mists makes Vivify more valuable, to the point that a single Vivify with enough RenM active will outheal RJW. Mana costs should also be taken into consideration.
Hello!!! Do you think for m+ we should use jade bond or gift of the celestials? Because jade bond increases our healing cd output a lot although 3 min is a lot for not having any strong cd, and gift of the celestials allow me to use it every minute. In this tyrannical week I've noticed I can´t keep my healing output in bosses that do aoe unavoidable damage with my cds because I can use revival and chiji but after those 2 if I don´t have at least one, My m+ party will die.
@@Megasett I have 20% and with haste food and rune I go to 22%. By the way, I've noticed that without sinester teachings, like especially this week I have to top my party always and then maintain with dps/healling, other wise I won´t be able to respond to sudden high burst damage withoutr revival. Like I had 3000 score last season and this week I feel incompetent :(
It's super niche and I don't have it on my bars when I run Healing Elixir. For Expel Harm it's prio is 1. No Healing Elixir 2. No instant Viv 3. No RenM for Mas proc 4. No lockrock/health pot Then you can use EH. The talents you can take for it could put it above RenM in prio but it's still pretty meh
Thanks for the guides! Not a lot of quality monk content out there. I’m just starting to try mistweaver and I’m having a miserable time with it. Is the DPS portion of the healing only possible when the party isn’t taking unnecessary damage?
The healing we get from AT through damage is largely maintenance healing outside of CDs however during Chi-ji the Gusts we proc through the CD via BoK etc are HUGE and is the main healing from Chi-ji. The maintenance portion will feel better as we get more haste as we can get through the rotation faster thus getting more healing events from it. Non-maintenance healing (when people take unnecessary damage) will be a combination of Vivify+Viv cleave as well as things like EnvM with TFT

I use with TFT when there's damage going out. Usually try to wait for some stacks of Upwelling but if I absolutely need to get healing out then you can just send it
Sorry for my ignorance, I'm a Brewmaster main and I'm trying to learn the different aspects of Monk. Your guide is awesome, I was just wondering why would you never take Jade Serpent Statue? Would it not be free healing, or do you not use Soothing Mist enough to make it worth while?
Mostly that we don't use SooM enough to make it worth it but also numerically it underperforms when you could put the point into damage/defensive instead
So im trying to learn healing, but I've always been a melee dps. So i thought ooo melee healer! Thats gotta be my jam lol. Oooo boy was I wrong....healing is hard...maybe one day ill work up the courage to try again.
Hey I'm kind of new to MW, in raid should I ever be casting vivify, like if I don't have the free instant one, should I always soothing mist first then instant vivify? Or it's better to just cast it? Additionally should I be using essence font/stomp before damage goes out to set up the HoT before the dmg or right after the damage to make use of the initial heal too?
If you're casting more than 1 thing on the same person then it's good to SooM before, otherwise you can hard cast. EF hot should be applied before the damage goes out because a good portion of the healing you'll be doing in AoE damage is Gusts through the main Vivify target
I main holy pala, but i started leveling MW monk and love them both Similar playstyles in a way they're both melee healers and have a lot of defensives, just that monk has more mobility But whichever one you pick you won't regret it
Great video. I might try it again as I had fun in SL and was most fun I had as a healer outside of Disc. I ended up switching to another healer for higher keys (20+) because I just couldn't get the melee down with it, however, I loved the range part of it. Do you think it's a waste to even try to do range as a monk in this new xpac with how Melee helps with not only dmg but mana?
I would never recommend you try to play "ranged" MW in PVE content. We're considered melee and will receive melee mechanics and you give up too much of the toolkit by not being in melee.

I dont know what im doing wrong but soothing mist does not let me insta vivify or env-mist on my party frames. It just stops channeling and i have to hard cast the other spells. Anyone else?
I main restoration shaman, but I'm finally trying out this spec. Not saying I'll change my main, but it's fun so far, but still levelling, so still need to find out how it plays in DF :)
Would be really usefull a revival spots list in the raid like the Tiger Lust/chi ji/diffuse magic one :D I know is a lot of work but just as a constructive comment. Thanks for your guides, really usefulls and complete. One last question, is worth to run refreshing Jade wind in any spot? thanks again
RJW is really bad now and unless they change the talent we'll never run it. And for Revival/dispelling it really depends on where your CDs have been assigned, that might be something I add onto later though!

To be honest I don't know the stats for something that doesn't exist. MW is never considered a ranged regardless of talents/position and will always receive melee mechanics. If you're looking for a more caster focused build (while still being in melee) it'd be int > haste > crit.
Your guide have been incredibly useful to me, coming back to WoW after a long break. Do you intend on showing off recommended talents and playstyles for PvP as well? Or is that not your focus this expansion?
Thanks, I also noticed you put font of life as a must pick talent for M+ but that faeline stomp will accomplish what essence font does for us in M+, would we not get more use out of uplifted spirits in this case or the occasion we will use essence font in M+ is still worth it? Unless font of life is effecting the essence font bolt created by our faeline stomp?
Just something else I noticed I’m not sure you mentioned chi burst or chi wave in the video, is this just something we have to pick to get to better talents or should this be included in our rotation? And which to pick out of chi wave or burst?
What are you guys seeing for damage in M0? I ran a few the other day and the damage felt very negligible- less than half tank dps. I know healers are less damage oriented this expac but preservation evokers seem to be doing much more damage, with less complexity, while putting themselves in less danger.
Right now it mostly depends on group/gear, but typically anywhere from 17-26k overall is what I've seen. Presevoker is going to be performing a bit higher than everyone else and that's intentional as they're a main attraction to the expansion -- it'd be weird to release a new class and then have it be bad. Though I agree it's less complex and generally more boring in my opinion
Thoughts on not running Faeline Stomp and going soothing mists? I can see some iffy pulls due to it pulling mobs in M+ ? Returning M Raider much might have changed since I last played
@@Megasett Any theorycraft behind this? I've been runing Soothing mists builds instead of FLS and I was able to save runs from big mistakes by doing tons of cleave healing with Unison + Tear of Morning + Jade statue + EnvM and Viv with no need of a CD like Chi-ji/Yu'lon or Revival. I do lose quite some dmg but I'm pumping really hard without CDS. I'm pretty sure I would not have been able to save those runs with Faeline build. It feels like Faeline build is not very pug friendly
Upwelling is very good in raid when paired with TFT due to the reduced cast time. It can have niche uses in keys but it’s unlikely I’d ever use it in M+
@@Megasett So does it just essentially doubles everything? Bolts, healing, cd? So instead of having to waste mana on it you get the same effectiveness at half the amount of casts?

I have been mistweaving since 8.1, thought I was pretty decent, then somehow lost my way a little at the start of DF and have been feeling like I can't quite make the hps checks in dungeons; but I think a few talent adjustments might help. Plus you're the first person I've seen encouraging the use of soothing mist, which I used to do a lot but got trained/bullied out of by other guides telling me it was a noob button that only bad MWs ever press! I will put it back into my regular setup and see how it goes :') (I am taking double torpedo charges though! That 2nd charge is my main defensive :D) You mentioned that the choice of Chi Ji being frequent+weak or infrequent+strong would vary by dungeon and raid boss - could you share a bit a about what you'd be considering when choosing between the two?
We like to meme on SooM because it's a little bit of a clunky ability but it absolutely is useful especially for ST healing! When choosing between Gift or JB it usually depends on dungeon/route/key level. TJS is my favorite example because I will run JB for the entire dungeon due to the large packs that deal lots of aoe damage + have cleave targets and we benefit from the extra Gust from JB but for the last boss I will swap to Gift for celestial for every ad phase. Basically if I feel like there's a moderate amount of damage that I could benefit from gift for mana saving/frequency of minute bird then I go gift. For JB if there's particular bosses/packs I feel I need the extra throughput from JB then I'll take that
Maybe I missed it, there was a lot of info in this video. I find it odd no one recognizes using essence font for a group-wide heal off an RSK. Tea for a quick font then RSK for a group heal. Upwelling then gets early build-up time for a future font casting
@Megasett I don't see why you wouldn't use it when your 5 man has taken a lot of damage seems like an easy way to get the group back on track. I tend to pug a lot of my runs so maybe my experience is based on that, but people don't move out of damage and it's the only way I can keep groups alive
For me Vivify cleave has proven more efficient but if you find it works for you then go for it - these talent builds are all just what I would run and aren’t by any means the *only* thing to play
Does "close to heart" really increase the healing received ? In my talents tooltip, this hablity still increase the leech by 8%. But if taken, this talent increase the heal received ... i'm a little confused
Paralysis is a soft CC like Blind, hunter's Freezing Trap, Hex/Polymorph etc. which means they're immobilized but will still trigger combat if you get too close. Things like Sap and Imprison are hard CC and prevent combat from being triggered while they're CC'd. Paralysis + RoP can be used in almost every situation where you're looking to skip by just using Paralysis and knocking the mob far away with RoP.
Hello Megasett, ive been playing my mistweaver for a few weeks now, and i have a question: Im having a hard time "fistweaving" by either not outputting enough damage, or doing too much dps and forgetting to heal. Is there a build for traditional "mistweaving" in dragonflight? if so, could you recommend some talents to take?
Mistweaver is not a traditional healer and the attempt to play it that way would be more trouble than it's worth, it would never compete with the intended playstyle
@Megasett hmm other than the tips in your video, do you have any others for someone struggling to maintain focus on both dps and healing at the same time? Maybe a UI or weak aura?
I need to ask Meg, why is rising mist always seen as such a huge deal? I get in shadowlands we needed it to extend our renewing mists and essence font but 1. We have several other talents to pump renewing mists now and 2. We rarely use essence font in m+ now. Surely this talent has lost value?
Rising Mist is what the entire playstyle hinges on. Consistency is important and being able to guarantee people having RenM on them for when the damage happens is imperative as we're a preemptive healer. Some procs that we have also work with Rising Mist and we gain extra value from that + the EnvM from Chi-ji which is now our main CD. It's also worth noting that the Essence Font HoT from Faeline works with Rising Mist. If anything, going from SL -> DF Rising Mist has gained value in that we have to be prepared all of the time and cannot rely on Fallen Order as a safety net when we don't have HoTs rolling.
@@Megasett so you dont think you can get enough RenM uptime with other talents? I mean i feel the RenM uptime is very high even without RM, with it i feel it almost get oversaturated. And you pump your faeline constantly so if you rely that for essence font buff you dont really need to extend it imo (you also have 2 ways of spreading it). Not saying its a bad talent, but i feel its just not as "mandatory" as it was in shadowlands
While more casting heavy builds do exist I wouldn’t recommend being out of melee due do the fact you’d be giving up all of your damage and a majority of your utility. You could also face mana problems in addition to baiting melee mechanics to ranged as we’re categorized as melee regardless of our positioning/talents
It feels like itl be Meta for 2v2... the damage to healing in pvp is insane I dont push keys but ill do the bare minimum to get the meta stats / Gear for PvP Even though the pvp gearing system has been dramitically simplified, The meta will still be doing PvE as well, Sadly I only have fun doing timewalking for pve content, personally
I think Zen pulse is underrated, in m+ even if I don't need the heal - I use it for DPS every pull. combined with SCK it does pretty large overall damage in m+ specifically when tanks doing large pulls and resonate fists is very good in m+ its typically second most damage done. I'm pretty happy with the amount of damage we can do in dungeons (considering its passive healing as well). -Beliieve
I think so too, i also use it every other Pull. I like to combination with Chi-Ji giving out free envelopings and after chiji ends you can get a double zen pulse out of you specced into it
If you're taking ZP I would also take Zen Reverb but I don't think ZP is default. I considered it situational based on it having more value in some dungeons vs others. Definitely looking forward to M+ again though so we can do more testing. Limited beta testing for M+ made it difficult to try everything
A few people brought this up a while ago, I think we decided that shapes/numbers would work better than colors so I'll be doing it differently next time!
Oh boy is this not how i play mistweaver. Im trash at using that build. Will be trying it again when i get to a higher gear level, but currently using thje talents that make it more like a traditional caster, which I assume is inferior.
MW feels *really* bad without Haste right now, it will get better with gear. And yes MW is not a traditional healer and playing it in that way will be less efficient but doable to a certain extend
It's a lot harder now than it was in SL, keep in mind it's the first week and there have been minimal tuning passes in addition to lack of tier sets and probably less than ideal stats. These dungeons are also extra punishing to healers but we could expect some tuning especially heading into next week

1)The randomness of ancient teaching
2)Their high mana usage

I only have 3 things bound into Vuhdo, left click Soom, right click RenM, and middle click Tiger's Lust. Everything else is a mouseover macro

Why shouldn't we use Invoker's Delight in m+?
Can use it in niche situations but it's not worth dropping Faeline stomp talents or RM for it in M+

Gift overall has been better but if you have less than about 20% haste I’d opt for Jade Bond

It's super niche and I don't have it on my bars when I run Healing Elixir. For Expel Harm it's prio is
1. No Healing Elixir
2. No instant Viv
3. No RenM for Mas proc
4. No lockrock/health pot
Then you can use EH. The talents you can take for it could put it above RenM in prio but it's still pretty meh

I’m just starting to try mistweaver and I’m having a miserable time with it. Is the DPS portion of the healing only possible when the party isn’t taking unnecessary damage?
The healing we get from AT through damage is largely maintenance healing outside of CDs however during Chi-ji the Gusts we proc through the CD via BoK etc are HUGE and is the main healing from Chi-ji. The maintenance portion will feel better as we get more haste as we can get through the rotation faster thus getting more healing events from it.
Non-maintenance healing (when people take unnecessary damage) will be a combination of Vivify+Viv cleave as well as things like EnvM with TFT
Thank you for the video Megasett! While healing in raid, do you use essence font on CD during periods of heavy raid damage, or do you always still wait for a full stack from upwelling?
I use with TFT when there's damage going out. Usually try to wait for some stacks of Upwelling but if I absolutely need to get healing out then you can just send it

Sorry for my ignorance, I'm a Brewmaster main and I'm trying to learn the different aspects of Monk. Your guide is awesome, I was just wondering why would you never take Jade Serpent Statue? Would it not be free healing, or do you not use Soothing Mist enough to make it worth while?
Mostly that we don't use SooM enough to make it worth it but also numerically it underperforms when you could put the point into damage/defensive instead

So im trying to learn healing, but I've always been a melee dps. So i thought ooo melee healer! Thats gotta be my jam lol. Oooo boy was I wrong....healing is hard...maybe one day ill work up the courage to try again.
These dungeons are pretty healer intensive, don't get discouraged!
Hey I'm kind of new to MW, in raid should I ever be casting vivify, like if I don't have the free instant one, should I always soothing mist first then instant vivify? Or it's better to just cast it?
Additionally should I be using essence font/stomp before damage goes out to set up the HoT before the dmg or right after the damage to make use of the initial heal too?
If you're casting more than 1 thing on the same person then it's good to SooM before, otherwise you can hard cast. EF hot should be applied before the damage goes out because a good portion of the healing you'll be doing in AoE damage is Gusts through the main Vivify target

I main holy pala, but i started leveling MW monk and love them both
Similar playstyles in a way they're both melee healers and have a lot of defensives, just that monk has more mobility
But whichever one you pick you won't regret it

Great video. I might try it again as I had fun in SL and was most fun I had as a healer outside of Disc. I ended up switching to another healer for higher keys (20+) because I just couldn't get the melee down with it, however, I loved the range part of it. Do you think it's a waste to even try to do range as a monk in this new xpac with how Melee helps with not only dmg but mana?
I would never recommend you try to play "ranged" MW in PVE content. We're considered melee and will receive melee mechanics and you give up too much of the toolkit by not being in melee.

I dont know what im doing wrong but soothing mist does not let me insta vivify or env-mist on my party frames. It just stops channeling and i have to hard cast the other spells. Anyone else?
I main restoration shaman, but I'm finally trying out this spec. Not saying I'll change my main, but it's fun so far, but still levelling, so still need to find out how it plays in DF :)
Would be really usefull a revival spots list in the raid like the Tiger Lust/chi ji/diffuse magic one :D I know is a lot of work but just as a constructive comment. Thanks for your guides, really usefulls and complete. One last question, is worth to run refreshing Jade wind in any spot? thanks again
RJW is really bad now and unless they change the talent we'll never run it. And for Revival/dispelling it really depends on where your CDs have been assigned, that might be something I add onto later though!

Would you say that a ranged mistweaver for raid would go int>haste> mast?
To be honest I don't know the stats for something that doesn't exist. MW is never considered a ranged regardless of talents/position and will always receive melee mechanics. If you're looking for a more caster focused build (while still being in melee) it'd be int > haste > crit.

In M+, always Chi-ji. In raid, you can take Yu'lon if you have access to 2-3 Innervates -- I will personally never take Yu'lon in raid
Thanks, I also noticed you put font of life as a must pick talent for M+ but that faeline stomp will accomplish what essence font does for us in M+, would we not get more use out of uplifted spirits in this case or the occasion we will use essence font in M+ is still worth it? Unless font of life is effecting the essence font bolt created by our faeline stomp?

Just something else I noticed I’m not sure you mentioned chi burst or chi wave in the video, is this just something we have to pick to get to better talents or should this be included in our rotation? And which to pick out of chi wave or burst?

What are you guys seeing for damage in M0? I ran a few the other day and the damage felt very negligible- less than half tank dps. I know healers are less damage oriented this expac but preservation evokers seem to be doing much more damage, with less complexity, while putting themselves in less danger.
Right now it mostly depends on group/gear, but typically anywhere from 17-26k overall is what I've seen. Presevoker is going to be performing a bit higher than everyone else and that's intentional as they're a main attraction to the expansion -- it'd be weird to release a new class and then have it be bad. Though I agree it's less complex and generally more boring in my opinion

Don't really think there's a bad choice except for movement speed, we don't really need additional movement
i would take the white tiger statue it increases ur dps quite a bit its doing around 7% of my damage in m0's atm

A majority of our healing overall comes from direct damage -> healing abilities as well as hot procs and extensions through our dps spells yes
Thoughts on not running Faeline Stomp and going soothing mists? I can see some iffy pulls due to it pulling mobs in M+ ? Returning M Raider much might have changed since I last played
I wouldn't recommend it, Faeline is a huge part of our build in M+ and in raid. Not having it would be a big hindrance

@@Megasett Any theorycraft behind this? I've been runing Soothing mists builds instead of FLS and I was able to save runs from big mistakes by doing tons of cleave healing with Unison + Tear of Morning + Jade statue + EnvM and Viv with no need of a CD like Chi-ji/Yu'lon or Revival.
I do lose quite some dmg but I'm pumping really hard without CDS.
I'm pretty sure I would not have been able to save those runs with Faeline build.
It feels like Faeline build is not very pug friendly
How good is upwelling? I've been debating not taking it over some other talents.
Upwelling is very good in raid when paired with TFT due to the reduced cast time. It can have niche uses in keys but it’s unlikely I’d ever use it in M+
@@Megasett So does it just essentially doubles everything? Bolts, healing, cd? So instead of having to waste mana on it you get the same effectiveness at half the amount of casts?

Thank you for this guide! I have been mistweaving since 8.1, thought I was pretty decent, then somehow lost my way a little at the start of DF and have been feeling like I can't quite make the hps checks in dungeons; but I think a few talent adjustments might help. Plus you're the first person I've seen encouraging the use of soothing mist, which I used to do a lot but got trained/bullied out of by other guides telling me it was a noob button that only bad MWs ever press! I will put it back into my regular setup and see how it goes :') (I am taking double torpedo charges though! That 2nd charge is my main defensive :D)
You mentioned that the choice of Chi Ji being frequent+weak or infrequent+strong would vary by dungeon and raid boss - could you share a bit a about what you'd be considering when choosing between the two?
We like to meme on SooM because it's a little bit of a clunky ability but it absolutely is useful especially for ST healing! When choosing between Gift or JB it usually depends on dungeon/route/key level. TJS is my favorite example because I will run JB for the entire dungeon due to the large packs that deal lots of aoe damage + have cleave targets and we benefit from the extra Gust from JB but for the last boss I will swap to Gift for celestial for every ad phase.
Basically if I feel like there's a moderate amount of damage that I could benefit from gift for mana saving/frequency of minute bird then I go gift. For JB if there's particular bosses/packs I feel I need the extra throughput from JB then I'll take that

I just can't wrap my head around this spec i Love the aspect of it but I'm just having trouble with it.
Maybe I missed it, there was a lot of info in this video. I find it odd no one recognizes using essence font for a group-wide heal off an RSK. Tea for a quick font then RSK for a group heal. Upwelling then gets early build-up time for a future font casting

@Megasett I don't see why you wouldn't use it when your 5 man has taken a lot of damage seems like an easy way to get the group back on track. I tend to pug a lot of my runs so maybe my experience is based on that, but people don't move out of damage and it's the only way I can keep groups alive
For me Vivify cleave has proven more efficient but if you find it works for you then go for it - these talent builds are all just what I would run and aren’t by any means the *only* thing to play

Does "close to heart" really increase the healing received ? In my talents tooltip, this hablity still increase the leech by 8%. But if taken, this talent increase the heal received ... i'm a little confused
It used to be leech but was removed and replaced with increased healing received in early-mid beta

Is my paralysis broken, as it always puts me in combat 😮💨
Paralysis is a soft CC like Blind, hunter's Freezing Trap, Hex/Polymorph etc. which means they're immobilized but will still trigger combat if you get too close. Things like Sap and Imprison are hard CC and prevent combat from being triggered while they're CC'd.
Paralysis + RoP can be used in almost every situation where you're looking to skip by just using Paralysis and knocking the mob far away with RoP.
Hello Megasett, ive been playing my mistweaver for a few weeks now, and i have a question: Im having a hard time "fistweaving" by either not outputting enough damage, or doing too much dps and forgetting to heal. Is there a build for traditional "mistweaving" in dragonflight? if so, could you recommend some talents to take?
Mistweaver is not a traditional healer and the attempt to play it that way would be more trouble than it's worth, it would never compete with the intended playstyle
@Megasett hmm other than the tips in your video, do you have any others for someone struggling to maintain focus on both dps and healing at the same time? Maybe a UI or weak aura?
I need to ask Meg, why is rising mist always seen as such a huge deal? I get in shadowlands we needed it to extend our renewing mists and essence font but 1. We have several other talents to pump renewing mists now and 2. We rarely use essence font in m+ now. Surely this talent has lost value?
Rising Mist is what the entire playstyle hinges on. Consistency is important and being able to guarantee people having RenM on them for when the damage happens is imperative as we're a preemptive healer. Some procs that we have also work with Rising Mist and we gain extra value from that + the EnvM from Chi-ji which is now our main CD. It's also worth noting that the Essence Font HoT from Faeline works with Rising Mist. If anything, going from SL -> DF Rising Mist has gained value in that we have to be prepared all of the time and cannot rely on Fallen Order as a safety net when we don't have HoTs rolling.
@@Megasett so you dont think you can get enough RenM uptime with other talents? I mean i feel the RenM uptime is very high even without RM, with it i feel it almost get oversaturated. And you pump your faeline constantly so if you rely that for essence font buff you dont really need to extend it imo (you also have 2 ways of spreading it).
Not saying its a bad talent, but i feel its just not as "mandatory" as it was in shadowlands

i feel like I have way too many buttons, i have 26 keybinds and i feel like i utilize them all in mythic+ or raid.

While more casting heavy builds do exist I wouldn’t recommend being out of melee due do the fact you’d be giving up all of your damage and a majority of your utility. You could also face mana problems in addition to baiting melee mechanics to ranged as we’re categorized as melee regardless of our positioning/talents
It feels like itl be Meta for 2v2... the damage to healing in pvp is insane
I dont push keys but ill do the bare minimum to get the meta stats / Gear for PvP
Even though the pvp gearing system has been dramitically simplified, The meta will still be doing PvE as well, Sadly
I only have fun doing timewalking for pve content, personally
I think Zen pulse is underrated, in m+ even if I don't need the heal - I use it for DPS every pull. combined with SCK it does pretty large overall damage in m+ specifically when tanks doing large pulls and resonate fists is very good in m+ its typically second most damage done. I'm pretty happy with the amount of damage we can do in dungeons (considering its passive healing as well). -Beliieve
I think so too, i also use it every other Pull. I like to combination with Chi-Ji giving out free envelopings and after chiji ends you can get a double zen pulse out of you specced into it
I personally find it underwhelming after giving it so many chances but I know a lot of people are a fan of it

@@Megasett yea I wouldn't waste more than 1 point into it but any extra damage I can get to make the dungeon faster im all about it :D
If you're taking ZP I would also take Zen Reverb but I don't think ZP is default. I considered it situational based on it having more value in some dungeons vs others. Definitely looking forward to M+ again though so we can do more testing. Limited beta testing for M+ made it difficult to try everything

Nice guide. But your talent tree coloring is quite difficult for people with red/green color vision deficiency!
A few people brought this up a while ago, I think we decided that shapes/numbers would work better than colors so I'll be doing it differently next time!
Oh boy is this not how i play mistweaver. Im trash at using that build. Will be trying it again when i get to a higher gear level, but currently using thje talents that make it more like a traditional caster, which I assume is inferior.
MW feels *really* bad without Haste right now, it will get better with gear. And yes MW is not a traditional healer and playing it in that way will be less efficient but doable to a certain extend
I give up on mistweaver, in SL I had no issues and now I cant heal for shit.
It's a lot harder now than it was in SL, keep in mind it's the first week and there have been minimal tuning passes in addition to lack of tier sets and probably less than ideal stats. These dungeons are also extra punishing to healers but we could expect some tuning especially heading into next week
