Some people don't understand the way he was using the word, if a white man says the "N" word they say he's being racist. That's not how he was saying it. I worked at a place a very long time ago were the manager got fired bcuz a coworker, a black man made a complaint bcuz our manager would say the "N" word. Our manager was a Spanish guy,he was really cool with us,and he was just saying it in a cool way, not a racist way. I never took any offense to it, neither did any of the other dudes, except for the one,he took it personally, called in on the manager and he got fired.
