OP, in the last scene you show your system. Yours are still the 'unofficial' version which will give you long wait (about 1min boot time). You need to completely flash the most updated JELOS to a card instead of just updating on the air. The JELOS that comes with some of this older system starts with unofficial version. Even if you update over the air it will not clear this status. The fact you see the screen "you have been ripped off.." that tells you that you are using the official JELOS. The fresh install ones will not show this screen and it takes 10 sec to boot. Hope this helps.

@wongwwy I flash card again woth the newest one and is massive different in loading time from over 1 minute to like 20 seconds plus n64 working way better 👌👌👌
@@jacu27yup. really hope the instruction manual could mention to totally reflash a new img to the sdcard. Just update won't do it. I found it out the hard way back then.

For the wifi, go back after 'enabeling network' to the higher menu level. Only then the Wifi is 'really' enabled. Afterwards return to 'network settings'-'wifi ssid' and it will show the ssid's.
It seems like you know everything there is to know about the powkiddy x55. I'm definitely gonna need a lot of help here as retroarch is very complicated for me.
I think if you just received x55 probably you have old system version it will be worth to update ruclips.net/video/EkpPt4JRwXM/видео.html , retroarch it is not hard but when you using first time it can make you confused and that's true , check the updating video which one I gave you
@@jacu27 surprisingly my powkiddy x55 came with the updated version of JELOS. Boot time is very fast and everything seems to be working fine. However, after messing around with retroarch I started to get more familiar with it. One of my questions though, is it possible to set a permanent aspect ratio of 16:9 on certain emulators?? I hate to have to change the aspect ratio every time I play a game.

Hi, thanks for your info this is very helpful. Quick question i find pressing the joystick to get to the menu pretty annoying. It always accidentally comes up when i am playing a game in PSP. Is there a way to change that to select or something else you recommend.
Yoi can change that by remapping it in the 'controls' options inside the PSP emulator.
Helpful video thanks man. One thing I noticed is my x55 only shows a brightness settings, so can’t change any gamma and other settings. Have you any idea what the problem might be? Thanks

@@jacu27 my powkiddy x55 came with the updated version of JELOS. All I did to get PS1 gsmes to work was switch the emulator from default to a different one.

Can I add roms through Wifi? my laptop wont read the SD card. There are no Mario or Pokemon games on the device sadly.
Im using usb card reader , which is cheap to buy , and it is gonna work . By WiFi, I haven't gotten an idea how that could be possible,
Got mine and.charged to full right out of the box. Played 2 hours. Charged back to full and unplugged. Has never come on since. I don't even get charge indicator light when i plug it in

I messed something up in Retroarch settings, now when I activate the Retroarch menu by pressing Select & X, I can't the see settings. The screen turns yellow/orange/green and I cant see any of the setting. Is there a way to reset the settings to default?

@@jacu27 Thank you for all your help. I ran into some more problems. Ok I flashed a new Mirco SD Card with JELOS. JELOS loads but my games aren't showing up like in your video. The only thing that is showing up is Music Player, Tools, Favorites & ScrummVM. I can see the game roms in the file manager. How do I get Jelos to load them?
@thehyperspacevault yes it is easy to fix . You need to crate the folder on your games card with the name "roms" then just you need to drag all the files and folders into that folder . This will work new jelos have that

Nic nie potrzebujesz , włóż sformatowaną kartę do drugiego slotu kiedy konsola będzie się włączać system sam wygeneruje wszystkie foldery i skofiguruje kartę, potem tylko wrzucasz romy do odpowiednich katalogów

Have no idea what's happened , as ive said here I've had the problem but after put the correct wifi name ,the WiFi starts working properly and now I've got without problems
On another console, when I was playing Pokemon on gameboyadvence, it was possible to speed up the game, e.g. 2x faster, how can I do it on x55?
Select + R1 = save state
Select + L1 = load state
Select + R2 = fast forward
Select + L2 = rewind (if enabled in Game Settings)

dont suppose you have any cool guides to set up more consoles when you buy the console that didnt have the second TF card? Mine came today and all it had was 2 consoles setup and it was the SCummvm and Pico-8 and i have no idea what to do lol
You've bought the console just with one card that's mean you haven't got games , one card onleft side it is just system
The only one way , you need a new card formatted, then you have to put on second slot and wait until the main menu turn up , then you can put your card to card reader on pc , and you will see folders with all systems , then in specific folders you need to copy roms downloaded
@@jacu27 yes, im loading up some games now, noticed that putting the second TF in it dumped a heap of directories onto it. Copied the bios from the miyoo as well
@3rutu5 when you put the games to the specific folders , after turn on hanheld you will see straight the every single emulator with games automatically
One more thing if some.system not.working is meaning you need to put specific system bios to bios folder which is in the dame place where you have games folders

Also, i keep changing the hotkey keybinds on retroarch. Saved configurations. My hotkey keybind works. But when i closed the game, opened back the game. My hotkey keybinds are reset back to default. How to save and make my keybinds permanent?
