The Vulture chase destruction mechanic comes back in Ultimate Spider-Man when you chase Beetle and Goblin. Gotta save those civilians like a spider do.
I love this game. It's basically an updated version of the Spider-Man game on the ps1. All the mechanics are basically the same but just updated and slightly refined.
My brother in Christ, you said "beating Goblin off" not once but *twice.* No, but forreal this game is heavily underrated. I loved the breaks in the action to save people and actually how many levels Goblin got. It really built a sense of rivalry and each one just built up the finale for me. ACTUALLY, Peter didn’t happen to be where Scorpion was, Norman Osborn told the Hunter Killers to force Scorpion to go where Spider-Man is to capture both of them at the same time.

Sure it’s not great but they material he was given was so good and proves that he can be a relatable and dorky Peter Parker and a jokey and heroic Spider-Man) 2. If you play the Xbox version, you’ll get two exclusive levels taking place in between the bomb mission and the razor bat fight. These missions let you fight the Raimi-Verse version of Kraven the Hunter, who’s been hired by Norman to hunt Spider-Man down. In short 8/10 game, would play again.
Every review of this game that I’ve watched, never mentions Kraven the Hunter as a boss battle. Which has me questioning if it ever happened in the game.
Most games based on movies have an early development so as soon as you finish watching the movie you got a game with more content and same characters with a similar story So my guess is that they told the developers that they wanted a game based on the movie, probablt gave them a copy of the script or showed them the movie way earlier with some creative ideas for them to make and add They probably showed images of Peter and the webshooter and maybe after coding that they got told that "the webshooter got discared" so i believe the code was there to fix it, most movie games have to get the game ready once the movie releases That's my guess
I like that they added a cheat code that gave you unlimited (organic) webbing and this cheat code could actually be saved in your game file so you didn't have to re-enter it every time you started the game.

I remember having the Spider-Man 2002 DVD and watching a guide on the first three levels of this game *CONSTANTLY* as a kid. And I never owned the game. :)
Did you know this game was banned in some countries because of the play as Mary Jane cheat? You retain the model through most cutscenes and that includes the final one where Spider-Man kisses Mary Jane, so while wearing the MJ costume you technically have a girl on girl kiss and that got the game banned lol.
Some copes of the game were updated after publishing to comply with certain laws. So you might have the updated version that removed the MJ kiss cheat.
@@aaronskuse2207 I think you're right. I did have the player's choice edition of the GameCube version and the platinum hits edition for the Xbox so that would explain it.

3:47 we know that early in production he had web shooters. There were whole filmed deleted scenes of him building, testing, and using them. In fact in certain scenes they never re-filmed he has them. Mostly far off swinging shots where the gloves are different with more than just the nozzle. In the final suit it still has a nozzle to get through his gloves. Tie-in movie games are usually made when the movie is in production or even pre production. So it is perfectly believable that the devs only heard about the organic webs after and made the cheat.
Spider-Man the movie game felt like a reskinned version of the 2000s Spider-Man game from Neversoft Spider-Man 2 on PSP (which I played) felt like a reskinnef version of the first game because it was linear and rarely had any open world gameplay Spider-Man 3 on PS2 (which I also played) felt like a reskinned version of Spider-Man 2 because it was on the same console

Y'know, the thing about organic webbing is that it should mean that Peter doesn't have to reload by putting a new cartridge in web shooters, not that he should have INFINITE webbing. Like, you'd figure that his body would run out of the material it uses to make webs at some point. Although, actual spiders apparently don't have to worry about running out of webs, I think.
I think as long as Peter eat something with protein and doesn't starve and is hydrated he won't easily run out of webs, but he could still run out webs if he's unhealthy or usage is greater than production. Just my theory though from my limited knowledge of spiders
fun fact: there's actually a native PC port of this game out there. I came across it when researching old spider-man 2002 commercials and advertisements. I came across an old best buy commercial where some guy was playing spider-man 2002 the movie game on a desktop computer, and the commercial mentioned "spider-man computer game". turns out it does exist, and hunting down a physical copy is torture. but if you look around a bit on the internet, you'll find a download for it. I must warn you that the camera is EVEN WORSE in this version in my own experiences and the game doesnt appear to support proper HD resolutions, so get ready for some 720p 4:3 action

It’s kinda insane how much technology have improved
W costume, you’ve earned a sub brother
fun fact: there's actually a native PC port of this game out there.
This games cheat codes were soooo much fun. Being able to play as Green Goblin and Mary Jane was unreal 😂
The nostalgia
Movie tie in games are normally a let down in my opinion
Put that content in my veins
I could always use few costumes for myself and keep them as collectibles
Please do a update video on your Spider-Man show
1:15 "Spider-Man... Da Mobie"
1:18 spider-Man da moobie🔥
Throwing cars at the green goblin for the last fight was the best
At 4 minutes when you entered the warehouse I had vietnam flashbacks of stupid little baby me playing this and never making it past that part
I realized something, the cutscene where Norman uses the serum after he gets fired is similar to the TASM 1 movie.
I find it hilarious that there was “chaos” on the horizon 😂😂😂😂
Did you pray today was crazy
