My interpretation of the song "Chung Kuo" by Vangelis, from the album "China." Realized using the Cherry Audio GX-80 VSTi, and Presonus Studio One.

You nailed this like a sir. This is great work. Someone should create a midi control panel for this VST so we can all stop whining about not having CS80. You really created the proof that digital can do the job.

I hope i dont offend you, but you should do some mastering on this song, yes its is that good.
Not to talk about myself , but i am trying to finish my cover version of Vangelis (ed starink cover / to the unknown man), but strugle abit with mastering, anyway its not important, its just a demo of the what the gx80 is capable of.
I even managed to replicate the famours cs80 guitar patch, but a more clean brigther patch version (similar to the synthesizer greatest , to the unknown man cs80 guitar patch).

Tonally, not bad. Spatially... not even close. I appreciate the effort but the overall impression of this version is of a crowded soundstage with poor clarity on the attacks (especially at the beginning).
