Still sounds good 26 years on.
Best b side I ever heard. Driving home listening to this watching the sunrise hundreds of times x
💚🤗
Hayley, i totally agree.
1992, my dear what a year.
Sending love and smiles your way
💚
❤❤❤
Actually I discovered this track by chance back then in 1993 because it was a B side. My brother had the tape then I listened to it in my Pioneer stereo in my car. So what a pleasant surprise! One of the best trance tracks I ever heard (along with DJ Rolando's Jaguar). Cheers from Mexico City :)
I'm back 3 years later and still listening to this.
I haven’t heard this since I lost the tape in about 1994.
Thank you for uploading it.
In hindsight it had more of a formative effect on my music taste than I realised.
one of the best trance tracks of all time for sure.. timeless
this is one of my old time favourites, had it on tape in the dark ages, thanks for this :))))
I used to drive from Boise Idaho to Las Vegas Nevada. I swear this song was on repeat more than half the trip. My mind is at bliss and I lose all track of time.
Take me back to 92
The Utah Saints track "Trance Atlantic Flight" was used as a soundtrack to a 1994 lesbian interest short film (shown on channel 4 in the U.K.).Here is some basic Info.
Film Title : Double Entente
Year : 1994
Director & Producer : Jacquie Lawrence
Production Company : My Aunt Fanny Films
Cast : Rebecca Shepherd and Clarke Hayes
Music : Utah Saints - Trance Atlantic Flight
Runtime : 11 mins
Availability : It is a bonus feature on the Wolfe Video DVD "Watching You"
This short film is where I first heard this music all those years ago I loved it and I recorded it direct from the VHS recording onto minidisc ( remember them, i still have the recording) I can't remember the film and over time forgot where I recorded the music from and never thought I'd ever find out again, I kind of knew it was Utah saints but it only took me 26 years to look and find out that it's called trance Atlantic flight so I can get a proper recording and do away with my rough old VHS audio rip.
Can't find double entente online to relive the moment when I first heard trance Atlantic flight or even find much out about it, shame as I love those nostalgic moments
The r/OldElectronicMusic subreddit brought me here!
🔥 💣 💚
trance classic, so overlooked
There were two releases of this song..one being Trance Atlantic Flight and the other being Trance Atlantic Glide.
It was such an awesome b-side :)
When the piano comes in to finalise the perfection
Had this on vinyl, could b played at both speeds, mind blowing
+david mcloughlin mcloughlin Me too, loved the slower version as it sounded darker. Amazing track
+david mcloughlin mcloughlin I used to do this with the 12" from Frankie! Still worked at 33rpm
Woah, only ever had this on CD, so you just blew my mind there XD
I ordered my copy a couple of days ago :)
Used to play this half speed too. Sounded so good.
I heard Something Good back when it came out in '93 & bought the CD. I listed to it all the tiem & this is one of my all time fave tracks ever. It is so mesmerizing & energizing to this day - 29 yrs later. This was an amazing DJ group and I still listen to this CD. And yes I said CD, lol.
takes me back.. still great tunes
\o/
Those whales know how to produce a floaty trance tune
@ir0nee I remember that. It was on Channel 4 around 92 and just featured 2 women from what I remember. I'd bought this tune about 2 weeks before seeing it. Like you say, there was no dialogue, just this track playing. I've been scouring the web to try and find it. No joy.
I know this, and recorded it onto VHS on one of the occasions it was shown as part of C4's "The Shooting Gallery". Lost to me now but I believe the short was called "Double Entente"?
I remembered that, right down to the title!
The Shooting Gallery never hit such a highlight again for me XD
Nice upload. Germany's Radio 4 U ("The Big Beat") in the early '90s played tracks like this, what mades me to a young Techno/Trance-fan for the next 6 years. ^^
Wonderful tune enough said
I found this CD in an off the wall music store mid 1990's i loved it! still do
omg i been looking for ages for this :-) classic OLD SKHOOL
Original techno
I remember seeing a short film with this as the soundtrack running right through it and would love to see it again. I don't think there were any words and it was presumably exactly 7 minutes 10 seconds long. Anyone else remember it?

Double entent, part of a c4 short film season, v good watch!
where is the endless repeat button?
Right click the video and click loop
Right click the video and click loop
man I was a 1yr old when this came out but I remember it when I was like 3 or 4yrs old, I love this track!
The great thing about the way this was recorded is it still sounds awesome on 33rpm instead of 45. Give it a try
thumbs up if this should be a secret track to the "Koyaanisqatsi" soundtrack.
Trans Atlantic glide is a Jumbo Jet.
Trans Atlantic flight is Concorde
Musical genius... play it backwards at half speed... if you can feel beauty just listen...
Old school classic
remember this times)))
I had the cardboard cased CD single , until I wore it out
....31 years on...
thank you for posting
although i prefer the "trance atlantic glide"-version from the first album this one is still great... :)
Thank you
does anyone remember the channel 4 short film that used this about two women in newcastle
Regret selling this CD EP. Americans were so far behind musically until 2001. We truly missed out on what Mother Europa had going on 87-94.
Tune
Does anyone know anything about the film that ir0nee mentions, with the two women in it? It was shown on Channel 4 in the 1990's and was filmed in a hotel in Newcastle and on the causeway to the Island of Lindisfarne in Northumberland.
Ahh, my mistake. Thanks for the correction
Does anyone know what samples were used in this track?
Dolphins
kinetiksilence
Whales ?
The birth of Trance Music????
Agree
Don't think you were mistaken - sounds like some sort of whale song on a loop used by Utah Saints here, for dolphin noises try Pacific Melody by Airscape.
Hope that you are doing okay, Axel.😊
first...for 2018!
