Oh, gosh..memories. Me and 3 friends got off work on a Friday, in Columbus Ohio, and drove 18 hours to Miami, Florida to attend a rave where Utah Saints were playing. It took 20 hours to get back, so 38 hours of driving and spent less than 18 in Miami itself. Fun, crazy times.
Kate Bush CBE…the _only_ sample she has _ever_ allowed in a career that started in 1978 (when I became a fan, yeah, I’m ancient)…what a move. Bought this back in’t day (of course), it’s genius. Love it still 🥰
I think this is the only song in history to have been turned from a classic in to a club classic and then in to a modern club classic nearly 2 decades later, awesome.
Memories crashing back to mind....... Amazing the emotions hearing this..... dancing with your friends..... Smiling......... hugging....... living in the moment....... Sending the love to all who where there back in the day 😊
I bought the cassette for this album in the summer of sixth grade.... i played it until i broke the reels. then i took apart an old maxwell cassette and re spun it. My daughter found it and was like really dad ? really? i told her this is what skrillex would sound like if he had talent ...
graciano b Thats nowt! I did some communiy service in a charity shop and had a young asian girl working there! Someone donated a sealed pack of cassette tapes and she asked me what they was! I replied its CDr from back in my day!

@@iku7208 It was then more like revalation ... a whisper of Destiny using Kates voice, saying - Go get high and have awesome fuck tonight...and if she says...as a young man i had no balls to disrespect direct order from Kate Fuckin Bush.
MuppetBasher What's your opinion on the best welsh band Utah saints or K-Klass. ??? Just curious, saw both live and I've gotta go with K-Klass for their classics.....not to say Utah saints are bad but K-Klass edge it for me
90s my teenage years #thebestofmylife.. didnt realise that then.. everything has come flooding back the memories of that time.. this song hasnt aged still as fresh now as it was then.. thank you for the memories
In my 30’s following a dream of college graduation, I listened to this song. I felt so uplifted and confident in achieving my goal. I did it. GOD sent this to me for HIS purpose.
I still miss Radio Free Hawaii... hearing this song brings the memories rushing back. I thought... I need to hear this song again to chase away the coronavirus blues.
And just like that, I'm young again !!! Thankyou, so so many memories, back when dance music actually meant something + everyone was nice + it was FUN !!!.....
I used to share a house in Leeds 91-92 with a girl who was friendly with these guys. They used to go and chill on Woodhouse Park on Sunday afternoons with these tunes blaring out of a stereo...
This song is beyond exciting, beyond just merely exhilarating and mesmerizing. It is transcendent, amazingly and beautifully transcendent. And steeped in this nostalgic bliss, nostalgic magic and nostalgic wonder, divinely inspired and ahead of its time as this song was.
I was just a kid when this was released, however I was brought up on the Sunday evening chart countdown. Always loved this, N-Trance, The Prodigy etc. I'm 36, love electronic and everything that spawned from it lol.
Bought the cassette single in '92 in Moreno Valley, CA., played the shit out of the tape on my Kenwood pullout driving around in a Honda CRX. Good times...
I know every generation probably says the same thing about their decade but seriously, the 90's was far and beyond the greatest decade ever for musical diversity!!!
@@elfoxy1997, you might not know but overcompression / reduction of dynamics has destroyed sound quality all around, there is almost none good quality music left anymore from technical quality perspective; except for jazz / classic etc. Oh, of course the OLD ones are good, if they are not "remastered" (that is, crapped the same way everything else is).

Glad this lot used the Kate Bush sample from 'Cloudbusting' with her permission and this became an absolute BANGER back in 1992! Still good to hear now. Previously 'What Can You Do For Me' (1991) had almost been banned after the sample of Annie Lennox which was featured became a contentious issue. But IIRC a loophole in the law existed and the ban was never instigated although radio stations up and down the UK refused to give it airtime as a result. As for the March 2008 repraisal of 'Something Good' well ... Nothing to write home about IMHO! What were they thinking?!!
Masterpiece. Kate Bush has such a wonderful voice.
Cloudbusting a great tune too

HOLY SHIT! There's an even longer version of this song!?!?!? Kick ass!
lazylank The longer version, imo, kinda drags the theme on. This is the perfect length for stress-free listening.
this is the album version.
@@mikepaul1216 Really? Well that's cool to know, thanks!
Used to run a DJ crew back in the early ‘90s and this was in heavy rotation. Good times 😎
Kate Bush's vocals are what makes this great!❤
instruments + vocals - it wouldn't be great without either :)

It was remixed and re-released in 2008, if I remember correctly. It even comes with a badass music video.
