What sucks is that if you work outdoors, its not a great case when compared to other protective cases for 2 big reasons. The first being the camera cutout. For the pixel 8 pro, you can see a thin strip of the actual back of the phone at the top and bottom of the camera cutout, which means small pieces of gravel can get trapped in there and if you drop your phone the right way, that small piece of gravel can scuff that small area. An easy fix from otterbox would be more precise cutouts, an easy user fix is to use a skin from dbrands. The next bug issue is the holster. If i have the phone holstered with the screen facing inwards, the phone gets knocked loose very easly. Someting as easy as jogging knocked mine out, and everytime i jumped off the back of my truck, it fell out. This wasnt an issue with the screen facing outwards though The camera cutout issue is an issue with a lot of cases from the pixel 6 up to the pixel 8, not so much with pixel 9 since it has a new design for the camera bar. I know bellroy leather cases have that exact issue, and bellroy is a "high end" brand.
Such a shame that this great case doesn't have any lanyard holes for extra security when e.g. leening over a railing and wanting some extra security in case of dropping the phone (with a cord/cable). The lack of magsafe is also strange.
Hi, what about protective glass? I see this case has sorta ring to hold the phone in it. By that I believe it doesn't allow to glue any protection on the screen itself except thin foil
It does not. I made another comment about 2 big flaws this case has, but they're not a big deal if you don't work outdoors and if you use the holster a certain way
