  • In this video, “How To Train & Test Online”, I answer all of the most common questions that I receive regarding online martial arts training. Some of the questions that I answer within this video are:
How to train in ninjutsu online?
How to submit ninja video reviews online?
How to submit ninpo testing online?
This lesson is directly for the practitioners of the ancient Japanese koryu martial arts of the ninja and samurai, such as ninjutsu (ninpo) and bujutsu (budo).

You guys won't be dissatisfied in this home study program. I have done a few of them in some of the well known organizations. This one is by and far one of the most affordable and the absolute most respected of the lot. Soke Jacobson will help you any way you can think of. She will always get back to you and really welcomes you in to this thing like family. If you love the ninja and samurai martial arts this is the place to go. I searched a while to find the kind of training that you get with soke. Be ready though. This isn't a Monday night, Thursday night kind if art. It is a lifestyle. Anshu Christa will make you the best you can be if you follow the program and listen to the critique, then do your best to correct your mistakes. I have found my home in the martial arts and I hope you can as well.

@@SokeAnshu truth is truth. I haven't seen anything quite like what you are doing here. You teach applicable martial arts, outdoor survival, meteorology, firearms, hiding and escape, etc. that make people modern warriors. You do it while making life long friends instead of us being a number on a certificate. To me that is what a true soke is.

    coming into the video
its hard to think "just by this to start learning from our online site" is just there and no pre requisites or no need to go anywhere (sorta). From just how majority of things most people teach free, shows it always recommends or will require another person to actually have good or useful training (not motivation reasons ofc)
Its great the video does mention you wont get a partner in the mail to help with motivation and so on and the fact you yourself have to be willing to get off your ass and do things yourself. Been on both ends of that with other things
sucks I don't live in the U.S near these dojos or near any martial arts place without a drive and whatnot. definitely will consider giving level 1 a try and see if its worth doing in a week or two

    Dear Master Christa
Thank you very much for the videos on RUclips. I regularly watch them and learned a lot. Is there any pair training? How can one do that online?
Is there any age limit? Older People cannot do acrobatic movements or climbing wall or .... What do you suggest?
    Best regards and OSU
    Mehdi.

    • @SokeAnshu

Yes there are "pair training. Online training does not mean "solo training". But level one does not require any partner. There is no age limit. If you think you can do it, then give it a shot. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks for the post. Take care and be safe.

Hello - Questions 1: Is there a certain point where you can go no further without a partner? If so, can you use someone who is not training as a stand-in for a technique? While demonstrating at partial speed or strength to accommodate them? Questions 2: If we have one bad knee that we can still train with if it is wrapped up and in a brace, knowing that there is just some things out there that someone on the downside of their 40s just aren't going to be able to do anymore?

    • @SokeAnshu
      @SokeAnshu  2 года назад +5

Thank you for your interest in the Budo Ryu Kai and the study of ninjutsu! I will do my best to answer your questions.
      .
      (Q) Is there a certain point where you can go no further without a partner?
      (A) The first 2 levels you do not need a training partner. We are focusing more on basic skills: stances, striking, movement, bag work, etc, etc... Once you hit level 3 you will need a training partner to demonstrate the skills on. Your stand-in can be a friend or family member who wants to help you with you review, they do not need to be a student of the organization.
      .
      (Q) If we have one bad knee that we can still train with if it is wrapped up and in a brace, knowing that there is just some things out there that someone on the downside of their 40s just aren't going to be able to do anymore?
      (A) Not sure the question, maybe you thought you finished the question? I "think" you are talking about injuries. In that case... the individual is always more important than the art. I will always work around any injury that we need, to help the student progress with their training.
      .
When you get a chance, watch this video it will also answer some of your question.
      ruclips.net/video/reLtqS2oqNI/видео.html
      .
If you have any more questions please let me know. Also, if you are interested, all you have to do is go to the website www.BudoRyuNinjutsu.com click on online dojo and purchase level #1 (9th kyu) and you should get a email from us within 24 hours of purchase.
      .
Thank you again! Have a great day!

Hello, wondered regarding the ranking test one usually have to participate in a real physical competition (again usually with a person with a one rank higher, and have to win it they are some you need to succeed, over three higher belt) could you please elaborate on that.
My Second question is where can we find out your locations including your own classes location in States?
Thank you so much in advance for your time.
    Al

    • @SokeAnshu
      @SokeAnshu  2 года назад

Thank you for the interest. To start, (1) we do not sell the program all at once, what this means is, until you pass Level 1 training, you cannot purchase level 2 training. Level 1 training does not require you to have a partner as we are working on basic techniques, stances and strikes. (2) As far as locations, I am located in Kansas City, KS, however we do have other locations which is listed on the website.
      .
We have people all over the world training with us. If you are in the USA, generally we have people in every state. However, we do not find anyone training groups or partners until they pass level 1 training. If someone is not dedicated to pass level 1, there is no need to send them to any training group or find them any partners in their state or country.
      .
Thank you for the interest. More information is listed on our website. www.BudoRyuNinjutsu.com

Yes, you will need to have a person to demonstrate techniques on once you hit level #3. The first 2 levels you do not need a person to stand in with you, as we are focused on basics, basic movements strikes and kata. But again, yes, once you hit level #3, you will need a person to demonstrate your techniques on. I would not worry too much about that. Just start with level #1 and work on getting through that first... Thank you for the post!

There are 10 kyu ranks (10 levels | 10th kyu - 1st kyu) to achieve Black Belt (shodan). Then, following the kyu levels, there are 10 levels of Black Belt Training. This is common among traditional Japanese martial arts training. (1st Dan - 10th Dan)
