- I feel the need to go back to the basic as some exercise, then I look back, why don't I continue my Starcraft portrait series?

So Heart of the Swarm is coming? Which leads me to a dilemma, should I go with Princess Luna as an Oracle instead? Nah, let's keep her Templar. In the end though, her DT design is a cross between the Oracle and the DT, seeing that it's a little hard attaching that mask on to her. Also I'm sure though that Luna is especially powerful if she's a Dark Templar - so let's throw her a psionic storm. DTs are now OP.

Now I gotta be honest, I'm no good when playing Protoss, not that I play them often anyway. So I'm not exactly sure how the Dark Templar plays. But I've seen a friend of mine utilise them in SC 1, and it's glorious.
After this, I'll also be attempting to remake Rainbow Dash in a banshee, and I'll make that one special ^^ After that though, I don't know if I will continue the SC Portrait series... Do you think I should?

It's clear that you have exceptional talent in the field of flash animation. And you do a great job of matching the various voice clips to the actions she's doing that it's hard not to imagine that she's really in the game.
I look forward to seeing what you do with other characters that have yet to be used by you, like Celestia or the CMC.
I love repeatedly clicking on the units in Star-craft, such fun. Luna is best Dark Templar. So awesome!

I think you should continue! These are great and maybe someone will eventually put them to use in a game/mod. That is my hope anyway.

Her portrait looks almost exactly like the actual portrait for the Oracle.
While you are technically asolutely right, without the puppet rigs of others, I'd have no idea how to build one in the first place. There are some ways of layering shapes to do things that I did not expect, and they are good learning tools. In a work situation though, you'd want to work with the person doing the building and rigging of course for a real project. On topic: This is marvelous!

yea.. I feels same, there no better role for Luna in StarCraft then dark templar, she lived in dark for many years, but, I think, when Luna meet Zeratul, he shows her how to concure darkness and gain more power to save world, and may be even universe. sorry for some errors I'm not perfect in english
now all that's left is to have Celestia as a high templar and my life will be complete

Not the dark temp attack sound. Sounds like a spine crawler attack.
unfortunately, these won't work in sc2 for technical reasons (models are actually 3d, even in the portraits). Believe me, we've tried to get this to work. People have put this in the regular starcraft though.

That 'swish' sound you're using is actually the sound that the Sunken Colony makes in the first Starcraft game when it attacks, not the 'swish'shew' sound of the Dark Templar attack. Nice animation, though.
