Interesting points made here. I think that you described the free-thinking attitude of the INFJ well. I believe that INFJ's can have very well developed Ti, so people who get to know us well can see us as being very logical. It's nice to hear your inside perspective on why INFJ's are paradoxical. It can be a topic that is difficult to verbalise, but you articulated it very clearly 😀👍
I know an ISFJ that has times when he can't be around anybody. Like he literally cannot stand it for a couple days. He'll have to take off work. But normally, he's the most caring in the office. Really thoughtful and talkative. There's another ISFJ I worked with that was awesome. She was really caring, and helped me anytime I needed. I've noticed in my little MBTI experience with other types that the ISFJ is the second most one I liked. The first was the ENFJ. Actually, admired him a lot. Talked about his feelings and was able to defend himself in any social situation with talking shit coworkers by being funny and honest. Stood up for me a lot too. I have my rare moments, but he was there most of the time.
I agree that ENFJ’s and ISFJ’s are wonderful people. My best friend is an ISFJ and they have the purest hearts. I also have an ENFJ coworker and I notice that when other people get to collectively complaining and being negative, she will insert something positive because she can’t stand the negativity.
