"We've fought everywhere, in every condition known, using weapons we've never dreamed of. But death is death and suffering is the same in every language."
It was an intentional decision from what I understood. Firstly, to get the message across of what the Second World War was and also to get players accustomed to driving tanks within the game. And what better tank to give you a taste than a Tiger I racing towards enemy positions in the North African desert.
I imagine the music around this duration 0:27 as the smokes are gone you suddenly saw large numbers of tiger tanks heading towards you slowly fading as they pass through the smokes
I remember playing this for the first time. At 1:27 came on right when I fired a round into the artillery cannon causing an explosion. It gave me some goosebumps. While historically the game is riddled with inaccuracies, the game developers put no expense on making you feel like you fighting an epic war that would change the fate of humanity forever.

Imponente canción para dar honor a un vehículo que resonará por los años y siglos.... Tiger..... La bestia

The historical accuracy is zero in this sequence, but my god, the BF theme made it superior...it's like the song is telling you to keep pushing!

I love that subtle note change in this version that makes the theme feel like there's imminent danger.
