7:07 I played a game of Breakthrough as the US, We annihilated them going in to the final sector, they defended it so well for about 20 Minutes and it got so bad that we only had less than 20 respawns left, I died at the top with the katana and some brave soul revives me, I went on a rampage, completely clearing out the top of enemies and with explosions and gunfire all over the place, we win and the music plays, ive never had such a massive sigh of relief in my life Only In Battlefield

I feel like this really does capture the heavy and metallic feeling of the American war machine crashing down on a beautiful island while the Japanese fight desperately to defend by any means
It’s kind of like looking upon the beach with all the devastation after the Japanese opened fire on the Americans, only 150 out of 900 survived the first day of fighting

This hands down is the best freaking intense music I’ve heard from this game so much adrenaline and effort over 9000 just to fight for that last sector
I absolutely love this OST, I can imagine big formations of ships, it's dark, foggy night, American radar onboard USS Helena picks up few distant targets, ships are getting ready to engage, it's almost 2AM, IJN and USN ships merge, a chaotic close range brawl ensues. American destroyers almost collided with an Allied light cruiser. USS San Francisco opens fire on an unknown ship, shells hit high, superstructure being shredded by 8 inch shells. It turns out that San Francisco fired at an Allied ship, USS Atlanta, a few minutes before that, Atlanta got hit by a torpedo. Battleship Hiei is under fire, she is disabled but still can fire, her shells hit San Francisco. Helena sinks a Japanese destroyer and then shifts her fire to the IJN Nagara. Man, I really love this OST
Cant hear this thing in my car anymore. In combination with good audiosystem (B&O in my case) this makes me to drive like mad. Its like neverending flow of pure energy ❤️
I remember one time, it wasn’t on Iwo Jima but it was Wake Island and I was the the Japanese team and we got pushed back to the last sector (it was breakthrough) and me and about 6 dudes hopped in a pillbox with machine guns and there were multiple other machine gunners around the objective and we actually managed to hold them off until the end of the game, we had to kill somewhere between 400-600 of them and they took the pillbox a couple times but we always took it back. One of my favorite battlefield matches I’ve played
I love the beginning of this, it makes it feel so surreal defending as the Japanese knowing the Americans are all charging up the mountain in pure desperation
This is so badass to listen to while driving a sherman tank to D or C to hold out when we have 10 tickets and they have 50, works same way with the type 97 with the high velocity cannon

I love when this music is playing especially when I'm flying the Corsair because I'm diving bombing straight towards the enemy at a fast speed with AA fire coming towards me while I'm trying to remove enemy infantry and armor to clear a path my brother's in green down there to capture the objective. But also watching my health slowly deplete as there are shots coming from my tail from a Japanese Zero. But I still follow through and clear out the enemy and out maneuver the Zero and take it out right before the match ends. I love battlefield!
Yo this part at the final minute everyone is on objective charlie and you are rushing and sliding through going fucking nuts and for just one mere moment you truly understand what those legends went through over 70 years ago now
I have a feeling that the music director/composers took inspirations from the Dunkirk soundtrack. I mean all the end of round themes have sounds similar to Dunkirik's music, especially Fjell, Arras, and Twisted Steel
I as a Medic once spammed GO GO GO command as I rushed into the cave to save as many fallen US soldiers as possible when music started kicking in. Finally got the flag waving on Mount Suribachi. 7:06 We won, but lost many souls.

I just played this map a couple of days ago. I was on the American side and my team was defending the A and B objectives with very little lives left as we were losing but we held the A and B objective strong. It was complete chaos as people were getting shot left and right while explosions were happening in the background. It was amazing and we ended up defending the objective to the bitter end. It was a sight to be seen.
Sector Taken. Clear out any remaining enemys. Sector Lost! Retreat! This is the final sector. Push to Victory! This is our last defense. Fend off the Enemy troops and win this!
As soon as you hear this music, you know things are going to start going sideways....and in a few minutes a lot of people are going to be angry! ... You just hope it won't be you..
