Thank you for this super in depth and clear video. 5:45 can you skip that part if you're not replacing the track rod end or tie rod ? Or do you need to remove it to replace a wheel bearing? Also, if you've not got that special tool you used there, what's the easiest way to release it please? That was a heck of a jolt! Also, 20:24 what would you use to remove the track rod if you don't have that fancy tool that goes over it? 47:07 Oh fella... it's definitely worth covering brand new components with a rag or something before removing the brake hose. Brake fluid dripping onto painted components is absolute shit, eats away at paint =/
It depends if you are replacing the bearing with everything still on the vehicle. I usually remove the entire steering knuckle and press the bearing out at the bench. ICON 17 in. S-Jaw Quick-Adjust Pliers Wrench from harbor freight makes quick work on those inner tie-rod ends Brake fluid, it will take time for paint that has been clear coated to get jacked up. It's best to wash with just water within the hour of contact.
Good point and yes, it was stuck up in the mounting post. Funny fact, I forgot to install it on the passenger side and found it after I finished torquing everything down.

Nick on the lower control arm did you put the rubber washer in before you installed the arm?
