If I was the ex-fiancé, I would DEFINITELY be filing for full custody of that baby. It’s the only way that kids stands a chance at having a normal life with a mother like that.
So parents have lost: one daughter, a son and future grandchild/grandchildren all for one overly spoiled and narcissistic adult child. I bet grandma had to keep her attendance at the wedding a secret as well. Ugh, what a horrible situation. So glad OP has a wonderful new family and lots of supportive friends.
You put it succinctly, these will be the same people who will wonder why their oldest daughter stopped calling and they have no relationship with her children
It's so bizarre when parents hold one kid up so fricking high like this when that kid is just spiralling. I'm so curious what's going on in their heads.
The poor ex-fiance who has to co-parent with OP's sister. Good luck dude. So happy for OP, life is great, enjoy every moment! You worked your ass off and deserve just the best!
I don’t know, I feel like the ex has a pretty strong case for full custody of the kid. Someone exhibiting the behaviors that the sister did paints a very telling picture.
My jaw is on the floor listening to this. (And I'm at the pool at the Y, so there's a danger of drowning.) Toxic doesn't begin to describe OP's parents and sister. I really hope she stays away from them forever and that they don't bother her ever again.
This one was really tough lol. I'm so happy everything worked out for the very best. Do not announce the name to the public and do not give up the no contact. Fantastic story!
Wait, WHAT? Give you my venue??? Nix, Nein, No, not only Hell No, but F&*K NO! Way to go at every turn OP. Happy to hear OP's life is going in a great direction and wish her and her new family all the best.
Ok I haven’t finished yet but at this moment I got so upset. 6:31 OP gets what she wants because she puts in the forethought, the work and the effort into making things happen. Nothing is just handed to you in this world (for most people) and the little sister is expecting OP to just accommodate her at her own expense. What a selfish sister. Throw her away. 11:10 and oh my gosh…her own mother and sister are such trash for going behind her back and trying to steal her day away. This is why you should not have favorites or treat your children differently. She raised the little sister to think she is entitled to everything. I would be livid.
OP is so lucky that the in-laws are good, decent people with common sense. FIL telling off OP's mom is just a moment to savor. The parents are getting what they deserve; a spoiled little girl whose baby they will be raising if the father doesn't file for custody (OP should let him know about the RO to help his case). So glad OP is getting to live happily ever after and away from those awful people!
“ Your poor planning is not my responsibility, I didn’t get you pregnant” It sounds like she worked hard and planned well and now her hard work is being punished? for working hard, and being smart and planning well?! tf She shouldn’t be breeding, is sister supposed to give up her savings for her baby when she’s pregnant when her now single mother sister can’t afford school tuition? or rent for probably more than one kid at that point because she ain’t good at planning is she…
I've heard this before , too. Not complaining. Wondering if you remember more to this? What follows is DEFINITELY a continuation I heard via Reddit, I think for this family but not sure... After this it eventually came to light that sister's pregnancy was NOT her fiance's and that's why she had wanted to rush to lock him down! Remember the nice future-BIL who apologized to OP for her sis trying to hijack her wedding? Yeah, him! OP's sis was cheating on him and he found out and dumped her. Planning to co-parent but THEN eventually found out baby isn't his. So, Wow that guy dodged a bullet! Does anybody else remember this or do I just have really excellent dreams or delusions? 😂
@@JW-vd4ilI don’t remember that part! I know there were many fake updates after she deleted her account when she posted she was pregnant. Other channels posted that the sister died, sister was arrested after vandalizing OP’s car, and the parents finding out she was pregnant to name a few. Although the sister sounds entitled enough to try and trap him.
@@Secretadmirerlol yeah, I dont know if it's true. I also am on both reddit and youtube so I cant guarantee I saw this from OP; who knows where I got this from. 😂 Good story, though, right? AND makes sense. For OP's sister's (ex?) fiance, I hope it is true!
@@JW-vd4il I am forever waiting for ex fiancé to post his story lol! I hope he isn’t the father because I bet OP’s sister and parents will make that child a mini version of her and no one wants to deal with that!
@@Secretadmirerlol I just hope it's true what I told you before what I had read or heard. Even based on OP's original post, he was nice. Oh no, don't say you're hoping to still hear from him. Makes me want to go on a reddit rabbit-hole manhunt. 😂
My cousin was like a younger sister to me growing up. A good soul, a real sweetheart. She has 2 daughters 2 yrs apart. When the older one (“Beck”) had a birthday, the little one (“Ash”) sang/clapped, ate cake, watched during presents, a good sweet little soul just like her mom. When Ash’s bday came, Beck sulked, teared up, pushed her way in front of little sis’s cake. Beck was born w/a jealous heart, main characteritis, a hole that needed more. Except her parents wrangled her in. She wasn’t allowed to act that way, it was just _in_ her. But the sisters love each other. They were just very different, after being raised very similarly. *Nature v. Nurture.* Sometimes it’s just nature and u can’t blame nurture
_"Sometimes it's just nature and you can't blame the nurture."_ Which is clearly not at all relevant in OP's story. You can see the parents enabling the sister every step of the way.
I heard this story initially on Charlotte Dobre’s channel (side note: I’d LOVE to see a Dusty/Charlotte collab!) and I’m absolutely flabbergasted at how some parents are able to do this to their kids. I just can’t. They’ll never be able to do anything on their own, and no one will want to be around them. I’m honestly shocked that I, a fairly attractive 20-year-old with strong values and not a complete bitch, can’t get a guy to text me back and people like this sister are able to con poor, unsuspecting, likely good men into marrying them. What a c**t. 12:37 I would LOVE a cooking party with friends and family for my wedding. That’s pretty much what my cousin and her hubby did for their rehearsal dinner. They loved my pasta salad lol but
10$ says the sister was never pregnant and made it up for attention to one-up op getting married and wanted to take that from her. My older sister would pull similar crap like this.
During the first part of this story, I thought perhaps the parents were applying excessive pressure to succeed. Then we got to part 2, and now I understand the entitled child comments. Holy crap.
And, the entitled parents have lost any chance of contact with their second grandchild ... it's a win for that baby as well. I imagine they would have played favourites with the grandchildren just as they did with their children.
My little brother hates me for no discernable reason, Like, NOBODY in the family gets it. He still attended my college graduation and pouted like an incredibly dramatic baby in every picture as revenge. Joke's on him: I happily show the pictures to people and we laugh about it.
Things bothered me: her aunt(I’m guessing mom’s sister) was the only one who took her side and then her brother, when he found out. I’m glad op found a wonderful partner and family.
This is what happens when you spoil a child from day one. They become mentally unstable monsters that were raised by completely mentally unstable parents that believe the child they chose is an angel (even when they cause property damage, create public chaos and theft).
OP completed her PhD while sister got closed out of her degree program and was seething with jealousy, but to continuously refer to sister as 'little sister' is misleading. Sister isn't 7 years old and unable to be happy for someone else's accomplishments; she's a grown woman, although extremely entitled, enabled and immature, so perhaps refer to her as 'younger sister' vs. 'little sister'. For a grown woman to behave so dramatically, so destructively, and so viciously because she's not the center of attention in any given moment should neither be tolerated nor condoned by anyone: especially a coddling mother demanding the only mature, sensible, down-to-earth daughter enable the brat by placating her during her tantrum. What a 3 ring circus this special occasion became all because of a personal pity party fueled by pathological jealousy of an older sibling's accomplishments. For the mother to insist that the accomplished daughter make a speech lauding her younger sister's 'accomplishments' on her own graduation day is degrading, insensitive, insulting and energy sucking. The younger sister's behavior seemed choreographed and maliciously intentional to steal OP's thunder, and the mother's behavior was petty, boorish and intolerable. To allow one child to ruin another child's once-in-a-lifetime celebratory day is unconscionable. I hope OP went NC with mother and sister after this.
If I was the ex-fiancé, I would DEFINITELY be filing for full custody of that baby. It’s the only way that kids stands a chance at having a normal life with a mother like that.

Only appropriate response to a spoiled golden child sibling like this is "I mean No, you wanna hear it in Spanish, NO."
I can tell them in French if they need it! Lol
Teen wolf
When the sister started to have a meltdown, I thought she was child. 😳

It's so cool that her brother stepped up like that. It probably meant more to her to have him walk her down the aisle too.
It's so bizarre when parents hold one kid up so fricking high like this when that kid is just spiralling. I'm so curious what's going on in their heads.
