It’s is impossible to play a game when the then enemy team has a Bake. I played a 43 min conquest the other day and he had 62,000 damage and mitigated over 160,000. Whoever signed off on his kit should serve at least 4 months in Sing Sing.
in solo, yes, as support, bake is often too squashy as you can burst him down. One good way to counter solo bake is to simply fight away from him, so unless you go for objective, you can simply bait him into ult, use the escapes and then keep him cced during the ult so he cant chase, if bake dives backline, the mages and adcs should just sit next to him in the inner circle to not be affected by the ult while spamming any cc they have
I got a penta and won the game for my team with vamana😂 it’s the most brainless god to use cause he’s so easy. Pair him with emblem and you stick to your opponents like glue.
Oh. I didn’t even realize vamana was buffed. It’s funny to me when he is meta. Have the goofiest games where team fights are decided by “did vamana get a good ult?”
The issue with surtr is that his lack of mobility and not having any way to remove slows and roots other than ulting makes it so easy to get away from him as long as you're playing a backliner with a dash or with a reliable way to slow him down, the best backliners you can pick into surtr are thoth and agni for mid, and anhur for adc. In the other hand, he is literally the highest damage output warrior in the game if you manage to stack your 1 decently (at min 15 in solo you should be around 45-50 for a decent game, at min 30 you should have around 85-90 stacks at least). Btw don't build breastplate of vigilance, pridwen or dawnbringer on surtr since the effect procs as soon as you go up to the sky so you lose a lot of value from those items when you're falling
I love playing Vamana, but my single nitpick about the character is that there is no counter play for his ult as a support. He’s CC immune, so you can’t do much in terms of peel for your squishies. AND VAMANA CAN WALK THROUGH PLAYER MADE WALLS, so you can’t even play Ymir or Thor or Ganesh or Yemoja and block him off! THEY NEED TO REMOVE THE ABILITY FOR HIM TO WALK THROUGH PLAYER MADE WALLS. You can emblem him, which won’t slow his CC immune ass, but that’s about it right now. If he ults, he cannot die and he cannot be stopped.
He can body block in ult, yet he can walk through walls. This is so true. If they allow him to be blocked by walls I would have 0 issue with him. I agree that the walking through walls problem is the single biggest advantage he has that makes him ridiculous to handle as solo and even jungle
Who do you think would win \ will do a better job as a Solo & Tank? 1. Bellona or any AA Warrior with the new equinoux item, qin, and etc 2. Surtr \ Mulan with Ability base & CD & Protections build? I played both, and I can't decide! AA warriors has insanely high DPS, but lack a real burst. Ability based Warriors - I did with Mulan with 200 Protections: 2300 dmg in less than 2-3 seconds
@@Dwr12187 if memory serves you proc it with ability dmg. For some reason mystical mail hits and triggers that text even tho its just magical dmg being applied not ability
crazyyyyyy, no shiva mention at all? yeah he isnt top 5 but he is so useful with his kit...great sustain/solid damage...early game his ult literally resets him back to full health and mana it does fall off late game but CC immunity still big...double dash with a knockup and pull in -coming from a top 10 ranked shiva (smurkish3)
One more reason to hate the whale is when he applies the 20% damage reduction on you, he can use horrific on you to apply 30% damage reduction in total.. all of this in an AoE that can hit your entire team AND while he builds super tanky.
I saw a game with olorun ult, whale ult, and baka ult It makes you disgustingly slow to where if you don’t have beads you may as well take your hands off the buttons
I dig the list, I do think Osiris dompsters most of this list still just because of how bloated his kit is with anti heal, slow, stun, and damage mitigation. I've had a ton of luck with Osiris into Vamana specifically with Qin's and his ult having 100% anti heal.
True but the list isn’t based on the gods 1v1ing remember, while he is a 1v1 menace the lack of team fight potential is why he isn’t on here, really doesn’t offer much in team fights compared to other solos mentioned
In your opinion Weak3n, would you put Shiva as a good solo/support pick? Ive seen it in my experience do well against whale and osiris, just for the double knockup, prot shred and attack speed debuff. Also I've seen do well into Bellona and hunters due to the mitigation and block stacks in his 3.
Yeah I agree the mystical mail that late is weird. It can pop off but you need to live a long time for it to get a lot of value. I like it early for clear and pressure, the earlier the better but getting it fourth just doesn't seem that worth it unless you are really far ahead, but at that point pretty much anything can win.

Yes. Phalanx is insanely good for AA-focused gods. One stop shop for attack speed and phys prots. Broken item rn, it's crazy it didn't receive any changes.
Building prophetic is fine if your support it building it too. The prots and damage mitigation are too good to pass up and it’s easy as hell to stack on Bake.
