Hell make that an improved ult where she leaps up onto the ceiling like she does since thats very spider like, and when she leaps down, not only does she make the web ground, but the target she lands on is stunned as she bites and claws them. I would not mind waiting for arachne to be one of the last gods released before the full launch if they upgrade her to be more unique and spider like
I hope I don't have to wait too long for Heimdallr, I get that he's probably not the most popular hunter but I think that he's really unique and fun to play as well as having a really well designed kit that can express a player's skill really well. Also, for Guardians i think Maui is more likely than Kuzenbo.

I'm a beginner smite player who ended up picking up skadi, wukong, and Nezha as they're some of my favorite mythological/fictional characters. I hope to see at least one of my main picks to make it in!
I can appreciate that it will take a lot of time to have all the gods remade essentially in the new game, but I feel like 2/month is going to take so longgg to get all our favorite gods added.Starting with 50 (with 5 being brand new) and collectively adding only 24 old gods per year X.X
If you watch the announcement of smite 2 you can see susano on their computer as if they was working on him so I feel like he’s always gonna be a playable pretty soon
idk if you’ve touched on this but are there any gods you think they should use this as a chance to revamp? either majorly or smaller like a move or passive? i’d really like to see old persephone passive reimplemented
Personally I have to believe that every Pantheon will be represented in the new game. Meaning that Cthulhu has to be a 100% and either Chern or Baba will be an addition. And i truely believe that one of the mages will be The Morrigan, alowing new players to play her early on with a smaller roster will boost their understanding of every god and continue to boost their knowledge as more are released plus her ult might be the most unique in the game and she fills the role of a semi assassin mage.
I really hope chang’e and sol make it in I’m just afraid with the changes to items that some characters that I play won’t be good when they separate auto attack and ability damage with mages
9:32 This aged poorly 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I agree with your pics for the most part, but I do have some things: Janus will proabbly not be in the first roster, as I think they may want to put a more well known god there like Poseidon or Hades. Jing Wei got a skin so she may be in the roster actually. For assassins, I think Mercury being well known will also make it, but whether he gets rebranded into Hermes, that will be another question.
I'm pretty sure one of the guys said in patchnote show that gods revealed via skins will be there on launch, so that means Jing Wei, Sol, Yemoja, Fenrir, Susano I think was in the dev footage in the keynote.
My friend was talking to Sam and one of the devs at the event and he said they want to add gods that have gameplay mechanics used on other gods, so with loki all invis gods are easier to add, jing wei makes ot easier for apollo and so on he said its likely when they have all the existing mechanics in the game they can add more than 2 gods a month later on.
i assumed (by the way they talk about her) hecate would be a hunter, but it did occur to me that she's probably a mage adc, and it would be pretty stupid for the godess of magic not to be a mage. or is that nut I'm thinking of
I’m hoping that with smite 2 being built from the ground up they bring smite 1 gods back as their reverted state like Nox, erlang, pers, etc! That would be amazing
@@WendyWhaleiams everyone knew how to dodge her flowers, the explosion was kinda nice yes, but the burst damage from her current 2 is just stronger. overall she is just a lot more controllable. the only thing i´d change about her kit is make her 1 go through walls
My 10k worshipper tyr and 9k mercury are the 2 I really hope makes it in release or early on. So much fun to play either constantly aggressive tank, or one shot monster with crit. those 2 gos will always be my favorites. Cant wait either way
Sol, Zeus and Susano are pseudo confirmed as there is a part in the keynote where a bunch of gods in a circle during one of the development sections, Zeus and Susano were in that circle. Sol is somewhere else in that trailer, but as of writing this I cant look at it
I really hope these predictions hold true, since Baron Samedi is my all-time favorite character in Smite, with Sun Wukong coming in at a very close second!
Im really hoping that in smite 2 we have another support playstyle that isn't tank and CC. I think aphro at the end of this year is close, but I think smite has always had potential for an enchanter support, with so many unique stats there needs to be a character that can buff and/or debuff teammates and enemies to fill that support role. So many stats where a character can give one or a combination of (power, pen, attack speed, movement speed, protections, minion buffing etc) to support your team and not have it be oppressive or feel boring. I'm really hoping the start to dabble in this, especially with how the intelligence and power is changed on items.
I know that they traditionally just pick gods to be in the game but at this point we have a lot of examples of more fairy tale or just generally mythological figures being in smite so with that said these are my hopes for new smite characters. Warrior: Petrocules, Assasin: Kitsune, Guardian: New cosmic horror, Hunter: ROBIN HOOD!
You forgot about my assassin boy Fenrir with his massive tons of bonus damage with his Runes. I love playing Bellona, Mulan, Sun Wukong, and even Surtr(although I played him once), but i also feel like you should have added a few others, like Tyr the friendly God of War, or the Shiva. You should've mentioned my girl Tiamat with her massive tons of Magical damage and the minions she can summon ranging from serpents, minotaurs, and torrents of wind. Heck, even Hel and Merlin. Not to mention Tia was mentioned in the lore with a special bond with Nut. As for Hunters, you forgot about Ishtar, Martichoras, and my boy Cernunnos, the God of Animals. And finally, as for Guardians, you forgot about Sobek, Atlas, and my boys, Jörmungandr and Ganesha. Speaking of Geb, he should definitely be involved since his girlfriend is.
Something I’m wondering is if they’ll move gods to different classes, because of the change of power types. It’s annoyed me for a while that Ao Kwang is a mage despite being an assassin that does magic damage, Maman adding to that annoyance, and I’ve assumed that’s had to do with separation of magic and physical. Sol and Olorun are sort of annoying for the same reason, but they thematically work as Mages.
I wonder if they will do something special for god mastery. Not necessarily carry over but something to show you put in the work and hours for said gods?
I believe one criteria the devs will have to give the player base just to ensure there is not a panic it that each pantheon gets one slot on the starting roster. Because if any pantheon is missing reps that will give fear to where that pantheon stands in the future.
I kinda want them to rework Arachne a bit too if and when she gets put into the game. Maybe change her cocoon stun ability with a leap of some sort where she swings from a web and then targets somewhere to land (similar to Maui) and if she lands on an enemy she can auto that enemy a few times and put them in the cocoon. Could even give her the ability to activate her 1 (i forget if its the one or the two that is a DoT ☠️) while shes up there similar to her ult. Would also be cool if she could spawn her little spider minions when she lands out of her ultimate but that might be over-tuning her a bit at that point
Hmmm, I think there is more to it that Hi-Rez have to think about. Not only do they have to have accessible and iconic characters for the newer players, they'll have to include as many pantheons as possible in these choices to demonstrate the variety that they'll ultimately have. Then they have to factor in how long the god has been released previously as they'll want to include a variety of those too, classics and newcomers. I've rambled, yet likely underthought it at the same time.
I Think atlas is a good shout for a guardian over kuzenbo or sylvanus, I think Atlas has much more pop culture appeal, so i can see him being there for recognition of players giving the game a shot, hes also easy to play as so more likely people will have fun and stay around
That appears to be a large part of why certain gods are coming. Many of the confirmed ones so far are very popular. Though a few aren't so they clearly are considering other things like playstyle representation and such
I just got into this game yesterday lol sad because now I have to wait before I can buy any skins but I’m super excited for smite 2! I can’t believe how good this game actually is
While I have mastered over 90 gods and have maybe 12- 15 diamond gods, sobek was the first God I played and instantly fell in love with the game. I would be so sad to not see him return.
they confirmed skins for gods like aphrodite and others in a pic when talking about new/carry over skins... so my guess theyll be part of launch that were included in that image.
Even though I never play as these gods, I do love plating against them: would like to see Poseidon, Discordia, Cupid, Hades, Odin, Scylla, XBalanque sooner rather than later.
I main Chang'e and I'm just praying they're thinking 'well Chang'e is easy, maybe new players will enjoy her.' But honestly, she needs an update/rework imo, and she has for years. It's crazy to me how they changed a slippery, high mobility, low cooldown, short range battle mage into a feast or famine, blink in and 1 shot or don't mage. I just always feel icky locking her in because... why would you???
I stopped playing smite shortly after the Cthulhu release. This has me interested in this game even though it infuriates me sometimes. Edit: I hope we get Cerberus back I need my boy
Likely the try to launch with 1 god for every pantheon. I doubt nut will be available for alpha but Cherbourg will likely be there. Simple kit and more well known.
I am in the mind that most of my favourite gods, the likes of Tiamat and MLF will not be there at launch, and likely won't be there for some time. But damn, am I confident that when they do arrive, they'll be even more enjoyable than their Smite 1 counterpart. I am content on waiting, but man, this switch to Smite 2 will be painful at first, but will bare more fruit than Smite 1 eventually. Also regarding the Magical adc thing, Sol already has a crossgen skin. So it's likely she'll be there.
Unless Nut is the "Smite 2 roster god" for the hunters, I think you are spot on. I've been wondering if the other 4 gods they announced with Hecate are going to be the S11 gods, but there's no way to confirm or deny that. So its just a theory
Damn, I didn’t know they were finally adding Hecate and Nut to Smite. Do they have trailers already or is that going to be saved for Smite 2? Also, imagined if they told us they were going to release 50 deities at launch, but hit the player base with 60 instead. 2 more additions for each class.
The big thing is that I really hope that they get rid of their current class descriptions and do something new with it like League because when new people start the game and see an overabundance of mages and you have to sit there and explain which of them are assassins, fighters, adcs etc it shows theres room for improvement and now that items aren't limited we should come up with new classifications for the characters.
I dont mind this because ive wanted smite with og gods for a while now. Im just sad because they did the runescape crossover so well, i dont want it gone
I don’t think support mages are going to be building tank in Smite 2 it looks I think they are making items specifically for them this go around. If they are smart they will also I think all assassins are going to be group together no separation since everyone can build anytime of damage.
Unfortunately we might not got Thanatos at launch but if we do that would be hype knowing he is my main hopefully he has the same ability’s that would be fire
Apollo would be a better pic than Artemis. Considering his like extreme popularity in the earlier of smite era and the fact that you know him barracuda look exactly the same no I am more partial to AMC or X ball. Also Zeus is more likely to be one of the Mages as they've already shown that they're working on his kit as is which was part of the dev trailer or Dev talk thing
Honestly in terms of Gods on release I'd have at least one more AA Warior - probably Amaterasu - because appart from Bellona there are no true AA Warrior in the roster. And I'd swap Surtr for her. As for the Hunters obviously Jing Wei has been confirmed but I'd say there's a chance for a true ability hunter to be added - considering people's feelings towards Marti I'd say Chiron is the most likely to be added (scratch that last part if Nut is a true ability hunter). As for the mages I don't see a world in which Scylla is not there on release. She's pretty much one of the most balanced Mage that is always somewhat relevant to dominant, people love her and she's pretty easy to play. I'd swap Janus for Scylla. For the Assassins I'd say Mercury is probably more likely to be there on release than Nem. There aren't really anyone in the Assassin roster that is build for crit, so Mercury would fill in that spot quite nicely. And of course Fenrir to replace Ravanna. Finally for the guardians, Yemoja has been confirmed - i'd probably swap Yemo for Kuzenbo. I would be really surprised as well if Maui isn't there, not because he's that good or played but because he's been so heavily featured in everything they've done since his release (like in the animated movies they do) and he'd probably replace Charon. Cthulu being there as a Solo Guardian is plausible but I think Jorg is a bit more popular ? He's definitely more played that Cthulu so it's either Cthulu gets a rework or Jorg is added IMO. I also think it's highly likely that each god added this year will be there on release - it's probably much easier to design a god for both games at the same time rather than working on a new god and also all the other gods you have to include in Smite 2.
I just hope that they don't intend to leave out Chernobog, Chronos or Cu Chulainn. I neeeeeeed them to be there. Not necessarily right at launch, but at some point. Luckily, Yemoja is already confirmed so I have at least one character I like returning. I hope you're right about Khepri and Sylvanus being in the game early on.
I really hope Ziz comes at some point, but I kinda don't want him to be a guardian it feels like they make most monsters guardians, just because they're monsters. Personally I'd want him to be either an assassin or a warrior
Depending on when S2 will be officially released I'd think that any god released in year 11 will included at launch. It makes sense to me that they'd be developed in tandem or developed for S2 but downgraded to S1. So it will probably have 2 'new' gods for each role with 8 returning. I think Cupid or Chiron will be at launch for hunters. I can't see a world where Poseidon wasn't there at launch. Kraken is too iconic and would be too amazing looking in Unreal 5 to not have, they'd be too stupid to not have him right at the start. I actually think Sobek would be there in place of Sylvanus. Honestly Sylvanus doesn't feel great to play but can see him having an updated kit as a showcase for what they've done. Still think Sobek but not if Sylvanus has a rework.
New gods in my guesses might be the following: Kronus, The God Devouring Titan. I want that Tahm Kench like Gameplay kit of his Sekmeth, the Goddess of Famine Anansi, the Spider God of west African myth (new pantheon plss) Hanuman, the Monkey God from hindu myth Fujin the Japanese god of wind (unlikely because it might get claimed my MK universe) Circe of greek (good for mage role but i think hecate took that place already. We can still hope) Enkidu from Babylonian myth so that Gilgamesh can reunite with his man wife. Perseus, Slayer of Monsters for the demigod type That's it. Plus points if i predicted at least one of them
@@shiningamaterasu2579MK can’t object anyways lmfao. You can’t claim a Japanese myth as your property simply because you made a character inspired by it.
I’d get rid of rat and ravana and say that Bastet/awilix/Susano are probably more likely. Yemoja is confirmed, she has a cross gen skin. And I’m hoping that Demeter is the new guardian and that instead of her being put into the year 11 lineup they just wait and flesh her out for the new game.
I think you're ignoring one thing, probably they have been developing the recent gods from smite 1 together with those on smite 2, so probably some of the recent releases will be in smite 2 as well. Not gods from year 11 tho, if they flop with some of them the player base would have to deal with gods they don't like and hirez won't have the time to replace them. Also merlin and geb will probably be a thing, they'll add nut probably so geb must be in there, merlin is just merlin

I feel they’d want to add Jormangandr just because of his uniqueness as well. His ult in Unreal 5 would be so cool
We need ACHILLES and APHRODITE. the beauties
Zeus is mentioned in the Smite 2 store page on Xbox
I’m pretty sure Nut will also be there, either right away or as one of the first gods released.
cnt wait for Nut mains to ask for Nut in ranked like ''Give me Nut''
I really hope chang’e and sol make it in
I’m just afraid with the changes to items that some characters that I play won’t be good when they separate auto attack and ability damage with mages
9:32 This aged poorly 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I agree with your pics for the most part, but I do have some things: Janus will proabbly not be in the first roster, as I think they may want to put a more well known god there like Poseidon or Hades.
Jing Wei got a skin so she may be in the roster actually.
For assassins, I think Mercury being well known will also make it, but whether he gets rebranded into Hermes, that will be another question.
Hopefully he has a revamped kit
I'm pretty sure one of the guys said in patchnote show that gods revealed via skins will be there on launch, so that means Jing Wei, Sol, Yemoja, Fenrir, Susano I think was in the dev footage in the keynote.
I know no one likes her, but I need Hel. She is my fav.
About the Divine Legacy section, the devs said that skins in year 11 confirm gods for launch (or maybe for near launch?)
Crit Ymir is coming back
i assumed (by the way they talk about her) hecate would be a hunter, but it did occur to me that she's probably a mage adc, and it would be pretty stupid for the godess of magic not to be a mage. or is that nut I'm thinking of
Nut
I’m hoping that with smite 2 being built from the ground up they bring smite 1 gods back as their reverted state like Nox, erlang, pers, etc! That would be amazing
I will be obsessed if Persephone gets her old kit back
as a 44 star persephone i can say it would be terrible if they revert her
@@persephone9084 44 stars is crazy!
@@persephone9084 but why do you think that the revert would be so bad?
@@WendyWhaleiams everyone knew how to dodge her flowers, the explosion was kinda nice yes, but the burst damage from her current 2 is just stronger. overall she is just a lot more controllable. the only thing i´d change about her kit is make her 1 go through walls
My 10k worshipper tyr and 9k mercury are the 2 I really hope makes it in release or early on. So much fun to play either constantly aggressive tank, or one shot monster with crit. those 2 gos will always be my favorites. Cant wait either way
0:41 My Colchis Goddess HECATE
I hope we get reverted Persephone back in smite 2
Persephone was overpowered in her old kit. They need to make her different.
Oh that makes me happy. Seeing Thana and Susano have high chances to be added on release!! Nice
I'm pretty sure Zeus will make it into the alpha
I wonder if they will do something special for god mastery. Not necessarily carry over but something to show you put in the work and hours for said gods?
It's confirmed there will be a badge system of some sort to honor your mastery with said god.
@@themightyruler1319 Nice to hear they are respecting the time we put into it!
If Scylla doesn't show up, I'm actually going to weep. I doubt Chernobog will so that I'll just accept with tears in my eyes.
I am on my knees, begging for a Scylla with updated visuals on launch
In my opinion the bvasic soulution would be to just look at the playrate/class and program the top playrate gods into Smite 2
Or rework the low play rate gods and make them semi new releases
That appears to be a large part of why certain gods are coming. Many of the confirmed ones so far are very popular. Though a few aren't so they clearly are considering other things like playstyle representation and such
I just got into this game yesterday lol sad because now I have to wait before I can buy any skins but I’m super excited for smite 2! I can’t believe how good this game actually is
My boi Merc gotta speed his way in
Hopefully with a better kit
I doubt Jorm will make the initial roster, though I really hope he does. I want my big snek boi, lol.
I need aphrodite with these new graphics asap
Just recently started playing smite again, returning from 2019 and i’ve been maining Arachne so i’m really hoping she makes the cut sooner than later.
Likely the try to launch with 1 god for every pantheon. I doubt nut will be available for alpha but Cherbourg will likely be there. Simple kit and more well known.
So excited for Hecate I’ve wanted her for so long!! ❤ fun fact her name actually rhymes with Aphrodite and Persephone
I'd imagine it would be the most popular gods
Unless Nut is the "Smite 2 roster god" for the hunters, I think you are spot on. I've been wondering if the other 4 gods they announced with Hecate are going to be the S11 gods, but there's no way to confirm or deny that. So its just a theory
Damn, I didn’t know they were finally adding Hecate and Nut to Smite. Do they have trailers already or is that going to be saved for Smite 2?
Also, imagined if they told us they were going to release 50 deities at launch, but hit the player base with 60 instead. 2 more additions for each class.
The description on the PS5 trailer for smite 2 mentions Medusa and Thor (but maybe it doesn't mean anything)
You’re videos are so packed with information thank you so much bro ! It helps a lot !!!!!!!
I don’t think support mages are going to be building tank in Smite 2 it looks I think they are making items specifically for them this go around. If they are smart they will also I think all assassins are going to be group together no separation since everyone can build anytime of damage.
jing wei alr has a skin in the legacy pass along with bellona she’ll probably be there to
Havent played smite in ages, am so hyped for this but hope they will release Cliodhna asap
Unfortunately we might not got Thanatos at launch but if we do that would be hype knowing he is my main hopefully he has the same ability’s that would be fire
Today they confirmed Zeus for smite 2
Damn straight about baron flexing on the tank spot.
Sol was confirmed yesterday during the live patch note thx to her crossover skin
They'll all return at some point within a couple of years.
@@Inters3ct Oh, sweet. Thank you.
Jing Wei already has a cross-gen skin, so I am pretty sude she will be in the Smite 2
I'm still fairly new to Smite but Chang'e is my favorite mage, hoping she releases sooner than later
Chiron and Pos are pretty likely yeah, could definitely be at launch if not then soon after.
Great video! These are perfect predictions
Full stop.
What's that background music? Is that maplestory??
New gods in my guesses might be the following:
Kronus, The God Devouring Titan. I want that Tahm Kench like Gameplay kit of his
Sekmeth, the Goddess of Famine
Anansi, the Spider God of west African myth (new pantheon plss)
Hanuman, the Monkey God from hindu myth
Fujin the Japanese god of wind (unlikely because it might get claimed my MK universe)
Circe of greek (good for mage role but i think hecate took that place already. We can still hope)
Enkidu from Babylonian myth so that Gilgamesh can reunite with his man wife.
Perseus, Slayer of Monsters for the demigod type
That's it. Plus points if i predicted at least one of them
to solve the issue with Fujin, Just use the other name the god goes as Fūten or Ryobu.
MK and the neatherrealm team cant object if they do that
@@shiningamaterasu2579MK can’t object anyways lmfao.
The morrigan, heim and cthulu are my favorites. I hope they make it
I am very excited for my main Tiamat to come to smite 2 but as she is not very popular at all I don't think she'll be in any time soon.
