The team management failed to return favour sabotaging his opportunities throughout the season. Check top speed on this film starting at 1:30. Clock stops at 315 for RK. GR goes up to 320 km/h. Just one of many examples.

Sabotaging was used in conjunction with opportunities which if you followed the season progression you would know what happened with steering wheel requested changes and other key part deployments or retiring KUB just to save the car in one race. With the speed part you are correct about lifting the acceleration, but pay attention what happens when both reached 315 mark... For me, at this stage, it's no point to drag this argument. I will certainly hope to hear some truth about his stint at Williams. Time shows they were poorly managed for years and we're sold just the next season. I wish Russell every success and trust he can show his talent fighting for podiums in a near future.

Kubica is now in DTM and is doing a great job dragging an actually uncompetitive car to good points and even a podium and beeing Alfas Test driver also meening he is in a better environment than at williams. Both drivers are great, probably in top 5 definitely 10. However, the first minute of this recording exposes how huge problems are with the grip of these cars. Look at the distance to opponents just after a few corners. You can also see how much Kubica struggles with keeping his car on the line, more than Russel does. These are two different cars, and everyone in paddock knows that, except of brit tabloids. But I fully understand that - it would be similar in polish tabloids if this was a polish team. The team strategy would also be to assure that the national driver is # 1, gets all the newest parts, the latest spec engine, and due to huge problems with spare parts, maybe also pull out the other driver "to save parts". There is a serious management problem starting of the top down to the bottom. It is not a single element problem, but a serious systemic issue. The season started with a disaster - Williams unable to deliver the car for tests, then dismissal of the key management personnel, exodus of engineers... I am impressed that Williams still has a spirit to race, so despite of being huge fan of #RK88, I wish this team to recover soon and George a great career and a fair competition with the best.

Russell is probably faster due to his routine of driving open wheel cars were Kubica quitted for 7 years, despite of testing cars for williams. The first races were quite compareable but then Russell got mainly the newer parts where kubica had to deal with the old ones. The gap increases and mostly british people thinks that Kubica is rubbish, and mostly polish fans are trying to defend Kubica and. Both great drivers, Kubica is a Legend and Russell could be a Legend in the future too. Appreciate it!
