Hey Erik - is a video at Mo Willy in the cards? out of the city of Austin courses, it's probably the best these days. it would be Kizer if they could get the greens in decent shape.
Not only do you add a stroke because the ball moved but because you made a swing towards the ball with intent of hitting it. Even if it DIDNT move your intention was to hit the ball and would require an added stroke to your card. Just a little FYI.
Have you considered leaving the driver in the bag and using your 3H instead? They seem to go the same distance, but you’re a lot more accurate with the 3H
Hope he is looking at the tee shot practice swings and contrasting them with the ‘baby cut’ swing when the ball is there. Funny how we know we are all doing something like that but don’t have the evidence on tape.
Man that quad bogey on a par 3 after a good hole hits too close to home for me. Last Saturday I hit a 5 iron about 170 yards out to within 10 feet to make my third birdie ever. The very next hole was a 170-yard par 3 and I chunked the 5 iron about 40 yards and ended up making a 7. I honestly don't know the last time I made a 7 on a par 3, but I know it had to do with the birdie on the previous hole.
only course i have ever seen where all 18 holes play into the wind lol
