The fighting here is incredible. Honestly on the level of the PT they nailed it

The choreography crew were effing stacked for this show. They’re worked on stuff like kingsman, Shang chi and John wick

Every single one of those movies have the best choreographies considering their respective universes : Kingsman’s uses the tech and martial arts perfectly, Shang Chi uses Kung Fu + Magic to a really nice balance and John Wick is just borderline insane with realistic aspects. Where were these guys when we needed them for the sequels lol
Imagine the choreographer collabs with nick gillard that would be dope this choreographer has more in depth and intricate movements but not enough of long but interesting, fast, and raw back and forth dueling like we got from nick, what i liked in the prequels was how long they would go back and forth clashing without annoying cuts shaky cameras or dark scenery where its hard to see but this was still dope everything the choreographer did was a great touch

I was cheering for Qimer the whole time, any Jedi who sees a Sith must die, this was very consistent, I am curious as to what will happen now that Mae is posing as Ohsa.
I have not been a fan of the show thus far at all, and I really didn't expect them to kill them all off like this so I was pleasantly surprised. This lines up the plot and timeline nicely if they really end up killing off all witnesses. The dialogue is still abysmal tho and cringey for lack of a better word and doubt it's going to change half way through the story but at least the plot is starting to make sense.
But that qimer was the sith with the Maske was one anybody had looked true after episode 2 just like saurons identity in Lord of the rings

The Parent Trap antics are just annoying. Sol should have been able to recognize that Mae’s Force signature was not Osha’s. Swing and a miss. Manny Jacinto is an awesome actor, but I would much rather have had him in full Sith mode from the start than wasting all this time on a big reveal that came as a surprise to no one. This show has elements of potential but the execution is a hot steaming mess.
Qimir annihilated four Jedi. Five if you count the one Osha sees when she trips.
Is that in contention for most on screen jedi kills along with Vader and Palpatine?

Vader has killed Cin Drallig, Obi Wan, Dooku(former jedi idk if that counts), Cere(if you count on screen game kills)
Technically if you mean only shows and movies, Vader has the least kills

In all honesty that thing he does to thier lightsabers with his helmet and wrist is so cool
So lightsabers can cut through 12 inch carbon steel blaster doors with ease but bounce off his helmet? NO, this show is embarrassing, Disney know NOTHING about lightsabers… and you’re also a fool.
He’s likely wearing cortosis, a metal that has that (when purely refined) has the ability to not only to deflect lightsaber blades, but to temporarily short circuit them too.

I know a lot of people said that he could have been killed 20 times, but I only saw a couple openings, and for a fight of this length that's a very small nitpick to be complaining about.

@@jonmurphy4889 he's a Sith. No random dark-sider is as powerful as him. The Sith of this era are the Banite-Sith, they follow Darth Bane's Rule of Two. A master and a apprentice. Once the apprentice grows powerful enough, they will take their master's place and have their own apprentice. And they must pick their apprentice knowing they must have the Force potential to surpass them. This ensures the Sith continuously grow stronger.
My bet: Qimir is the Sith apprentice and is searching for an Acolyte -- his own apprentice. Then Qimir can then kill his master and take their place, with the acolyte then being promoted to Sith Apprentice.
And yeah, every Jedi that knows of the Sith has to die now.

@@nathanskywalker1536 Plus, none of the Jedi during the High Republic Era had ever fought a Sith or other Force user opponents in equal strength since the Old Republic, similar to the majority of Jedi during the Prequel and Clone Wars.

We've had it I'm canon for a while. In the new Thrawn novels it is mentioned a few times.

For those of you who are unaware cortosis was able to take any type of energy and redirect it across it's molecular structure. Kind of like black panthers suit. Cortosis wasn't metal tho it's a fibrous material so it had to be woven onto whatever you wanted to be energy resistant.
His helmet shouldn't have broken tho so we got a cool as fight but still plot holes😂😂
It's probably more like a coating of cortosis hence why it eventually breaks
I love the inclusion of the cortosis armor in this episode. Was something I wasn’t expecting and it worked really well.

He killed four Jedi in the scene...
He was fighting 5, these four died instantly, Yord died later.
Impressive. But not the greatest a sith has done. Vader was killing 10’s of masters during operation knightfall.
Honestly the best part of this show is that Sith Lord.

I love Qimirs design. Cortosis armor was a great idea, I was shocked when he cut down 2 of the main characters. I love Sol. To be honest, I was kind of cheering for Qimir the whole time, he's just cool.

The best lightsaber duels after the prequels
And beautiful saber trails was well. In the sequels and other Star Wars series the saber glow looked odd, as if it almost didn't have any trails when they moved. Either that or they were too dim. Here it looks perfect.

I think the upfront negativity was a problem. I am glad i ignored it.
Me personally I was never entertained by the first few episodes. I never thought them controversial or terrible just kind of boring and okay but episode 4 ending caught my interest and episode 5 was finally an episode I enjoyed.
I enjoyed it from the first episode. People hated this show for no reason. It has its problems but they didn't even tell about real problems

Completely agree. I understand some reasonable criticisms but Star Wars has had a lot of instances where it wasn’t perfect at all even pre Disney. A lot of people have just fallen into the mindset of “screw just about everything Disney puts out” when really some of it has actually been pretty banger
Rightfully so...because it was so boring and filled with useless woke plot. This is what star wars is about...lightsaber fights. They needed a better setup to speed up this episode ...the whole first half of the show was so cringe

Its better than Episode 8 thats for sure. But theres definitely some issues with it. Mostly the stuff that messes with other cannon, and theres some lazy writing/dialogue but thats been a thing for a while, even before the show. Im gona watch all 8 before I decide if I like it or not. When we have the whole picture. But so far Im equal parts enjoying it and rolling my eyes with some wtf moments.
Qimir is saving the show right now. But im sorry Osha and Mae(I know they are the same actress) are just cringe with their acting. That final interaction between the two was the most emotionless thing Ive ever seen. I was kind of hoping one of them would die in the show or both and just make the focus on the jedi vs qimir and his master.

Great fight honestly, best choreography I’ve seen from Star Wars so far, look at the fight with the padawan and qimir, like bro they both moved fast as heck, the strikes were well targeted, heavy hitting, it just looks great.
Say what you like about this show but you have to admit this lightsaber battle was amazing and well done.

They have no experience thus are far weaker than the jedi of that vader fought. And you forget that while attacking the temple vader killed hundreds of jedi plus by the time he fought those jedi he was still learning
