There were a great deal of thirst for Han, Leia and Luke in the OT. There were a lot of thirst for Ewan McGregor and Hayden, and Natalie Portman in the prequels. The only period there's been no thirst is the sequel series, other than those Reylo weirdos.
We need a new or returning Darth Traya ... there must always be a Darth Traya ... a villain who hates the force, blaming it for the cycle of control and manipulation of life and wants to kill it as a means of freeing the universe which would in turn force the light and dark to team up against their natures in order to save it.
I mean, was Palpatine a surprise? Most of the show is crud, but this part isn't really an issue. The surprise is more about Manny Jacinto's acting range and ability to code switch more than Qimir being the Sith. Everyone knows Palpatine was Sidious just like everyone knew Qimir is Smilo Ren. It's still interesting to watch it.
I think the problem is actually the opposite of that. I'm old enough to remember better Star Wars shows. Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to comment though... I know high-school/college is a hectic time. Good luck
I love Star Wars. I love it's EU and the canon. I've seen every make of Sith. Every make of Jedi. What makes both tick and what makes the clock unravel. Nothing compares to the ignorant fans that know NOTHING about Star Wars and what their ignorance would mean for the actual lore. This show is the best representation of what a Sith actually is. A condemnation of the Jedi. I'll leave you with that.
Genuinely, the only decent episode of the show. Except for the predictable reveal that Qimir was the Sith, even though the reveal was played for surprise and mystery.
Don’t know yet the show isn’t over. He could just be an apprentice that doesn’t work out, he could be another darkside user that popped up like they tend to do and gets put down later by an actual Sith Lord. There are a lot of possibilities, we’ll just gonna have to see.
