There's a part in a later episode where when Mae is leaving (think it's the one before the big confrontation) where in reference to the Master, Qimir says "he'll kill you", and the way he delivers that line with the sudden shift in his voice gave me echoes of Palpatine with how you could catch little glimpses of his "true" self underneath the surface. Loved Jacinto's performance ^^
indeed. He's spouting off sith ideologies all the time. And when Mae told him that if her master found out about her dealing with him i actually laughed as she had no idea that her master already knew what she was doing and was even participating in it.
I feel like they might go the route of making him a “canon” Darth Venamis where he eventually is killed by Plagueis and takes his position as the apprentice of Tenebrous. Given his focus on poison the name would be fitting and actually give a meaning to the name Venamis. The books describe Venamis as a Bith like his master but I would be fine with the species change as long as they don’t change the species (or appearance) of the other two.
Also in the novel Venamis could use force levitation which is said to be difficult to master, and he was superior to plaguis in Saber combat, I'd say qimir fits the bill for Darth Venamis perfectly
@@6-dpegasus425 Took out 8 Jedi’s all by himself! The way he killed Yord and Jecki like damn I did not expect that at all I may be more of a Jedi/lightside fan but Qimir is definitely one of my favorite dark side characters now after episode 5

Love how Qimir/The Stranger acts as the comedic, non-threatening sidekick, and handy dandy bestie to Mae, but with Osha he’s the seductive, sympathetic, soft spoken, and understanding dark prince whom wants her to be his wife.
The whole thing about the dark siders is that they make themselves unnoticeable, making themselves unknown, hidden and masquerading under a disguise and working on a method to kill the jedi without directly confronting them
Managed to fool his own apprentice and the jedi by pretending to be a fool. He did it so well that no one suspected him until he was revealed during the fight when his sith mask was broken off.
I still had no idea qimir was the sith until episode 4 when he started acting suspicious tho I did have a moment of hold up let’s remember this when he blocked all Mae’s attacks
@@Veryy_Victoriaa u was rewatch in it awhile back with the knowledge now and you could see hints to it like every time he got mysterious or something he talked slowly like he does in his helmet
@@TWF1003 yea I get that. But that doesn’t answer it under the false pretense she was led to believe. Maybe because she talked about her mission or he was helping her.
Qimir was so disappointed in Mae when she asked for it her master sends a supplier a friend to go with her on her final lesson I figured out he was the master right away
Now that we saw Qimir in action, and caught a lot of negative reception from series, it fair to say that the Acolyte will be a Star Wars version of MD Geist!
When I watch this scene; I boil over when they say The Acolyte wasn't a good show! Besides being sexy as hell, Manny plays the ideal Sith Lord, and one I would be unable to resist! Get on the ball, Disney; and find that man some more work!
Palpy killed his master in his sleep with Poison. I wonder if Qimer is Palpy and the masked Sith is Plagueis. Palpy looks over 100 years old when his Sidious form is revealed. Maybe Qimer’s gonna double cross both Mae and the Master
I don't think it was ever written anywhere that Sidious poisoned his Master, but it was written that he nuked him with lightning as he slept. And his Master 'STILL' nearly recovered, but fell short.

Im from the future. Jar jar binks acts like a fool but he is a Master Sith Lord 😂
In a lego universe right?!
Then it turns out to be false and Jar Jar is totally a fool
You can clearly see he's not insanely buffed in this scene (to look like a comical sidekick). My guy was keeping the real juice under the counter.

He doesn’t strike me to be a sith
Palpatine pretended to be a nice old man. It’s not far fetched for sith to hide right in the open and play a part

Crazy party is they still wouldn't have ever given it a single thought was him if they didn't break his mask
The "peace is a lie" line was a nice touch.
Rewatching this scene after Ep 5 makes this scene so much better - this is simply a lesson between a teacher and a bull-headed pupil.
