Unrelated, but:
The ending of this song reminds me of one of the songs on the Age of Mythology Original Sound Track - namely "Gary's Reserve" (End Credits song) - also the whole OST pretty neat, although I might be blinded by nostalgia.
Good times, I was12 at that time.
"A few" try 2007. I'll fully admit I was 17 at the time & have ZERO memory of this song back then. But listening to it now brings back a bunch of weird nostalgia that I can't put my finger on. It's so odd.

This is my nostalgia song, it was literally my childhood. My dad would play this all the time along with foo fighters and the living end, but this is the one I specifically remember just stopping and listening to when it came on. Tbh it makes me kinda sad to think about because it reminds me of the house I grew up in before my parents divorced. Now I’m somewhere that doesn’t feel like it’s really my home and the only things I have to remind me of it are these songs.

At this time in my life when this came out I was living in an apartment in San Antonio…my neighbor downstairs was a pretty girl named nicki. She was a heroin addict. But she was really chill down to earth ppl. We had some of the most interesting convos I ever had in my life. This was 2009-2010….it is now 2022. I always wondered how she is doing or if she is even still alive. It sucks. Some ppl come into your life and u don’t even know that they are a blessing. She was a good girl. A philosopher. A good mind. A good spirit. I miss her energy.

They seem to share the same thing as me. I've always had bad things happen to me, but I'm very lucky at the same time, maybe because the night creatures look after me. Idk.
