Absolutely ingenious. I love that conventional sink set up with the pump. Enough to brush, shave and wash up. Refrigerator for light eating with a microwave and coffee. Basically a college dorm set up. I love it. Drive and stay safe.
Very nice, also very unique to hear that your family travels with you on an RV, you have a nice family and and a cool truck, new subscriber, thanks and safe journeys
Nice job , never thought about going that route with a sleeper . I like it ! , KW does that kinda bench thing in there studio sleeper . Frieghtliner take note 🤣🤣...seriously though great job.
Thank you. I first considered setting it up like the studio sleepers in the KWs but decided that I would have more usable counter space if I set it up like I have it. Thanks for the comment.
Clean set up, nice ideas never seen anything like it, maybe after all no one need a 132 IN sleeper that gives you a headache to turn, I still want one tho W900 132 sleeper would be nice to have, you just got a new subscriber hopefully you can upload more often, appreciate the videos.
Were you able to check out my other videos? I have one that I talk about what I've done and how I use it. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thank you. I've only done mine. My wife did the dash panels. Its pretty simple, you just have to remove everything and start building. There are updates on vlog number 45. I show the interior in the live video.
Really nice!! That's something that I would like to do. If I had that truck, I always wanted one of them. I have a Columbia 06. What engine do you have?
Cool set up. Can you show more about the couch and how that works. I might wanna do this to mine. Where did you get the couch was it from an old camper or did you order it? The ones i found online are like from 600 to 1k$
The couch is a jack knife couch from an rv like you guessed. We full time rv so we pulled the table and couch out of our rv to replace them with better ones. If you want a couch try and find a salvage yard or something like that to get one cheap. The very back seat out of the cargo/passenger vans do the same thing.
I know i'm a late viewer to tjis video but what size sleeper do you have and how long is your sofa and where can i find one? Reasonably priced of course. Thanks, looks great.
The couch is out of an rv. Look for resale parts places that focus on rvs. My sleeper is the 72" one. The couch i believe is about 67 or 68". There are several scrap yards across the US that you can find reasonably good prices on used furniture. Thanks for the comment. Stay safe driver.
I never seen someone do that to a Freight very creative Nomad . So which one is better your R,V. Or your Classic Long hood ? So nowadays everybody is doing the same thing for traveling buying R,V,s to travel & not taking cars, or planes to travel due to the virus stuff, R,V. Sales are at there highest this year 2020. Ride safe dude 🤙
Thank you. The classic is nice for when I'm stuck out on the road but I would always rather be with the family in our rv. We have been full time rving for just over 3 years now. We love it. Just pack up and go when we want. Stay safe driver.
Anything pre emission is a good buy. Classics and flds are rather tough trucks. Parts are everywhere and they seem to be significantly cheaper then any other hooded truck.
Hahaha. I love the shifter but I definitely didn't do it to let everyone know it's a standard transmission. Kinda like saying your driving a semi to let everyone know you're able to drive the biggest truck on the road.
What size inverter do you run? So you took the panels off yourself 2 let the wife paint them? What region of the country do you run? I have a 01 Classic & I'm always looking 4 fresh ideas & you definitely have plenty of them. Thanks 4 the info. I'm gonna sub 2 your channel now that I've found it.
2000watt. It was my wife's idea to paint them. We removed them and she used brake cleaner to remove the factory wood grain vinyl crap off. She primed and then painted them. The worst part was putting the dash back together and trying to locate wires for the gauges. I stay east of Denver. My Instagram @nomad.trucker has several photos of the dash at night. Thanks for the love and the subscribe. Where do you run?
@@NomadTrucker east coast & midwest. Still so much work 2 do on my truck. I got hurt some time back & my mechanic just stopped working on the truck. I got a million parts while I've been down but now it's time 2 get it all together. I only have the single bunk tho. Wish i had the double but I'll handle the cards i was dealt.
@@NomadTrucker I got a guy who says he will paint my dash 4 the low low. I was wondering about knowing which lines go 2 which gauges. I figured it was gonna be a pain. I'll check out the Instagram page so I can see those pictures 🚛🚛🚛
The whole process is relatively easy. Just take pictures before you dismantle and as you are. Use some tape and a permanent marker to mark the wires for the gauges. My wife used self etching primer and cherry red spray can from Wally world lol she also used a final clear coat. So far it's been like 5 years and they aren't flaking or anything.
Honestly, it shouldn't cost much. I had the couch and then counter top was a left over piece from a delivery to a job site. I only purchased the wood for the cabinets and the floor. You can even get on the resale sites and find the jack knife couches out of conversion Van's.
I do a lot of FedEx and I've done some amazon stuff too and I've never had an issue maneuvring at either location. One plus to the classic xl is the room under the hood to work on the engine. The fld, not so much.
Absolutely ingenious. I love that conventional sink set up with the pump. Enough to brush, shave and wash up. Refrigerator for light eating with a microwave and coffee. Basically a college dorm set up. I love it. Drive and stay safe.
Thank you. Tried to get as many comforts from home into my truck 😄 stay safe as well.
Outstanding set up in that sleeper. All the comforts of home. Well almost. Really enjoyable video.
Hey, thank you. I really appreciate it.
Very interesting way of converting a standard sleeper into something that is functional. I'm impressed
Dude I’m sorry but Ima copy that setup lol!!! Looks so comfortable!! Don’t have a Freightliner yet but When I do 😏😜😅
CLASSIC XL , MY ALL TIME FAVORITE TRUCK, SOMDAY ILL GET ME ANOTHER ONE
That is so creative and bad ass man. I’m shocked wasn’t expecting that. One of a kind no doubt. I hope to one day have a setup half as nice.
I want a Classic XL. I watch you and Trucker AK. Both of you have beautiful rides. And I’m copying both of you as well😂
I dig that set up! First time I’ve seen something like that that’s not a super sleeper
Thank you. To be honest my wife pretty much came up with the whole set up. For a standard 72" bunk I have a surprisingly large amount of space.
Yea, it looks good. Makes it look bigger. Gotta hand it to the wife, that woman can spruce up a truck lol
Love watching your vlogs! Love your truck too, it’s beautiful!!
Great job man
Looks absolutely great 👍🏻
Love your truck! I've always liked frtlnr classics anyway. But yours is the bomb! Great job, glad I found you.
Thank you. There have been some changes if you seen any other videos you will see what I'm talking about.
Dude! This is awesome!
Thank you sir.

No, but I will check out your other channel, thanks

Thanks for the comment. It's amazing how much room is inside a sleeper if you just rearrange things. Thanks for subscribing. I'll have more up soon.
Now that's a moving man cave. Awesome!
Thank you.
Very nice. Drive safely my friend. God bless you 🙏.
We would like to see the A/C and generator set up and advice on how to use it.
Were you able to check out my other videos? I have one that I talk about what I've done and how I use it. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
I hope you have everything secured. In the horrible case that you might get into a crash all the stuff in your truck becomes a deadly weapon.
I've actually moved a lot of the stuff and secured it for that very reason. Nothing should move now even if I roll it.
Nice home away from home. Well thought out.
Thank you. My wonderful wife gets most of the credit.
@@NomadTrucker she did an AMAZING job! You better keep her around....
Definitely will.
waooo respect i like your sleeper it is like a living room
Thank you. I'm actually kicked back on the couch watching a movie.
Nomad.Trucker be safe out there bro
Will do, you too.
Great setup, everything flows nicely 👍
Thank you.
Dude that is a sick set up
Thank you.
That is a nice set up. Wish I could do that with a midroof cascadia
If you have a second bunk you could.
Man I can’t wait to buy a Freightliner classic my dream truck
Thats nice👍 i hope everything stays on that counter top in corners lol looks nice man
Thanks. The microwave is held in place by small bungie cords.
Like your set up my friend 👍😎
I love how you have that done
Thank you.
классный трак !!!!! ставрополь смотрит !!!
A job well done, Nice setup
Thank you.
Awesome sleeper buddy! How did you get the couch in there?? I'm guessing you had the seats out...
Yes I did. I took them out to do the floor and everything.
I want to change my dash lights to red also. Where did you get the lights at? Thanks
Amazon. The cheapest way.
Best truck interior I’ve seen hands down🙏🏾. Do you do any custom work for people or know anyone that can do the same ?

You can do the same with your sleeper. I have a 12.7 detroit series 60.

Sweet freight shaker looking good

Awesome set up driver !
Would you please Explain how you set up your portable A/C. I really want to install one
Yes. I will have one out about my generator and the a/c. Hopefully it will help you set yours up
Nice setup
How did you get that couch in there?
Can u show a pic of engine buying a 07 classic xl wit a 14l but its locked up n want to put 12.7 in it
How did u work the factory ac amd heater that was under the bed did u just remove it all
Everything is still there underneath the cabinet.

Thank you.
Very nice. Curious, would this be a 70” or 84” sleeper?
It's a 72"
Amazing! You did that in a 72” set up?
Yes. I also have updated several things to make it way better.

What exactly are you asking? Am I working? Where are we? What's up?

Check out my other videos about my "apu" setup.
Why don’t you have a APU?
I have 2 150 gallon tanks. There isn't enough room for one. I run a sweet generator setup.
