I found a hidden Audio setting that finally fixed the Footsteps!! Even after the patch my footstep audio was terrible and it reverted to non existent after a couple days. After spending hours searching for the right combination of settings I found a buried setting you can change that instantly made it so I could hear Footsteps again. I'm going to be releasing a video on it sometime this week, make sure you're SUBSCRIBED so you get the Notification!! This Setting is HUGE!!
I have a 5950 and 3090 w/ 32gb of ddr 5 and the Samsung 980, so basically your system, and average 200+ basically everywhere on the map. 175 is probably low, and my graphics are turned up fairly well. You need to have someone optimize your pc that actually knows what they are doing.
I play on 2560x1440 and run a 27” G7 in full screen extended or whatever COD calls it now. Super agree on Xbox game bar and other programs unnecessarily using resources
if your still having issues where your game feels delayed for some reason or your dropping frames put your terrain memory on low or medium should fix delay alot and make your fps more consistent but if your on a higher end pc keep it on max unless you wanna try it out
AMD FSR can improve the game's framerate. It renders the game at the lowest resolution and then upscales everything to native resolution. The highest quality setting for FSR looks almost identical to the original graphics but perhaps some things are more pixelated such as bushes, trees, or white highlighted ground loot. After doing the benchmark for FSR 1.0 and 2.0 they both got around the same FPS performance however 1.0 looked lesser pixelated compared to 2.0. FSR works with Nvidia and AMD graphics cards so it could be worth a shot to give it a try to improve the framerate.
FSR 1.0 and 2.1 look like crap. It's way too blurry on my 6800XT and laggy. Fidelity CAS looks and performs so much better. I need to try the setting this guy is talking about as I have 16 GB of VRAM.
I have watched 100's of these type of videos. But honestly, this definitely worked for me. I was stuttering a fair bit before this. Gonna check out the rest of your videos now.
3060 ti and Intel i5 11400f 6 core. I get hitching and stuttering with VRAM set too high. 0.6 works for my system, maybe because I'm GPU bound. All settings low except cache sizes are highest. Average around 130-140 FPS in WZ2, 160-180 in MW2.
I just run max, my monitor is 280hz and I don't even get close to that on warzone. I did see a video tho that showed if you cap your frame rate at your average fps it reduces your 1% lows and lowers the gap between your highs and lows.
@@KickRocksGamingChannel yea I have a 165hz monitor @ 1440p 7900xt, 5800x3d uncapped hit 250-300 in game so trying to figure out if I should be more around my screen refresh rate ?
actually it doesn't do anything at all if you change it to "2.000000", when you are in game graphic settings you can see that your total VRAM number increased 2x Twice as it was before, only because you typed ""2.000000" in the file. I have 3090 24GB, after changing setting in the file to""2.000000", now it appears in game graphic settings that I have 48GB of VRAM which makes no sense. COD starts to see your VRAM amount totally wrong.
Damn that sucks.. Its not going to work for everyone because everyone's set up is different, but I would just experiment with different values. Maybe even try going to a lower number then the in game settings allow. If you go to a higher number I would just make sure your in game settings are set to low competitive settings. The higher your in game settings are the more Ram and VRam your pc has to use.
I’ve seen proof of the opposite for certain titles, CoD being one of them. Crimsix mentioned this in a video he made at the start of this year. Setting it to cpu resulted in a higher frame rate. It depends on what the game runs with, some will run better with gpu and some with cpu.
They say to half the total number of your cores so that way there the game is only using your fastest cores. If you have 16 you would want to put 8 in between the parenthesis. If you don't notice a difference try putting 12 in and see how it feels.
I was getting g 165 fps at the start of Warzone on a 3070, but I barely get 120 fps even on ashkika Island. I saw this, and I still didn't help. Also, my gpu seems to be holding back, usually getting 55+ Celsius, now getting 44 underload 🤔 I even went as far as updating bios vbios enabling resizable bar etc. Fully optimized pc even further, and still no change in fps. I have no idea what is causing the issue. I play Flight sim, and I get more fps from all of this. Cod is literally the only game having issues
I had the exact same issue where my GPU wouldn't get above 50 C, even now I'm still only using like 65% of my GPU. I had to over clock my CPU to get my GPU to work harder. This game is bottlenecking CPUs, even high end ones and its causing are GPUs to under perform. I'll Have a video on what I did to help with the problem out soon.
You can try 2.0 see how it feels but if you start noticing issues try lowering it to 1.0 and go up from there. I would just experiment, and if you notice you have issues no matter what you set it to, try going below what it lets you in game.
Game looks amazing now but i literally went from 140 frames to 50. UPDATE- went with fsr 1.0 and put the highest quality. Game looks amazing and im back at 140-160 frames
Every time I try to save the settings in the notepad file for "options.3.cod22.cst" I get a read-only message. So it won't save. Should I save it as a new file?
Graphics and Refresh rate would be the biggest advantages of ps5 over ps4. On PS4 you only get 60hz but on PS5 you get up to 120hz. Everything will look smoother and you will see enemy players faster when they peek corners, and move fast. Plus you can play on 1440 instead of 1080. Honestly some people think PS5 handles this game better then some of the low - med end PCs.
If you don't see it what you can do, is go down to the windows button at the bottom of your desktop and type options.3.cod22 in the search bar and then click where it says documents right below where u wrote it and it should come up. Just make sure you click where it says documents before u search.
It should I guess it just depends on how much VRam you have. Players with low VRam could run into problems just because the game is taking up all of their PCs resources. I would just experiment with different numbers if you run into any problems, anything above .9 is still higher then the in game options allow.

It could be that you don't have enough VRAM available or if your in game settings are to high it would cause you to lose FPS. You could try a lower number see if it helps, anything above .9 is still higher then what the in game options allow. Maybe try 1.000000 see if it makes a difference but the lower your graphics settings are the easier it is on your PC after you raise the memory setting. Also if you have both files options.3.cod22 and options.3.codhq, make sure the settings are the same in both or it messes things up for some reason.
@@KickRocksGamingChannel I will look into it further - running a 3070 with most graphics on low. I will keep tweaking the settings. Great video though, very informative - thanks for the info.
Create an Original Dupe of the file. Just copy all of the text, paste in new note, name CoDOptionsOriginal or something like that. And then you could go the same with different settings you are testing out etc.

good analyse broo
that's why a lot of people quit the
game without understanding where the problem really comes from that affects all performance namely your tracking fluidity is blocked in the middle of your aiming props during a lateral movement!
example : If you stray ⬅️ in the opposite direction of your ADS ➡️ you will find that your red dot reticle locks in the middle of your aiming props and whatever your sensitivity and this is not normal🚫
the fluidity of your ADS in your props should not be impacted by your lateral movement on mw2 to have the right follow-up and the progressive fluidity of your red dot you need to make your lateral movement follow the same direction as the direction of your ADS lateral displacement ⬅️ direction ADS⬅️ impossible to do in game and I confirm that it comes from a bug and gives auto-aim assist issues for joystick players It would take too long to explain if the developers fixed these anomalies of ADS fluidity on mw2
I promise it will follow at least the same success as the mw2019 game level since the release of mw2 I do not see anyone complaining about this anomaly and frankly it scares me It's the worst problem in the game but no one understands it I invite you to go and test the manipulation of movements on mw2019 if you doubt my analysis devs should be aware of stuck red dot tracking issue in lateral displacement I hope I have helped to solve or understand the problem It's not you but bad programming if you lost tracking in the massively

this is in the settings menu already
News flash the game feels sluggish because it has no movement lmao. There’s no setting that’ll fix that feeling.
Actually there is lol.
I have an RTX 3080 TI with a ryzen 5900X and i used to get 140 fps!!! Ty
same has this video improved your fps?
@@stevenp.3018 ye
I have a 5900X 3080 TI and I get 191fps with a few high settings at 1440P
@CSGO Shorts trying this now
@@stevenp.3018 did it help?
If you’re doing this shuttering in the game it’s gonna be often , and packet losses, fps drop and overheating GPU’s 😂
Thanks for the vid, kick rocks with flip flops
my FPS dropped a bunch when using these settings - not sure why
A rizzen 9 baby love it
Create an Original Dupe of the file. Just copy all of the text, paste in new note, name CoDOptionsOriginal or something like that. And then you could go the same with different settings you are testing out etc.
4 core system please don't even think about going below 4 cores in render workout lol. Only higher end CPUs will benefit with halving the cores. 8 core or above go ahead and half 🤷♂️
Definitely noticed a difference in responsiveness. Much appreciated.
I went from 90/110 fps to 150/16 0 fps with that change! Also used youre graphic settings!! Thanks ma boy i’m on a ryzen 7 5800 and a rtx 3080
What’s your settings?
Went from 50-60 to 80-90 fps thank you bro
Didnt work on 6700xt 5600x 32gb ram, thanks anyway
Did you try to change it in both files? I had it go back to the way it was and then someone pointed out that COD added a 2nd File called Options.3.CODHQ. Once I went in & changed it in the new file as well, the game felt faster again.
I liked the video, despite the fact that I can't use this, since I'm on console
Thank You, I appreciate it!! I'll have console videos coming soon.
🥺🥺🥺
@@KickRocksGamingChannel That's cool. I shoulda known it was gonna be a PC setting since they're usually more in depth due to the higher performance
nice my friend
Would love to try these settings but i just got a new pc and can not even get this dang game to load on a brand new pc
You probably need to update your drivers
Wow i rock a Rtx3050 and this gave me a 20bomb in performance and 3years of playing this game I never get the performance I need.
Also this video audio in how to was so worth my sub. Through entertainment and learning this be the best video I have come across, thanks man keep doing content!
Thank you I appreciate that!!
New setting?! Lol
"invidia" not Nividia
"Rieyzen" not rizzin
And ppl wonder why console players don't like crossplay
And vice versa, we have to deal with OP aim assist for shitty controller players
You pronounce the Y in ryzen. It's Ryzen not Rizen.
aim assist with cheats is all i see in his clips
Lmfao ok man
This man has to be the stupidest person alive what cheats are u even talking about
you must be that bad at the game to think this guys cheating, 😂 theres not one suss clip. bot
@@JL-bv5vl 🤣🤣 u ain't lying
13 year olds in the comments: nah uhhhh 😂
This is in the game menu you dont need to change that file lol
Ya it is but you can only go to 90 in the options menu, in the game files it goes higher. When I had my set to 90 in game and showed as 0.9 in the game files. They allow you to go as high as 2.0 in the file, and I'm assuming that means it can go twice as high.
Why would you play warzone on shitty pc anyways? If I wanted to play warzone on of them I would just go over to apex legends 😂
Thanks, turn down the cheats tho bro, it kills ur credibility
lol Na those are just cherry picked clips half the time my aim is trash. You won't find many people who hate cheaters as much me, I absolutely loath them!!
stop using a cronus your aim is way to sticky
lol na thats just the over powered aim assist, I use an Astro c40 controller but I have aftermarket thumbsticks that have a lot more tension. Makes it easier to make adjustments.
@@KickRocksGamingChannelI just use a program to get black ops aim assist on mouse and keyboard, I do that cause I hate controller stick drift I love never having to worry about that
@@kev9539 ummm so u r cheating. Nice
@@inflatablepeas6649 look at my last vid
@@inflatablepeas6649 he caught in 4K and just don’t care 😔 aim assist on MKB 🤥
So console players are f’d 😢
Yow do some console videos nah there are more console players than pc smh
Like to thank you, my latency has gone down from 30-48 MS to 0-1 MS.
Thanks ❤
It’s a bug man… Your latency is higher.
Another reason PC players should only play with PC players
Another reason controller players should only play with controller players… aim assist 😂
Nah your gameplay looks like your using cheats 2 only use these settings if you have a potato pc and want to get banned.🎉
3.lag comes from servers been packed 4you are on wifi 5. Ingame setting work just fine .
Way to much work just to play a game. Devs need to stop putting out shit games.
