To simply said I can save your hard work and thell you that there isn´t a perfect settings, that´s just a personal preference and what you can adapt on. To simplify that, I used to play year 1 on basic settings and 800 dpi, but when you are 800 dpi and lower your mice gets small input lag, so stick with 1600 and divide your ingame sense by 2. Windows mouse settings are always default so you never have to change this otherwise someone did when got the pc as new and didn´t know that you can change DPI on mouse. The rule of having a great aim in any game is to measure a 360° turn in game and it has to be equal in size of your mousepad or A4 paper which is 30cm, this is the best base setting to set any sensitivity in any game, then it splits, someone uses more than 30cm someone uses less than 30cm, that all depends. 1 ADS sensitivity is basically the best you can set it on, and for me I can adapt even on this, I can snipe long range, close range, without any problems, but after I installed Pulsar Superglide mouse skates I went with my sense down. Year 2 into Warzone I was using a 1600 DPI, 2.50 ingame sense on Logitech GPX with 1.78 monitor coefficient. I even tried Symfuhnys settings on which he plays like 400 dpi, 8 ingame sens and 0.65 low zoom and 0.6 high zoom. So now I´m on 1600 dpi, 2.75 ingame sense on Pulsar X2 Medium with Superglides, 0.83 ads, ADS sensitivity Relative, monitor coeff 1.33 and ADS transition timing I set to gradual, I´ve switched to that when I was setting my sens after Sym and I never switched back.

Tracking is really more of it for MnK I think. Due to the magnetism aim assist provides, I believe this is really where we're at the biggest disadvantage. Having to make small adjustments while tracking on a medium range to long range target will present the most misses. It's also the way we get killed the most as a competent aim assist user will understand how to abuse the function and will end missing next to zero shots

DPI / Mouse Sensitivity Settings. The reason he can't tell you is that every pc is different. Depending on your monitor size, field of view settings, screen resolution, and mouse hardware settings the perfect setting for one person is probably not going to be the same for the next person. In other words the distance I have to move my mouse for the cursor to move say 1 inch would be different if I had another monitor or resolution setting. So what is the goal? This is very simple actually. Worst case scenario you need to quickly turn around to shoot someone behind you. Additionally that person may be running or strafing away from the direction you turn, or you just might not know exactly where behind you they are. Ideally you want to be able to move the mouse from the center point on your mouse pad to one side or the other and have your character rotate a little more than 1/2 way around. Something like 200 - 220 degrees. Think of a click, you are looking at the 12 oclock mark. You want to be able to flick left and rotate all the way around to the 5 or even 4 oclock range. Or flicking right rotate around to the 7 or even 8 oclock range. Any less sensitivity and you risk frequent cases of being shot in the back and not being able to turn far enough to engage the target without picking up your mouse, moving it to the center of the pad, and moving again. This is obviously going to get you killed frequently. On the other hand if your sensitivity is higher you are wasting precision that you could have. There is no need to have your character spin around in 3 circles every time you move the mouse an inch. It destroys your ability to aim at distant targets precisely.
The way I do this in every game when initially setting it up is I find a wall and put one shoulder against it looking down the wall. Then I move the mouse from center pad to either side. Now I adjust the sensitivity in the game settings so that when making this move I perfectly rotate so that I am facing down the same wall in the opposite direction. Now you can just guess check and revise to fine tune this a little higher. Or you can do some math. Again the goal is to turn a little more than 1/2 way around. At this point we are turning exactly 1/2 way around. This is 180 degrees. If you have a target rotation in mind simple math will tell you what to set the sensitivity at. Most games have a digital readout of the sensitivity. So the formula is (current sensitivity divided by 180) x desired degrees of rotation). For example, if a sensitivity of 1.0 gives you that perfect 1/2 turn, then (1 / 180)x220 = 1.22. So setting the sensitivity at 1.22 would achieve a 220 degree turn.
I know right... math. The important thing is to realize that the settings one person uses will NOT work for another person unless they are using incredibly similar hardware, and yet we can still easily achieve our goal or ideal settings with this simple exercise.

What's insane about the whole kbm vs controller thing is that you cannot argue that there is a whole era of videos dedicated to fine tuning mouse aim, whereas all it takes is to plug in a controller and achieve similar results (granted you are good at both inputs. I've been a hybrid player my whole life and I like both inputs so I can't say one is superior to the other but it's just absolutely crazy to me that mouse aiming is so much more complicated than controller aiming

i found that using relative with 1.78 and ads sensitivity with a 3x to 6x sight to 0.9 and 6x to the max to 0.8 gives you the same effect that setting the monitor distance coefficient at 0.00 without sacrificing ads speed while on iron sights, so you can have faster feeling smgs and slower more accurate ARs and even slower and more accurate snipers while still feeling normal because of the difference in fov, last thing is monitor distance sensitivity is superior to cm per 360 to have the same FEEL between different games. And tnx for the 6:11 ratio on cursor speed tip, I didn't know that affected sensitivity i have it at 5 and thought it only affected sensitivity while on the os and menus not actually in game

  • @GraphicFrost

I checked all the ADS sensitivity types with a progarmm called sensitivity matcher and to my surprise i found found out that none of the 3 options give you a 1:1 ADS sens to normal sens ratio.
The reason why most people think MW Legacy gives you a 1:1 ratio is because it does give you a 1:1 ratio for most red dot sigths BELOW 1.5x magnification, scopes or dots over 1.5x (basically all after the Kazan-Holo) do not give you a 1:1 ratio.

  • @turinreza
    @turinreza Год назад +5

the way to use custom sensitivity per zoom is to make your snipers more controllable by increasing zoom as well as your secondary weapon
(an AR or semi) and adjust that sensitivity for good close combat.
for example a variable scope with low zoom and high zoom you want to have a lower sensitivity at high zoom for long range but when you are low zoom for running
around quick scoping you want a higher sensitivity.
if you run around with your secondary or need to switch to it for close combat you can have a sensitivity that works well for just that weapon.

There is some outdated/wrong info in this video. Nearly every game for the past 15+ years uses raw mouse input. As a result, Windows mouse speed has zero affect on game sensitivity/feel. It's also been proven that 1600 DPI is the sweet spot for the least input lag. 800 DPI has a reasonable improvement in latency over 400 DPI, but 400 DPI is just BAD. Since the effect DPI has on latency is logatythmic, over 1600 DPI doesn't provide any meaningful improvement. Plus, to affectively use 3200DPI+, you need an ultra smooth/flat/clean mouse surface which isn't worth the upkeep for what little improvement you may see.

A decent video with the exception of the regurgitated 20 year old BS, and you own lack of understanding of what you are trying to advise others do.
    Some points...
    1. windows mouse settings have ZERO influence on gaming if the game uses raw ( this is regurgitated BS from 20 years ago)
    2. DPI also effect mouse on windows desktop unless it is tied to a game profile settings of 800 - 3200 are great as long as the game allows you to go low enough in game settings to give the 360 you want, after 3200 give diminishing returns.
    3. Polling rate never needs to be higher than 500 you till never know the difference but the computer will.
    4. Mouse sense in game .. not telling was a good call, it is personal preference.
    5. That explanation of the coefficient was wrong on so many levels.. It has NOTHING to do with monitor aspect ratio.
    6. Mouse calibration: You shout set this based of your flick distance.
    Under mouse calibration.
leave everything else off, but using acceleration gives the best of both worlds fine aim and flick.
very small amounts ( between 0.01 and 0.08 ) allow you to reduce main sense to give higher precision for micro movement, but still keep flick distance, learn to use it, this game does it fantastically. It does NOT hinder muscle memory. Most people avoid it because either they don't understand, it or they have heard it is bad from from dumb RUclipsrs who said avoid acceleration because they don't understand it and are regurgitating 20 year old info.
A lot of games have done mouse acceleration really badly giving the impression it is bad, but some games do a great job of it. MW2019 and MW2 do it really well, but, BO Coldwar made an abortion of it.
    7. The manual shot hold is slower than a fast trigger finger but it is more accurate because you are not constantly jolting he mouse with every press. Getting 5 bullets on target is more important than shooting 10 bullets faster but only hitting with 2.
Although I criticized it, you have to give me kudos for watching the entire thing including the 5 minute crap about how opera pretends to be better than chrome. Check this short from some dude who shows you otherwise.

In game sens 1 not 4 cuz if u have in game sens 4 u move by 4 pixels not one... That IS why razer , steelseries top Moysesa have high dpi ... I use in game sens 1 and 2200 dpi ... Cuz im Ar player but if u use smg u Can go 1 sens and 3800dpi
