- In this video we show you how to do a complete installation of an android wide-screen headunit complete with a dash cam and reversing camera.
This is for either the Peugeot RCZ or Peugeot 308 without the factory sat nav.

Oh my God I'm so happy I found you!! I have an rcz an researched alot of media units for it then found a guy who was selling his kenwood system thingy that comes with the flush fitting front bit he told me it's easy to install I can do it myself.... 🤦♀️ I had to call a mobile mechanic to install it but he didn't install the GPS or the rear camera so gonna attempt it myself an your video explained everything perfectly! Defo subscribing to you!

Super video merci ! Sur ma RCZ, j'ai un bouton Peugeot Assistance sur la 6eme touche en haut de la console. Cela ne correspond pas aux touches du cadre fourni. Est-ce que les 6 boutons sont câblés, ou le 6eme bouton est inactif ?

Hello how are you ? I'm talking to you since I bought the same radio that you install in the video for my RCZ, the radio is great but I can't get 100% of the functionalities that the original radio had, I can't find the configuration that allows me to access the on-board computer , can you help me with that ?
Hiya 👋🏻🤗, thanks so much for your comment, of course, it's because the headunit isn't supplied with the correct canbus box for the RCZ, please see my latest video to explain and the link for the correct canbus box is in the description of the same video, hope this helps 😊
Hi I have been messing about this so much silly different face unit, but all much the same setup. Just cant get the upper heads orignal display to change off the bluetooth connection

Hey, yes unfortunately It's not supported so I simply disconnected the top unit 😊
Great video again, what if anything doesn't work on the original top screen along side the new head unit? I assume that you cannot access the telephone on the old Unit as it's now connected to the new head unit, would that be the only difference from old to new? 👍
Hey thanks for your comment 😌 Yes the top screen is pretty useless now, but all that info including temperature is on the headunit. The hansds free still works just with a different mic. I plan to do another video to explain this ☺️

Hi mate, this is a brilliant video. I'm doing exactly the same as you on my RCZ. How do you get the panels out of the boot? I'm assuming those metal spring hook assemblies need removing but I'm stuffed if I can work out how they come off. Can you help? I've got the other clips out but all the panels still seem tight so I'm assuming I need to remove those hook assemblies....

@@CarFlix. Sorted. All done and working. Many thanks. I don't know whether you can help with this mate, my rear spoiler has stopped working. I was wonder whether there was wiring in that boot area that I might have not plugged back in or there is a fault on it. I don't suppose you know which wiring is associated with the rear spoiler. I've already checked the bizarrely hidden fuse in the main fusebox and that looked okay but the button isn't illuminating. I've even manually wound the spoiler back down, just in case it needed resetting or something, but still getting nothing.
@@trevatkin4869 have you tried popping the spoiler button panel up and checking the connection hasn't come loose?
Also check you haven't damaged or disturbed the wiring next to the reverse wire you spliced in to as one of those may be the spoiler
@@CarFlix. Yes, I even replaced the button, but no joy. Does make me wonder if I've pulled a wire somewhere. I'm finding it hard to find any wiring diagrams for these bits of the car, it seems to be an official secret! I don't suppose you have any more info on what wires do what at the back there do you, assuming that's where my problem is.....hard to know when nothing's happening. It does show a fault when I put my scanner on it, but it's not really helpful.
I think looking at it that module might be the parking module we're tapped into. I'm genuinely stumped on where to go with this spoiler issue.
Hello, how are you? After the change, you had problems with the microphone that comes with the radio. Since I changed the radio for the same model that is installed, I have not been able to answer calls.

did you gwt any interference on your digital odometer? i have mine system set up now correctly, but its continuously switching between mileage and something else
Hiya 👋🏼 🤗, No interference it just switches between your trip computer when you press your end stalk, easy fix is to deactivate the button from steering wheel settings 😊

I appreciate each to their own, but one of the joys of an RCZ is not having a bloody tablet stuck on the dash.
Hi and thanks for your comment, in my opinion its for the ease of use of the satnav and not having a phone stuck to your windscreen.
The other benefit is the sound quality can be greatly increased using the EQ and also giving the option of adding a sub woofer if you like 🙂
@@CarFlix. Thanks for the reply, I meant no offence. I hope I didn't come across as being rude, I just hate that cars have ended up with screens dominating the dashboard. I have my mums 2014 RCZ GT, I bought it for her 10 years ago. She passed away 17 months ago and I cannot bring myself to sell it, such a fantastic car filled with great memories. In the last 17 months I have used it frequently and just love it as a car (setting aside that it was my mother's) I love knobs and dials over screens (old fashioned old man 😂) but like I said it's a question if personal preference. If I had to update the ice then I would begrudgingly go for a double din unit that also has physical buttons/knob.
Thanks for the video though. I would also like to add that RCZ people are a love bunch, every time I take the car out it gets admired, but stumble across a RCZ owner and they always toot and wave, stop to chat, even had one follow me to the supermarket just to chat 😂.
