You missed some of the main spear parts - Locking hub, uni joints for drive line, a cv, rear berings and wheel studs and nuts also globes for headlights
Its a good idea to get the type that have the thread the full length of the clamp, as then you can use a 3" clamp on a 1" hose if need be and cut it off.
Yesterday i fitted a set of the Roadrunner Offroad 'Ultimate Short Colby Tyre Valves' to my 17" Patrol std rims. Only about 5mm shorter than the std rubber valve but 20 x stronger & now keep my TJM 'Trailhead Tyre Deflators' wholly within the tyre outer edge whilst sand driving. Took me less than 5 mins per tyre to fit in the driveway including deflating to inflating. Tightened down by hand until they spun then inflated tyre to 30PSI then tightened down by hand just snug using only a spinner handle (not a ratchet as you dont want to overtighten these)
Anything that can disable the car Take a pair of the rod ends. If you bend the bar you can still drive if you snap a tie rod end you can't steer the car at all. Also take a crank angle sensor and a cam angle sensor they stop the car dead
WD40 - Water Dispersant, formula #40. Lanox is better for rusty stuff. INOX is a must. Grease gun and grease. Fencing wire, fence pliers and twitching pliers to suit. Oil filter. Studs and nuts. O-rings. Circlips and pliers. Radiator hoses and worm clamps. BIG cable ties: 1m x 12mm x 2mm. A pack of 10 is about $125 but will hold a toyota drive train together :)
Spear accessories belt in IDLER PULLEY common cause for losing your belt. Plus I got a whole box just for electrical plugs fittings crimps relay circuit breakers fuses and things because there's more and more Electronics on cars now
I know right you will be stranded for months not to mention the waiting time for new indicator fluid is extremely long... hahahaha but in all seriousness i love my patrols
Nah mate its way better then even locktite superglue, amazing stuff that can get you out of quite a bad situation. Watch that: ruclips.net/video/jj3h4p5ePh4/видео.html
When you say at the start absolutely no tools only spare parts then you end up having 3 tools in your spare parts box and glues are more like tools thek spare parts as well they're used to fix not replace
That two part glue you used a cheaper way is to buy the cheap super glue, say two bucks for two in a pack, then buy yourself a box of baking soda, say two bucks, four all up. Now mix pour the soda on the super glue, sets hard as a rock, don’t get it on your skin, you’ll rip your skin off before the glue, give it a go mate, put the money you saved from the twenty and grab yourself a couple beers. Cheers.
Rear wheel bearings on a GU are huge and generally regarded as bulletproof... plus even if you had and needed a spare, youd never be able to fit it roadside. The rest of ya list is a must though...
when it blows apart in the middle of but fuck now where LS powered ....spares... pistons and push rods cylinder heads crank.block.. tow another complete nissan behind you on tamdem? for a spare?or to get u home
Thanks Sam, that clarifies it. I was going to say dont run it in normal brake system or the seals in the master cylinder etc will swell and you'll have zero brakes anyways. Thanks for your reply. Keep up the good work!
@@thatsgangsta2450 100% agree mate, but you will need to replace anything that has rubber in it, ie master cylinder, calipers etc. Just wanted to make sure people understand thats its not a normal thing to do. Cheers.
Recomended replacement for brake fluid at a worat case is water Anything else will eat all your seals Brake fluid absorbs water so the only thing to do once you have fixed the leak is to flush the lines by running fliud though then change the fluid again in a month or so and any residue moisture will bw taken out
Those water tight ones are great. Brand new work utes alternator shit itself after a week in the poo. Aftermarket water tight has now been on for 200k in the same conditions.
Fencing wire is a must and set spare belts
With the fencing pliers under the seat or in the door pocket
Always, ALWAYS carry a spare stubbie holder.

You missed some of the main spear parts - Locking hub, uni joints for drive line, a cv, rear berings and wheel studs and nuts also globes for headlights
Globes won't stop a trip and are more likely to break in storage
Hose clamps, fuses, relays, coilpack/s, puncture kits, STARTER MOTOR, steering uni/ driveline uni, circlips
Fuel filter
I always carry some hose clamps, an assortment of fuses, one uni joint and tie wire. Apart from that it's all about the same.
I would recommend hose clamp, all different sizes
And multiple of the same brand so you can join them together
Its a good idea to get the type that have the thread the full length of the clamp, as then you can use a 3" clamp on a 1" hose if need be and cut it off.
Hey Sam, you need a spare locking hub its the only weak link in the patrol drive line. and a spare uni for the drive shaft.
I usually bring, Filters: oil, air and fuel. brake fluid. Coolant. and a spare tyre pump.
I always carry spare standard auto fuses, midi fuses, front cv’s for the buggy, and air filters
Spare belts and coolant, very important! Had to use mine a few times

you actually cant use power steering fluid for brakes it swells the seals and makes your pedal hard and while the seals swell you lose all brakes
FOR YOUR PATROL, A SPARE CAR? :')

Plumbers tape
If you went to a plastic tub, youd save quite a bit of weight.

v8 greg if you’re stranded somewhere, anything is better then nothing
He has a hydro brake booster that runs off the powersteering... so dose brakes but dosent replace the actual braking system fluid.
