    I've had the 4-PW of the graphite mk1's in my bag for about six months (2nd hand buy on Golfbidder and an absolute steal) and find I'm mostly using the 4, which has relegated my hybrid 5, and the gap, which has done for the pitcher and sand irons. They've worked so well for me that one of my playing partners is now on the lookout for a set too. Launchpads are brilliant, give 'em a swing and fall in love.
    And the name sounds cool too

    Just bought mine a week ago. They are the 2021 model. Low cost. I absolutely love these irons. I play almost everyday. Was used to them by the end of my first round. Much easier to hit the ball. It goes further and higher. Wish I'd tried these much earlier!!!!

      I have the Tour Edge EXS 220H irons. Are those the ones you're talking about? If so, I bought them with stiff shafts and whilst they are easy to hit they go way too far, i was hitting the PW about 170 yards, I ended up taking them out of the bag as i was going to need about 6 wedges. Have you tried the Wilson's yet?

    I just invested in a set of these and I'm anxiously awaiting delivery. I'm 72 and had my fling with blade irons years ago and don't expect to improve to a point I'll want to use them again. I played old MacGregor Tourneys, then Ping Zings, some oversized Nikes, and a few others until now, Ping G20s, an older "game improvement" club. I went to a local golf superstore today and hit an LP2 7 iron with a senior, then a regular shaft. The regular won out but they had 0 sets in stock so I ordered online. The 7 was VERY solid at impact and EXTREMELY straight and it seemed that going to these irons is a no-brainer.
    You did a wonderful demo in this video and I'm sold that these will be my irons for the immediate future, maybe until I'm planted for a dirt nap. I just wish I had the physical prowess to hit them the distances you were getting. I just have to remind myself that, the older I get, the better I used to be. Thanks again for a great demo.

      @@GolfmagicPlus Sorry to be so late with this, but the day I received the irons, the trans died in my wife's car and I thought seriously about simply returning them but my wife said to keep them. 2 days later, her mom passed away and it's been a few weeks with houseguests and taking care of her affairs and so I FINALLY got to use them today. I removed my old Ping G20s from the bag and put in the LP2s and just headed out to the course with not having played or even hit a ball for several weeks. Hit the 7 iron on the first hole as my 2nd shot and...it was effortless. Long, straight, just off the green, made par. Second hole, I hit my tee ball OB then hit my 3rd 1 foot from a trap. Had no stance, faced away from the pin and hit the 9 iron between my legs...3 inches from the hole! It was almost magical, these irons were like a dream come true, any bad shots were due to the man, not the club. Couldn't putt for diddly, took 34 putts but managed a 79 on a par 69 course. WHERE HAVE THESE IRONS BEEN ALL MY LIFE? I put any LP2 iron in my hands and it almost feels like it's part of me, organic. These are worth every penny I paid and your endorsement is spot on. And, IMO, these may be the best kept secret for a game improvement iron ever, a real game changer. Thanks for the video, it persuaded me to invest in these and I could not be happier! Best regards.
      (Edit: Let me add that 79 was miraculous as my last 2 rounds at that course were 96 and 102. Totals:9 pars (!) 8 bogeys and 1 double. No disasters. If only I could have putted better...)

    I am definitely in the market for some GI clubs and might try these, but I can't see me putting them in my bag. I am just not a fan of the chrome finish. I can see these looking pretty beat up in just a short time. So I am leaning toward the Cleveland Launch XL or Halo and plan to try the Callaway Rouge ST MAX OS, TaylorMade Stealth and Ping G425 too. So I guess looks does matter a little bit. But I do plan to give them a try. Great review and convincing too.

      Which one did u end up going with? And what were the pros vs cons u found for each of the clubs u tried?

    • @Alan_Edwards
      @Alan_Edwards Год назад +1

      @@RKCHUX Well it's not a simple or short answer really....but since you asked. I did not really want to go in for a fitting, for reasons I won't discuss here, so I decided to just buy some single irons and test them out in practice and on the course. I purchased a Rogue Max OS 9 iron w/regular graphite shaft and a Stealth 8 iron with a senior graphite shaft. The Rogue is a more forgiving club than the Stealth - by far. It has a good size head that really inspires confidence and it just feels good in my hands. It makes a real solid sound when hit well, or even not so well, and produces a nice ball flight. Nothing really negative to say other than the chrome finish can get marred up pretty easily....which is somewhat normal really. The Stealth, while not as forgiving or confidence inspiring, seems to be a little more consistent than the Rogue. It makes more of a clipping sound but produces a powerful penetrating ball flight. Although I did tend to consistently push the ball to the right when using the Stealth...which may be related to the more flexible senior shaft - not sure. It is a nicer looking club though with a finish I prefer over the Rogue....just not as forgiving.
      In the end I prefer the forgiveness and feel of the Rogue and already picked up an AW which I had customized closer to a PW - which I do not carry in my bag. I think part of the reason I prefer the Rogue has something to do with the Mitsubishi Tensei AV Blue 65 shafts I had put on them. The combination of the two just work well with my swing and swing speed. I plan to get more of the Rogues and possibly sell the Stealth on eBay.
      I also picked up a Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 6 hybrid and a Cleveland Launcher XL Halo HY-Wood. The Hy-Wood is a very versatile and easy to hit club for sure and one I highly recommend. I have other hybrids and woods I am considering, but as far as irons go the Callaway Rogue ST MAX OS irons is the most forgiving club I have ever used. I am sure you can get other clubs that perform as well that are less expensive, but if price is not a concern and you do go in for a fitting, I would definitely recommend at least trying the Rogue irons. Hope that helps.
