That is really cool! It's also really great that they have how much resin to use on the mold! All molds should be like that. It would make things so much easier!
Sorry I've been away for a while. My kidneys are failing and I've been in and out of the hospital. So now I need to do some catching up! Thank you for trying the thermal powder. I've been wondering just how well they work. They look like they would be fun conversation starters in any situation! Love them!
How cool is that?! Thank you so much for sharing that with us. I love seeing all the new things you come up with. Thank you Steve! Very cool & very beautiful! ❤ Have a great day!
I like the colors, but what I really like is the mold. The way you put the white background makes it look very much like ceramic tiles, with grout in between. Very nice.
Gotta love that YT algorithym. Out of the blue your channel popped up and I was so enamored with your warmth and cute way about saying things, well you just got another sub!!
I bought thermochromic liquid. It came in a tiny jar. The base was some kind of vinyl or latex, it dried up into a bendy disc and resisted my efforts to liquify it! Powders sound so much better, maybe even cheaper. Thanks Steve!
Love the molds and love the thermo powders so much. My daughters have coaster with their favorite colors and Loved making these. These are gonna be a game changer.
Thank you for trying out all the different resins. I have been wanting to pour a small lampshade for a long time. Because I use only incandescent bulbs I have been looking for heat resistent resin and I think with your videos I will use the Texpert.
I just want to give you a little tip A set of anything that goes on the table is usually 6 the table usually has 6 chairs so you would have 6 placemats so therefore 6 coasters.
I highly recommend silicone stirrer's. Lollipop sticks are old school and not environmental friendly at all plus they aren't as good as silicone stirrer's. And the cost to reusable use outweighs the costs. Love these Steve I actually highly rate this video 🫵💪👊😉🫶
I use a lot of let's resin molds. And sometimes the little wood frame does bow out. How I fixed it was take old paint sticks. Cut them to size for every plank and glued them. Bowing problem solved.
Ooh, I need to get these. I think they'd look pretty awesome on black, too, like the stuff they use in mood rings. The support for the mold is a great idea. I have hexagonal tray with slightly wonky edges, and I might need to craft supports for it. By the way, do you have a go-to deep pour resin?
I love the results you got 😊 I also really like the white. I'm also like black better but the white is gorgeous 😍 you used to have links for CA sales, why don't you have them anymore Steve? Have yourself a great day/evening and thanks for sharing another great video Steve hugs from Québec Canada 🇨🇦 🤗 🫂 😘
Cool molds! Now I don't have to freehand my checker designs...Yay! Thanks for posting! The color-changing pigments are pretty neat too, but I am curious, does it continue to change color even after it is fully cured, 4+ weeks?
Ooooo .... I have some gel nail polish that is color changing with heat. Some acrylic powder too. Oh oh oh I just had a thought. I could make some 3d flowers with the thermo n put them in something
It's worth noting that UV quickly destroys thermochromic pigments, so they and any product made with them should be kept out of direct sunlight. As a kid I had those cars that change colour when you dip them in hot water and I learned this when I left them on a windowsill. Perhaps there is something that could be mixed into the resin to block some of the UV and protect the pigment or the finished product coated in something?
Every time I use UV Resin, it ends up tacky and/or sticky. I use JDiction. I have tried to wipe down my pieces after demolding with alcohol, but that doesn't help. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
I would really love to try resin but I would need resin that is totally odourless as really can't stand the smell makes me feel ill, can anyone recommend a resin that I could use TIA
Thank you for the inspiration Steve!
This is great and exciting for lots of new looks and coasters. You are the best!!! Thank you
Great information!!! Thank you!!!!💕 very cool coasters! …very hot coasters too, I guess! 😁😄
Yeah i just saw these yesterday and they are in my cart for when I'm ready. Thanks Steve!
Brilliant. I love using science in my crafts. I can see these being a hit as gifts and also as products to sell.
Love this Fun Video! Thank you Steve! I love your work!
Your absolute delight with the color changing made my night.
You have so much positive energy! Love it.
Grabbing something like this for my keychains! They're so cool.
That is really cool! It's also really great that they have how much resin to use on the mold! All molds should be like that. It would make things so much easier!
LOVE IT!!
Really like that Mug too!!❤
The baby spoons are so cute! 😂 The holder mold looks like it could double as a nice soap dish mold as well!
I love your enthusiasm! it's so fun to try new things, and have them work!
Love the colors of the holder/base..cool.
Love let’s Resin and those coasters

Hi Steve great video 😍 thanks for sharing ❤ xx
What fun!! Love these pigments! Great video!
I like the colors, but what I really like is the mold. The way you put the white background makes it look very much like ceramic tiles, with grout in between. Very nice.
That was my exact thought. Looks like ceramic tiles...now I want the molds 😂
Love those -- hmmm I may have to try that ! 😊
Those would be neat to use on a tumbler.
Fantastic.

I mix the blue and green to make a beautiful teal color
Love these
Love these and now desperate to try them
😊
Those are so cool!
Resin is not my medium but this is undeniably cool.
Call it a "fairy spoon" ❤
I love Thermochromic powders - Photochromic are fun too :) Nice outcome here Steve. Love them
I've used the tee expert deep pour epoxy and I've gotten gorgeous results with it. I just wish they sold 2 gallon and 3 gallon kits of it.
This was really cool
Thank you for trying out all the different resins. I have been wanting to pour a small lampshade for a long time. Because I use only incandescent bulbs I have been looking for heat resistent resin and I think with your videos I will use the Texpert.
how do you get lets resin orders posted to uk?
I just may order these!!
I just want to give you a little tip A set of anything that goes on the table is usually 6 the table usually has 6 chairs so you would have 6 placemats so therefore 6 coasters.

Those re cool!
Hi Steve, Thank you for sharing a really super cool 😎 video loved it & oh my goodness the changing colour powders were absolutely brilliant 👍❤️✨
Great for mood rings too! Lol
I used your link for uk and usa but thermochromatic powders doesnt come up even when you search.
Ironically I just got these the other day and haven’t used the yet…thanks for posting! Now I’m off to find the molds 💜
I use a lot of let's resin molds. And sometimes the little wood frame does bow out. How I fixed it was take old paint sticks. Cut them to size for every plank and glued them. Bowing problem solved.
Hi. Your UK link for the thermochromic pigment leads to the US site.
I went to check the powder out and it's £45 for a total of 15 grams 😮
Also, it doesn't last long as it's affected by light.
Looks fun though
Ooh, I need to get these. I think they'd look pretty awesome on black, too, like the stuff they use in mood rings. The support for the mold is a great idea. I have hexagonal tray with slightly wonky edges, and I might need to craft supports for it.
By the way, do you have a go-to deep pour resin?
Got my JDiction and expoy resin and my UV resin today
I got these molds a couple of weeks ago, but haven't used them yet.
Looks like you are creating your own tiles.
These molds look like 1 inch squares? It would make great tabletop terrain dungeon tiles :D
Do you do anything with sides of the coasters? I love the thermogenic affect.
Cool molds! Now I don't have to freehand my checker designs...Yay! Thanks for posting! The color-changing pigments are pretty neat too, but I am curious, does it continue to change color even after it is fully cured, 4+ weeks?
❤
how did you get the powder as they don't ship to the UK Please.
What a fun material! Thanks for the great video, yet something else to add to my wishlist - I swear watching other crafters is not good for my wallet!
Ugh, same! And, I watch so, so many! 😅
@@fairyspunfibers9098 Too many goodies!
Ooooo .... I have some gel nail polish that is color changing with heat. Some acrylic powder too. Oh oh oh I just had a thought. I could make some 3d flowers with the thermo n put them in something
Don’t hear many people saying ‘dunarf’ these days. I do though 😀
It's worth noting that UV quickly destroys thermochromic pigments, so they and any product made with them should be kept out of direct sunlight. As a kid I had those cars that change colour when you dip them in hot water and I learned this when I left them on a windowsill.

Is jdiction epoxy resin good for coasters ?
How would I go about making a snow globe out of resin
You could cut those forms on your laser engraver machine.
Hi 😁
The UK link sends me to the USA site. Can't find how to get them in the UK.
Fantastic 😊 just a quick question about curing time as im new to this. You said 4 wks to fully cure? Is that because its a thin mould?
Can I see the other colors in use?
What are the inside dimensions of the box?
Every time I use UV Resin, it ends up tacky and/or sticky. I use JDiction. I have tried to wipe down my pieces after demolding with alcohol, but that doesn't help. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
Would this work for jewellery?
Could be tiles
But let's resin don't ship to the UK!? I neeeeed these powders 😢
Sounds like Arthur
Thanks!
I would really love to try resin but I would need resin that is totally odourless as really can't stand the smell makes me feel ill, can anyone recommend a resin that I could use TIA
