Lastly just want to say it has been a joy to watch your videos, each week i was excited to get the notification of you uploading and each has never been a disappoint.
Even though you won't be doing AC after Mirage, I still will look forward to your videos you post.
    Keep at it my friend!

I can totally understand how people can get into origins but like you mentioned odyssey was just a whole other bag of worms, i'm not sure i mentioned I did give that one a try as well and just couldn't do it, was sick of ranting and raving about how much I dislike this style of game. Although I do hope mirage is good because even with the rpg style Japan could get me to look past it. Hope you enjoy next weeks video along with the mirage review and what's to come after! Got some exciting projects coming up and I think you'll enjoy them. As always I appreciate the support!

Ok, while I agree that Origins was a change i was not expecting nor really excited for at first, I personally love the story of Origins and its relations to the overall AC history.
I can say for me it was definitely a playthrough of it fully one time and never play it again (I don't think i touched since playing the entire game, DLC included since their release).
I did relate with Bayek's story through out as we see how moments he had or wanted to have to with his child, he placed into the rituals of the Hidden Ones. from the leap of faith, to the missing ring finger, to idea of protecting the innocent. Plus if you complete the stargazing side quests, you get more of the emotional attachment he had with his son.
I was interest in the exploration, mainly cause ancient Egypt is a time period i am interesting, so that gave me more excitement to explore, but i did love how they churned into different area for someone like me, Especially finding the Isu Armor (It looks sick).
I wouldn't put this as my favorite AC game, i agree with you on that front. My top 3 personally would be:
    1. AC4 Black Flag
    2. AC Brotherhood
    3. AC3
Now look to my comment for a little more opinions.

Now while I do love this game through the points i just mentioned, I just gotta say, I FUCKING HATE AC ODYSSEY and not to the same extreme but Valhalla as well.
Odyssey took what made this game great for me personally and totally screwed it over, from gameplay, to the RPG aspect, to story (It's horrible). Plus i hate that it gave us the illusions of choice within our gameplay, straight up lied to us.
Now i could rant and make entire essay on why, but i ain't got time or patience to do it again. (Keep in mind i did play through all 3 RPG AC games)
Now Valhalla was an improvement on Odyssey, but not by a lot honestly, the story was decent and I could care enough to see it through, but overall it was just the same things as odyssey, just with a small margin of improvement like i said.
I did like that through exploration we see the beginnings of what Templars and AC Brotherhood will become as we see in AC1, so that was kinda cool to me.
I'm not sure if I'm going to play Mirage or not, I probably will and if it doesn't satisfy me. Like you i probably wont pick another AC title as the next AC RPG is one set in feudal
Japan, and honestly i was hyped for one during the AC 2-4 days, but we got Ghost of Tsushima now, so that has already satisfy me.
    Too little too late Ubisoft.
