I love that you bag on AC3, and I can't see it, but I understand why everyone hates and shits on Conner and his story. I agree with you about 90% of the other's points; I can't explain why I love Conner's story and will always be glad to play AC3 again. I am currently in the process to 100% the game.
For me, I think focusing on the nuance between Assassins and Templars makes an AC game, but with that I want a compelling character who's story is woven within that nuance.
I held my breath for best costume. Good choice!

I've been playing Revelations and Constantinople is a great city. I love how it looks and parkour feels so natural.
If the Assassins weren't in AC4 it would lose something. They do play a part in Edwards story as the catalyst for him to stop being selfish and reckless. He was close to the Assassin world view from the start but more concerned about freedom than peace.
Edward’s story is still for sure one of the best told in the series, honestly can’t remember but I think I gave him best character

Easily AC1. Whenever i went through a menu, i could really FEEL like i was in the animus, it felt like every option i took was enhancing the settings in some way

Am i the only one that just never raged at these side missions? I mean yeah, they get boring and repetitive, but i just managed to boss them all first try. Did it detract a lot?
Specifically the late game archer clears, idk why but I swear the one for Robert was just impossible, might have been a bug but it infuriated me

Was i just one that never cared for most of these characters? They came, they went, and for one of the most forgettable characters (jack rackhams i think) finding his body was optional! And since you hate full syncs...

Ffs! As i said, time and time again, ac3 was the peak of combat! So much so that in this very fight scene, you can see and do these all in ac3! And in ac3 there were actual OTHER enemy types! They all blended and mashed together here, making it less distinct and just not as good.
And the soundtrack... what song in ac3 was BAD then.
