I never did like that those Clones were told to 'stay put' on a ship that was practically doomed. Leaving them behind in essence is like leaving them to the mercy of loose Trandoshans. And having those at the end, when the Prosecutor faces off against a CIS Command Ship, having those extra hands would sure be handy and make keeping the Clones alive a much more important side-task.
I'm beginning to wish this was a stock part of the game. It would make sense given you're supposed to save republic lives and make battles easier for the other clone forces.
Maybe they did behind the curtain. Delta Squad was only using Firingstation 12B. Maybe the rescured troopers are securing the other stations at this moment ^^
@@jrinc6467 Because Acclamator's the class of ship they are on in that mission has a crew count of 700 and carries additionally an upward of 16,000 clone troopers for ship security and planetary invasion's. Given that it's a transport ship who's main purpose is ferrying thousands upon thousands of soldiers to the battlefield it's unlikely they'd be able to capture an acclamator with the amount of soldiers they brought.

Can I just say that I adore this video - honestly such a missed opportunity. Interacting with your clone brethren would of been an amazing feature especially when you're drawn to protect - save - recruit etc. Makes you re-evaluate their ability to kick ass yet on a smaller scale xD.

It's all just gone in the wind now...
For the vanilla game you can actually save the clones you find already in mid fight, I remember reloading saves just to save them, they don't follow you through the next chapter of the level sadly.
Saving the mine victims was my favourite - flashbang and disarm. Their AI takes a while to recover and they seem to be set to instantly die for any damage but the trandoshians target you so usually one can make it out.
One of the gimmicks of action games that I always love is things like this: allies that are usually just red shirts/fodders for the enemy forces that you can actually save if you're quick/good enough at the game to stop the enemies from killing them. I remember back in Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy, I always try to save as many allies as I could in the levels that featured them, like the padawans of Jedi Academy, and I do the same here with any clone trooper I can save here as well. Always feel so good when you managed to save them with your efforts.
I absolutely adore this game but I do wish there were more clone bois to assist you more often especially on this ship. I kinda wish there was a mod to play as Trandoshan Mercenaries, you know, see their side.
Probably. But I think the small fat ones are the slavers and the bigger guys act like bounty hunters, contract killers and generally soldiers for hire. Maybe we could see them fight people other than clones.
It doesn't really count, but it's something: The Multiplayer allowed you to play as either a Commando or a Trandoshan. But, again, that doesn't really count.
I love this mod honestly, and a nice little detail aswell when one of the clones says "look out!" To sev, cos normally when we see it 38 doesn't bother to warn sev which kinda bothers me, awesome work my man
This level was incredible. I did always wish you could save the clones though, maybe create some sort of survivors squad or maybe even a small HQ for survivors, idk. Good job!
The Prosecutor was already a great mission, but if they were to remake the game, I do hope they enhance this arc. Obviously, I'd like more than just the three arcs we did have (Geonosis, Prosecutor, and Kashyyyk), and making Kashyyyk not a rushed feeling hodge-podge of a map of hangers and recycling, but I would also hope they give us the chance to utilize the survivors so they'd stick with you past a loading screen, and maybe they would be of use to you during one of the climactic fights. Wouldn't it be awesome to have survivors help you in the assault on the Trandoshan landing ship, or the defense of the hangers, or the assault on the weapons deck to retake the main battery? You could meet up with survivors, set up a "safe zone" to group them at, and then utilize them during a major assault? Maybe you can also have the choice to instead keep them with you until they die? Just me fantasizing, but I'd love for a remake of the game. One that does justice to the original, but also takes away most of those loading screens. Edit: Actually, those loading screens aren't the worst, since they had filler lore of Delta Squad
I always found it strange how few Clone Troopers there are. The Trandos had like one dropship and a few droid dispensers, yet somehow they are able to take over an entire GAR assault cruiser/carieer with like 16k clones on it?
@@ThehandleSigmawasstolenfromme Forget about the 16k troopers, the 700 would have been complimented with troopers either way - like Marines stationed on naval vessels - so either way there would have been combat teams in the ship alongside the 700 if we aren't even counting the 700 to be dedicated Republic Navy crewmen

So yeah, the Trandos really shouldn't have been able to take the ship unless they somehow managed to vent vast sections before actually assaulting the crew proper

Even in terms of corpses which would make the ship actually feel more populated in a very dark manner
@@dj11o9er I am pretty sure the crewmen don't wear armor unless a combat scenario is presented, but we also don't get much in way of a depiction of life on an Acclamator during the Clone War, so they may very well have a contingent of marines stationed on the ship at all times
I really hated the solo levels in RC. The game touted the squad mechanics and you really felt weak without it, to the detriment of the game when you were forced to be alone. So this is nice.
Man, I love how fitting and carefully done and detailed this modded addition is. Was this cut content that was restored and polished up by you or is there some amazing mod tools out there unknown to me that allowed you to script the addition and then link other dialog pieces in the files into something this great? Either way, great work and I cant wait to see what else you got modding wise... that and hopefully getting to play around with this mod in the future in all its glory.

I hope we can get a remake of this with more support. I’d want the CCs to have their voices still, but the normal clones to be Dee Bradley Baker. Maybe with more support, they could even do an Omega-Squad mission set, or a sequel.
Ever since i was a kid i wished you could take the survivors with you It's hintedat that there were of course still some survivors on the ship at the end of the mission but still, this is a nice little mod
At one point in my playthrough I managed to keep the two clones who die to the proximity mine alive, they didn't do anything, but as the time I felt so accomplished. I tried to recreate the save multiple times and failed.
@@xghostx9715 Xenomorphs have natural weakness to high temperatures and pretty much cook inside under flamethower stream. SW blaster weaponry is overheated gas (plasma) that has so much power that it burns trough several layers of armour. Xenomorphs will greatly suffer from blasters, BUT majority of SW weapons have low firerate outside of handled machineguns, which is crucial against xenomorph swarms (M41A, Smartgun deal with swarms by saturated fire).

This seems to be a relatively simple one. The dialogue barks are patched together (very well) parts that are already seen in-game. Adding the clones is a simple matter of putting them in the level, as clones already exist with functional AI on both the Ghost Ship and Geonosis. After that, it’s a matter of adding a few lines of code to make them follow you until they die. I did a very small test game in GameMaker where enemy NPCs basically just follow your action
It would be the mist awesome if you counld add more clones to the geonosis level with the crushed gunships, there is only 1 interaction and they are scripted to die. Meeting clones near the other gunship with the usable turret would be nice.
Years ago when I was doing the advanced to the core ship mission, somehow 1 of the clones didn't die, I'm not sure how I did it nor can I remember, but it was fun having him alive for a short time, plus, he couldn't die, so yeah pretty cool glitch, been trying to do it ever since haha
I feel like something was missing. If you did save the clones as one comment already suggested,it would be cool to see them help you in another battle where you needed help urgently.

It was on patrol, so it wasn't carrying the 16 thousand troop compliment, but that is still 700 crew they would have to wipe out

On my last play through i didn't even need the mod. The game glitched out and some clones that were supposed to be dead came back to life
Always hated how I'd go out of my way and work extra hard to save the corridor of clones and the turrets, and they'd all just vanish.
