The fact that Independent creators and do this, says that even companies can do this... it was released in 2005, and here I am 16, almost 17 years later STILL waiting for a second... or even then at the very least a remake.
I just started this game yesterday for the first time. I'm almost done with the book series and didn't know if the game would hold up, but it was IMMEDIATELY really fucking good and a lot of fun. Can't believe I never played this as a kid but I'm liking it so much that really I'm just excited to be able to play it for the first time, and now to see this remastered intro is just the cherry on top.
I will never forget this game. I played it when I was a kid and it first came out and I feel if a second one or at least a remake came out my life would be complete. Truly amazing game. Thank you for the video.
I know it can always get better, but honestly, even if we somehow got stuck with UE5 graphics for the next decade I don't think anyone would mind. Terrific work, through and through!

Dude. Countless hours of my childhood were spent playing this game on my OG Xbox. The super battle droids scared me. I had to enable God Mode, always. Y, Y, LEFT TRIGGER, D-UP, X, BLACK, X, Y. That code is permanently engraved in my brain lol.
Everything looks beautiful, but the pre-lighting effects made me realize just how much everything on Kamino is a harsh, clinical white. It feels appropriate.
Literally amazing! I wish this whole game could be remastered aswell as the original battlefront games, would probably resell and make more money than all of EA's star wars games combined

Republic Commando was re-released on ps4 recently.
Or they some studio could make a 2nd one
We did get a remaster. Remaster and remake are two different terms, they are not interchangeable
Remaster = Dark souls for PS4
Remake = Demon Souls
