They also don’t have the iconic glowing T shape visors. Sure they used the DC-17m like 2 or 3 times. But I would rather have had Delta or Omega squad come back for those four episodes. It would have been so much cooler.

A story of lives and honor and courage wasted over one man's power. A line of great warriors stripped of their souls and thrown to the fires of ambition and greed. A tale of tragic heroes and false hope. All covered in just over three minutes of epic music. I, and all those doomed to die, salute you sir.
I'm still pissed that they made Jango Fett non Mandalorian in "new canon". He used to fight the Death Watch and fought Dooku with his Jedi Strike Team, killed 8 of them. Now in "new canon" he's just some guy who stole the armor. The worst change in Star Wars history. Not only for Jango but for his Clones as well, they lose their ties to Mandalore and the instructors in legends. Man in Star Wars you gotta use head canon way too much.
the only good new canon thing they added regarding the clones is the inhibitor chips since it makes alot of sense regarding how human soldiers work and their bonds with their comrades in war so realistically almost all the clones would've disobeyed order 66 if weren't for the chips forcing them to obey the order. Other than that I agree with what you said regarding what they changed with Jango Fett and the Mandalorian instructors teaching certain clone units how to fight.

A few days ago I did not know about the fascinating soundtrack of the Clone commandos, just when I spoke about a friend, who loves Halo, we started talking about Master Chief and I about the Commandos. That same night, the cover of Vode an and the Halo theme on RUclips came out recommended to me, and the truth is I don't know whether to be grateful or worry about how the theme got to my recommendations. then this video came and I wanted to tell my anecdote haha
Imagine being a padawan learner during order 66 watching your master being shot down just like that, by a squad of clone commandos and they turn and face you and start slowly marching towards you blasters up with this epic version of Vode An playing, “Dave Filoni when?”
This is a beautiful composition. With the proper lyrics and the tone being what I'd expect from the song, but with the artwork showing everyone but Sev, it hits very close to home. If there were ever one piece of music to represent an entire game, I would nominate this cover for Republic Commando. I can't say enough good about it.
CLONE COMMANDO MOVIE NEEDS TO HAPPEN idea: to fit new canon, Sev is left behind, Boss and Fixer are KIA, and Scorch is mentally scarred and comedically dead as a result, working with the empire now.

I like to think that Rex, had he had ample time with Delta Squad, could've turned them to his side, and they too would've removed the bio-chips that were in their brains. Delta Squad is famous and infamous for their efficacy in combat, but their need to be adaptable to any environment they were thrown into likely would've caused them to be less likely to just blindly follow orders had they known what danger was coming
@@pandathecrusader5658 there's multiple versions of legends, one version is where they actually disobeyed order 66 and helped some jedi escape. Can't remember what comic/book it was though.

I like how before the music finally came in, we were all just having a pretty wholesome conversation about how Star Wars is and their movies, shows, and games are.
Scorch: “Was it red-red-green or red-green-red?”
Sev: “And he's supposed to be the demolitions expert?”
Seeing scorch in the bad batch was amazing, I was so glad and sad to see him again
It must be so terrifying to hear thousands of Mandalorian warriors shouting "Kote" before an attack.
Clonelius, Clonathan and Clone Wick will go down in our memories as absolute heros.
Noticed Sev isn't in the thumbnail pic.
A moment of silence for our fallen brother. (Best case scenario M.I.A.)
We need to go back and get him

Domino Squad was a great story arch that met a tragic end, the members of that squad, while they may have had hiccups during training, would arguably be one of the most heroic of the squads and definitely deserving of Arc Trooper status with the 501st Legion under the direction of Captain Rex (I know he was promoted to Commander, but you go years and you grow up knowing him as Captain Rex and it sticks)
This is what I’ve been waiting for. Just a masterpiece, the clone commandos don’t get nearly enough recognition.
Well since the Bad Batch are commandos they do now
Ügiustus Keiserus Yeah, they aren’t true commandos in my eyes. They dont even have the two number designation.
They also don’t have the iconic glowing T shape visors. Sure they used the DC-17m like 2 or 3 times. But I would rather have had Delta or Omega squad come back for those four episodes. It would have been so much cooler.
"Oh, one of the Deluxe Models. Come to save us with your 'superior' training?"

I love how Boss, Scorch, Sev, and Fixer were in the 2008 Star Wars the Clone Wars TV series.
When I first seen them, it took me a second to realize who they were. I couldn't get it over it, I thought it was the coolest thing at the time.

Please explain why this man isn’t hired for Star Wars orchestrations. He really needs to be, this track makes me want to blast every clanker I see every time I listen to it. Incredible work! Love all of your Star Wars themes!

Parece que nos hemos reunidos como Hermanos ante tremendo cover
One day, Star Wars movies will feel again like this. (Epic Soundtracks like this one...) Thank you so much Samuel Kim !
One of the most slept on Star Wars games growing up, absolutely loved Star Wars Republic Commando. Delta Squad was so badass💪

Well, it's back to being that way now, watch chapter 14 of the mandalorian.
@@destroy-er3314 probably because they got a bunch of shit about it from angry fans and decided to change it back.
Well, actually george lucas wanted it this way. Although i didn't like kt either it was not disneys doing.
@@Cindomis it's good, Filoni made it canon
*"Delta Squad, lock and load!"*

This is DOPE. Seriously, sent shivers down my spine, truly epic.
This makes me think about the difference in how the clones thought from legends to cannon and how legends is more realistic and scary than cannon
SO EXCITED!!!!
Boss: "Belay that bacta order, commando!"
Scorch: "Sadist..."
Lmao 😂
From Sev, that must mean something.
honestly i'm still mad that disney isn't using republic commando music for the mandalorian, it's literally a bunch of mandalorian war songs ffs

Karen Traviss deserves to write at least one episode of Bad Batch. Give us some closure and mad entertainment.
I like this, seems more like a version clones would sing on the battlefield
Vode An Brothers All.

CLONE COMMANDO MOVIE NEEDS TO HAPPEN
idea: to fit new canon, Sev is left behind, Boss and Fixer are KIA, and Scorch is mentally scarred and comedically dead as a result, working with the empire now.
Great song. Clones had great relationship with Anakin, he respected them and they respected him. SO sad what happened to him and them as well.

Rex: no.
Darth Sidious: DEW IT DELKA- I mean delta.. an-
Delta squadron: okay let’s not do this..
*insert Sidious screaming like a banshee*
To be perfectly clear, I believe Delta Squad would've been able to hold the Jedi temple against the 501st
In legends delta squad did comply with order 66 and became imperial commandos. (funny joke though)
cringe
I like to think that Rex, had he had ample time with Delta Squad, could've turned them to his side, and they too would've removed the bio-chips that were in their brains. Delta Squad is famous and infamous for their efficacy in combat, but their need to be adaptable to any environment they were thrown into likely would've caused them to be less likely to just blindly follow orders had they known what danger was coming
@@pandathecrusader5658 there's multiple versions of legends, one version is where they actually disobeyed order 66 and helped some jedi escape. Can't remember what comic/book it was though.
this is probably my favorite republic commando song you've done so far
