- Take a tour of one of the few remaining "The Disney Store" designs at the Westfield mall in Brandon Florida. If your local Disney store has received the updated design, going through this store will be like a taking a trip through time. This was recorded on Jan. 31, 2015.

I grew up with that kind of store design and watching this just brings back old memories!
I hope all those awesome statues and props don't just get thrown in a dumpster
oh my goodness!! I remember as a child always walking by this store in the mall with my grandparents and I would always have dreams about going in the store until one day we actually did and it looked exactly like I dreamed. literally. I was so excited. I haven't thought about this store in years until now. so many memories.
memories. i used to go to the disney store all the time at my local mall about a decade ago. glad to know a few still exist; ill have to head to brandon soon.
So many memories came flooding back. I miss the old stores!

It's almost exactly like this here in Tucson Az! :)
Slight differences in statues and Mickey is at the piano in the front, but, it's cool to see that some stores are still in the traditional style. I love our store SO MUCH.
I love the old design! We have one on Long Island at the Source Mall.
Here in Colorado, we have 3 Disney stores and they All look different. 1 is classic like this, the other has the big red Mickey shaped opening, and the last one is of the Newest design with the tree projectors.
I miss the old design so much. Besides the toys and Disney stuff my favorite part of going into the Disney Store as a kid in the 90s was the d interior design of it and all the props.
That's it, that's the Disney store I knew and loved. Such good memories.

My local mall’s Disney Store looked just about like that right up until it closed a few years ago. The only difference was some of the inside was switched compared to this video and it had a ToonTown Display with Disney Characters displayed through the storefront window with Mickey hanging on to the minute hand of a clock. Loved the design. 😊
This brings me back. My Disney Store closed back in 2008.
I miss the old design! The current new design is just so bland and boring. not to mention all the stuff they're selling in there is crap.
I live about 5 minutes away from this mall and the Disney Store looks exactly how it did back in the early 90's and I love it.

Wow major flashback for me! This gives me memories. I used to love going there as a kid! I actually miss it! Mine was fully updated and renovated. It too modern and boring now.
Omg I remember when I was in Toronto at the eaton center for the first time and my dad told me to close my eyes and walk into this store I had no idea it was a disney store but it was like this and it was an amazing surprise
Had no idea this was an "old design". I grew up with this design at my local mall & it just closed a few months ago. It never updated. Now I wish I had gone there to appreciate its history more

The old disney store at the Valley View Center in dallas still looks like this! It's not actually the Disney Store anymore, it's an artist's gallery, but the exterior and interior still stand and look the same!

Yep, had one similar to that one growing up, some of those figures though were the fuel to my nightmares.

Our mall here in Savannah,GA store is closed but store front still looks the same, so sad miss the 90s.
I'm from long beach,ca and I life near Lakewood,CA Mall And I remember in the 90s it had that old look but today's its upgraded but I sure like the old look better
My local Disney store just packed up and left a few years ago. No more Disney store at all. : ( The closest one now is an hour and a half away.
Used to have a Disney Store at Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville, Ga locatedright across the Regal Cinema they have there. Used to go there all the timewith my mom, but everything there was just too damn pricy! lol
The one at Countryside Mall in Clearwater still has the old design too.

There used to be one five minuets away from my house just like this on Long Island but it was removed about 2 years ago. Now I never fist that mall unless there is something important there. (Is that the Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue in the back?)

Here In fresno california we have a disney store exactly like that but it's getting remodeled and updated so it's gonna be sad not seeing that design :(

How did this store escape the makeover?! I noticed a live-action "Cinderella" movie logo in the store, so this is recent!

They always play the Hercules songs yet you can't get a single piece of Hercules merchandise at the Disney Store
The Disney Store at Clackamas Town Center mall near Portland, OR is still like this with little scenes from DuckTales, Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, etc. I'll have to take some photos of it next time I'm there.
