Tip for kai!: try a softer voice and softer touch with him. Sometimes cats dont like more louder of hyper voices and also try warming up to him bit by bit! Hope this helped

Cats will normally bond with one specific person the most. That’s the person who they’ll have the most trust with, usually someone who gives them the most attention. They’ll be extremely tolerant towards that person with what they let them do. But they’ll not give that trust to anyone else. So if a cat has chosen you as their bond you should feel honored…

I have a part Bobcat that weighs about 30 lbs and two of his now, adult babies. They all three have their own personalities but, she torments these poor cats. Cats like a calm environment and I never force mine to do anything they don't want to do. Kai is beautiful. Calm down Mama and be more gentle because I know that you love these fur babies.

Part of it is the way you talk to them and how you handle them when moving them around. When they are already distressed or tense, it’s not a good idea to continue to try to coddle them or pull them close as it’ll only make them more convinced to get away from you. Speaking in a softer voice helps too especially when the animal is already worried or distressed

I agree! Although my cat was one of the exceptions; she absolutely loved looking at the world upside down as I walked her around the house 😂 I’d hold her on her back with my arms outstretched and she’d stretch her paws back and crane her head back to look at the upside down world in wonder 😆❤️ it was her happy place. I own three cats and they all love being cradled like babies (I have two cats that are 6 and one that is 9). They love their belly being touched (they roll over for us) and they purr during it as well. I think if you do it with them as kittens, they don’t care when they’re older . I’ve just personally always have had nice cats like this, even growing up. My parents had 6 cats and we all could cradle them at any age. My siblings and I played with the cats everyday so maybe they had good trust in us since they were little kittens. None of our cats have ever hissed either but maybe we just get lucky. Cats really are amazing pets to own

I've heard that Scottish folds have a condition that could make them prone to sensitivity and pain; this is what makes their ears fold. They may need extra gentle treatment such as Kareem gives Kai. Of course Fifi is the greatest with cats and everyone...she'll win Kai too in time!

Give her time, I’m confident that she’ll realize it before too long. She’s sweet, she has good intentions. She just is dealing with so much right now, especially with being pregnant. 😉🥰☺️
She's the one who grooms Kai, I.e. nails, ears etc. So Kai doesn't favor her a much.

Although my cat was one of the exceptions; she absolutely loved looking at the world upside down as I walked her around the house 😂 I’d hold her on her back with my arms outstretched and she’d stretch her paws back and crane her head back to look at the upside down world in wonder 😆❤️ it was her happy place. I miss her now 😢

I own three cats and they all love being cradled like babies (I have two cats that are 6 and one that is 9). They love their belly being touched (they roll over for us) and they purr during it as well. I think if you do it with them as kittens, they don’t care when they’re older . I’ve just personally always have had nice cats like this, even growing up. My parents had 6 cats and we all could cradle them at any age. My siblings and I played with the cats everyday so maybe they had good trust in us since they were little kittens. None of our cats have ever hissed either but maybe we just get lucky. Cats really are amazing pets to own
