My male grey tabby passed away last year. He was the sweetest cat ever and he was very humanlike, as he interacted with everybody with various meows, chirps and other sounds and he seemed to understand what was said to him. I miss him so much. I had him for 18 years...

Chase seems very sweet. All 4 of my kids grew up with my cats sleeping in the cradles with them. Many times, I woke up in the middle of the night to go check on my babies only to find our cats wide awake and on guard watching them in the cradle with them, I'd always go back to sleep knowing all was well. None of them ever put a scratch on the kids, they loved and protected them. They were always loving devoted family members. A couple of times they had to school them on respect when they were a little older, but it was appropriate and inconsequential. Cats are gifts from God. Just ask them.
