That can have very neg effects on physical health - humans and cats or dogs. A drug maybe help plus other options incl natural. Also a second cat. But for me I would not add another animal until they help Chase manage his anxiety. TBF they may not be aware of any of this or they are and are getting him help.

I once had a cat like that, so clingy that when I left him alone for like half a day, he would moan at me like that too. It is the cutest thing. I absolutely loved this video! My best friend, Snow, also a cat, found me way back in 2012, while I was sitting at a Taco Bell in my car, with the drivers door open, and eating a burrito for lunch one summer day. She just appeared, out of nowhere, started meowing and jumped into my car and was hungry. To make a long story short, she obviously came home with me that day and has been my best friend ever since. I had to have emergency brain surgery back in September of 2020, and the day I came home from the hospital, after being there for a week, she never left my side during my whole 3 months of recovery, would follow me everywhere and stayed right by my side, no matter what I had to do, or where I had to go in the house. She was 1yo when she found me, so she's unfortunately pushing 12yo+ now, and has, ironically, developed some neurological issues so I'm always afraid that her time, just as with all of us, is running out and that's really sad. 😢

Try Ragdoll, Siamese or mix of them they are like Chase, my cat is mix of both and has tendencies of a pupoy dog and talks like Chase says No while knowing the meaning of it, enters room with big Mummm, high five’s, takes commands like sit, lay down , get up, come, go etc..
I've never seen a cat that actually enjoys cuddling like that... Most cats I've had are worried about doing that because they think they could get suffocated.
She must have rescued him... Or always leaving... My cats meow like that and follow me but I have to go to work... it's hard but they can feel me when I'm coming home.... ❤
i never thought i would meet a cat like this until i met a cat we had at the rescue i work for. he was known for jumping/climbing on people's backs/necks when they came in his room and wouldn't get down! he and his daughter that he was rescued with have been adopted but now when i see a video of chase, i think of him.

Try Ragdoll, Siamese or mix of them they are like Chase, my cat is mix of both and has tendencies of a pupoy dog and talks like Chase says No while knowing the meaning of it, enters room with big Mummm, high five’s, takes commands like sit, lay down , get up, come, go etc..

i never thought i would meet a cat like this until i met a cat we had at the rescue i work for. he was known for jumping/climbing on people's backs/necks when they came in his room and wouldn't get down! he and his daughter that he was rescued with have been adopted but now when i see a video of chase, i think of him.
