I'm in NH and we also love the mountains, the lakes, and even the ocean (about an hour from where we live). That was quite a drone experience! The drone does offer a good perspective.
Yes, NH definitely has the added bonus of ocean! I need to make a day trip of it next year - haven't been in forever! and the drone has been a total blast!
Love the new drone. In addition to providing that higher perspective, It should make it easier for you to produce vids; you won't have to keep moving and setting up a camera.
Thats absolutely right! It can be very time consuming to run up ahead, set up a camera, run back, and walk that direction again for the actual shot. Plus, if there is anything like fresh snow, the drone won't make footprints! :D
You are so funny! You're going to freeze with wet feet. Can you go home and get in front of a fire and warm up now? But no, you're going to continue flying your drone 😁😁
Oh my gosh you remind me of a younger me in so many ways!! I love your energy, curiosity, risk- taking for fun's sake, endurance, humor... super amusing!! 💜
I think there is only one name for the assistant and that is "Merlin". Drones are magical inventions to be sure but most of all it is a wonderful way to remember special assistant who is watching you above the clouds and assisted you in so many ways in you mustang journey. Merry Christmas, Britta! Thank you for all you do and share with us!
Glad the drone wasn't lost. I look forward to seeing the way you use it. I have a goat named Mt Mansfield. 😅 He was born the year we did places in New England for our naming theme.
Drone fun! I got a DJI Mavic Air 2 several years ago... maybe 4 years ago? I've flown it some, but then - projects, projects, projects - I'm horrible about making time for the fun stuff. Then again, I'm inspired by your excitement with your new drone. It might be time to dig that out, launch, and get some video of the horses! I do recall that it scares the hell out of the chickens. The roosters sound the alarm and everybody sprints for cover. 😆
@@TheProjectEquestrian Is your drone the Neo? I got curious and looked them up. I love the size and the fact that it has prop protection. Plus, with a few years of tech advancements, I bet yours is better at following and obstacle avoidance. You might be a bad influence because I think I want one!
@@jimmyyounger618 Yes, it’s the neo! I was debating between it and the mini 4k (which was on sale sale for Black Friday so only a little bit more than the neo) After doing some research I ultimately deciding on the neo, even without the sale, because it’s intelligent flight modes actually seemed better, and the follow me mode was a huge reason I chose it. I also didn’t want anything too complicated that I would damage, so the prop protectors were desirable (kind of like bumpers for the new bowler😂) The size is also super cool- the thing fits in the bib of my carharts when not in use 😂
I watched a video where the farmer was using the drone to "train" the chickens to watch the sky. Would go up and every now and then swoop the chickens.
@@drekfletch Huh! I just found that video. 👍Interesting and perhaps necessary with some breeds? Mine are a calm breed, (Bielefelders), but born with great instincts about aerial predators. The roosters are big, about 4 times heavier than even a red tail hawk, and when 2 roosters are staring back at a hawk making a low pass to have a look at them, the hawks seem to know they're outmatched and go on their way.
How are Theodore's feet? I remember early in the summer he had really thin soles and you had to stop riding him. All of your horses are beautiful Britta! 🥰🥰🥰
Yes, he seems to be doing better, but it might still be a while (it takes about a year to grow a new hoof). I hope to get him x-rayed again in the spring for the real data.
Oh, I would call that drone "Dragonfly". Vermont is a gorgeous state---I've loved my visits there! All of the Mountains that are a part of the Appalachian Mountains are far, far OLDER than the Rockies or the Cascades. When the continents were still connected, prior to the continents splitting off from one another---what we call the Appalachians were actually the foothills to the Andes Mountains in South America.
I am looking forward to videos of you doing liberty training with the horses. You have natural training talents, please share them with us and the horses Merry Christmas!
This channel is brand new to me. You are such a lovely nice person. I have enjoyed your videos so far, The horses are fun to view. Now with your new little Drone Toy you can show the Vermont country side. I hope the horses get use to the Drone. BTW: What Brand and Model is the Drone?
Aww thank you for saying that! I love this little drone, I’m excited to see what illl be able to do with it as I get more comfortable. It’s the DJI Neo- i can’t believe all that it’s able to do!
Drones, drones everywhere... NJ, MA, and now yours gone rogue over the horses or a brook in VT.😉 All of them are lovely and unique, ofc, but Raven's really something special.🐦⬛ 12:40 Okay, so now I know... All this time, I wondered how YTers got these vids. I thought they must have someone else filming, but I guess it's a DGI drone. Is it sensitive to temps and water/weather resistant? My GP is okay, but it's tricky sometimes.
Gone Rogue😂 Maybe "Rogue" is a good name for it😂. and that could very well be the case! Or perhaps someone running behind with a camera/gimbal! I defintely love the independence of the drone!
Looks like you’re having so much fun with your drone, and your outdoor spigot why don’t you wrap some sort of insulation around it, doing that it shouldn’t freeze, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
haha, I enjoy it when it's easy enough to figure out, but honestly I really don't have any patience for the complexities of it - it's certainly intimidating!

Beautiful horses!❤
You described perfectly what I love about Nee England mountains. You live in an utterly gorgeous place. I love seeing more of your horses.

It truly was a blast😂

I'm pretty easily amused😂 Thank you for your kind words!

I wonder if when you lose control of it if it has to do with satellite. I bet if you check your phone you don't have any bars either. Maybe.
Id call it Buzz lol

I bet it would be scary for the chickens!😂 I seriously love this little thing! I'm trying to stop scheming of all the places I want to take it😂

I know! I'm very glad it wasn't too deep! haha

I think you should call it “bug” and glue some google eyes on it wherever there’s space. 😊

For the drone... WallE (after the cartoon)

Buzz Flightgear 😄
Name it Skeeter 😊😂
Your property is beautiful.
Too funny! 😂
WITH HORSES THE WORK IS NEVER DONE
OMG
Are you the one who is causing the drone issues 😂
Yes. It's me😂😂😂

Nice catch! 😅
Just curious what drone do you use?
This is the DJI Neo :)
Thank you. @@TheProjectEquestrian
After you raise your prices on your water filters, you can get a bigger drone....Oops are you not That Britta!❤😂
You wouldn't believe the number of people who have asked if my parents own the company😂
You need a wheel barrow to take hay in.
I know nothing about drones your wild mustangs don' t look too wild though lol❤
In honor of Merlin, what about naming the drone Archimedes?
Name your drone, Rebel, cause it likes illuding you. Lol
Please tell how much your drone cost.
It was $200- which feels like a good price for all it does! It’s crazy how tech has advanced so much
You sound like you want to get into tech

Freedom Spirit Equestrian has Jimminy
You have Theodore
And
Cleaver Cowgirl has Nigel. 🐴🐎🏇
The name should be PAD. Personal Assistant Drone or PAD.
Chloe?
Oh dear.......
