This is badass!!! Everyone complaining about the heavy breathing though??... I can't be the only one who was glad they left all that in during editing. It presented more realism and intensity while watching this.

@@ProHigherYT it wasn't a drone. look at the exit at 0:29 . there is a third jumper. no drone in the world could keep up with terminal free-flyers. all of the canopy flight caught on 3rd person pov was the same jumper. the logistics to get a drone in position on this kind of jump is impractical. you're dumb and the joke is dumb.

One day I want to do the same. I started but a skydiving license is not easy to get. Problems with money, problems with the jobs, problems with yourself ... Thank you Red Bull Videos like that always build me up.
Don't give up. AFF (or whatever is similar for your region) doesn't cost very much. Some places (e.g. Lodi, CA) in the US can get you jumping on your own for only $1,200.
same!! its my dream to become a professional skydiver but trying to get the funds together and maintaining financial stability is gonna be a hard obstacle to overcome. we'll make it though :)

This clip was so intense to watch, I literally forgot to breath, the sound effects and view just had me stuck in the moment. Which leads me to this question, can I get a tandem jump from this location? Red Bull

Must have been strange exiting at 30k compared to regular jumps
+samcdigweed thanks! It was an amazing ride, obviously special care was made for some conditions, like temperature (special termal suit), oxygen (breath mask) and very fast cross winds (parachute couldn´t be open higher than 20k), besides that it was a normal jump, just a little bit funnier lol

As for their breathing. These guys were on pure O2 for at least an hour before the jump to purge the nitrogen from their bodies. Yes you CAN get the bends from skydiving as well as scuba diving. You jump from high altitudes with your own O2 bottle and shut off the O2 when you reach a safe level to do so. That is the O2 bottles strapped to the front of their waists.

then watch the shorted clip with edited bits.the point of this vid was to see all the raw footage with no cut outs
yoman299mw2 Raw footage or not, this video was still edited together with all the different camera angles, and the audio was recorded with a mic within their masks and added to the video later on. They could have simply muted the breathing so all we hear is the air rushing, and then unmuted when they were speaking. :]
