    I am so excited to learn Welsh with you! I am American but very Welsh. My father spoke only Welsh until he went to high school. My Nanny (gran) was born in Aberystwyth. I have been to the UK twice but I was very young. I remember seeing a white horse in a hill. I look forward to visiting Wales, I want to come see my homeland if that makes sense, and learn all I can. Thank you for your channel!!!

      Thanks for watching. Lovely place Aberystwyth. Have been there many times. Your White Horse was probably the Uffington White Horse in England (Oxfodrshire)

      Well what can I say! I have recently returned from a family holiday up North Wales. I was armed with a long list of places to visit, four of which were from watching some of your great videos. While I didn't manage to get to see all of the places on my list, I did manage to make two of the places you introduced to me me top priority! My son and me climbed up to this video's chapel and then my whole family visited St. Dyfnogs. Both were the highlights of the holiday for me! I had a dip in the healing well, boy that is some cold water! Thank you for introducing me to such amazing places and as always I look forward to seeing more places you will share. Diolch!

    Loved your Exploration. I couldn't help but laugh at the beginning. You are like me, if you see something you don't know about, you have to Investigate. That's what I'm like. Ha! Ha!. I have a good true story I could tell you and it would make a great Movie. Unfortunately I only know what my Father told me and he was a Child when it happened. To turn it into a Movie would require a really good imagination.

      @Jamie Doyle ...you're just going to leave that there? What's the gist of the story! :)

    • @Jamienomore
      @Jamienomore 4 года назад +2

      @Randle Patrick McMurphy My Grandfather and a few of his friends did not believe in Ghosts or Supernatural Things, but, they wanted to find out for themselves if the stories they had heard were true. So, they used to go and look round places they had heard stories about during the day to get a good lay out of the place or deserted Mansion. They would go back to Investigate at night. My Dad, as a Child, used to listen to all their stories when they were talking to each other about them. One of those places concerned walking through a very large wood. After a short time they also smelled Garlic, but could not find what was causing it. About a fifty yards beyond that they were surprised to see the ground between the trees was different. It was impossible but it looked as if the grass had been cut and everything else was tidy. It was only when they examined this area closely, they found a number of the trees had small steps going up to closed doors. It looked like a small village. The doors couldn't be opened so they thought someone had just carved the doors into the trees. Not to far beyond that the middle of the wood had been cleared of trees and there was a big old deserted Mansion in the middle.

    • @randlepatrickmcmurphy834
      @randlepatrickmcmurphy834 4 года назад +1

      @@Jamienomore thanks for sharing the story ... by very strange coincidence I was watching a video made by a friend at the exact time when your notification came through
      ruclips.net/video/hCf51NiTU0w/видео.html
      And he was talking about smelling the Ransom (wild garlic) in his video. I collected some last week in my local woods too (it's fantastic with chicken). Anyway this stuff literally carpets the woodland floor and at smells amazing (this is what your grandad would have smelt for sure) I don't know if he was a "towny" but he may not have known this :) The little doors are sometimes made by crafts people as a kind of "folly" or joke / miniature village and there are also areas (known as glades) where grass grows but only short as it gets no light due to the woodland canopy so looks tidy or mowed.
      And finally I live not far from Gwylfa Hiraethog (one of our local so called "haunted houses") which is close to the Stone Chapel in this video and how I came to be looking at this video :)

    • @WillHuw
      @WillHuw  4 года назад +2

      It would go down well.

    • @Jamienomore
      @Jamienomore 4 года назад +2

      Such a pity I am not good enough to do that. The story continued after they got to the front door of the deserted Mansion and went inside. No one would believe the things that happened then.
