I realize saying “don’t worry about being boring” carries with it the same energy as “don’t be sad :),” but I’ll still throw my hat in the ring and say: don’t worry about being boring; the human experience is wildly fascinating whether that’s a ramble, a moment of silence, a stutter, what have you.
And on top of that, you have a lot more to offer than just being human - but even so, that would be enough.

It makes me really sad to see younger people having so many health issues. I had my first brain damage in utero. So, I was different than anyone else I knew. I won't go into the details, what I will say is I see u, I hear u, u r living, u r loved. And in some ways, living in the right time to be candid about mental health. It was NOT fun in the 70s. Do some virtual therapy, take the meds if they r needed. 💗

I really wish more people experiencing any level of fame would talk candidly about it like this. It almost feels more pretentious not to. Like they’re all in this exclusive club that the rest of us aren’t allowed to know about. Celebs do of course address it from time to time but more in a broad, superficial way that is careful as to not sound too braggy. I’ve always been more interested in what that does to you psychologically. How you come to understand it and what it means. How it affects your interpersonal relationships. Being that you’re so perceptive you gave a lot of really interesting insights. I love how genuine you are while also being highly self-aware. This is my favorite video of yours now and you’re naturally really funny so don’t worry about that! Also hi Drew’s mom :)

I have wondered all this too. I think we we find out so much as time goes on. I'm so grateful now I never was successful because I was never diagnosed autistic but I should have been, I find out age 36, I absolutely would have been abused and or fucked up by any of those industries. Those fame people most don't seem happy and they have access to power and resources that don't help, they make fame people drown further, they project their violent fear of becoming older onto others. May all cruel systems fall apart so healthy world time can come

“Mummy they didn’t have my childhood” Not to fluff your feathers but Drew you are so genuinely funny, you seriously had me snickering the entire 48 minutes. I know it’s hard not to be critical of yourself, and some self criticism can be good, but you are deserving and worthy of the love and attention you receive but you are even more than that and you always have been from the very start. Thanks for the 48 minutes of parasocial relationship fuel, I appreciate you.

Drew I get lonely in my dorm because me and my roommates don’t talk to each other a lot because we’re all different and they do things that make me uncomfortable sometimes. Some nights I’ll make food in the kitchen as quickly as possible so that I don’t have to see them too much and I’ll run into my room with my hot food and sit down at my desk to eat. And I’ll feel far from home when I do this, it feels like I’m in a hospital, so I’ll put on these videos where you talk and it feels like I have someone to sit down and eat with and I’ll have someone to listen to. Thank you for being you.

I'm a 28yo woman in Maine. I started watching youtube when I was 21. I was very lonely and I had no idea who I was. It's very hard when you live in a small town and everyday you're exposed to a narrow life style and a narrow range of personalities. You were one of the people I watched who helped me find myself and one of the only ones who is still helpful for me. I recently started listening to your covers on Spotify. "Horse with no name" and "Everybody's gotta live" are my favorites. The pacing of your communication and your style of comedy still continues to scratch an itch in my brain that nobody I know personally has ever done for me. I'm not a "stan" of anyone, just a regular person who appreciates what you send out into the world. Idk where I would be if I never found your channel.

I really love how you're just "some guy" because it feels like there's someone with a voice on the internet who actually gets it for once. you're so genuine. you're a real person and you FEEL like a real person despite only existing on my screen - unlike literally every other youtuber/tiktoker/etc

not normally one to comment on videos but i just deeeeply feel the need to tell you that this transparency is exactly what this platform and every other platform needs !!! i feel like it takes a while to really develop these opinions and seeing you grow and reflect on yourself and also choose to decide to share your growth with other people is insanely important. and the thing is: this isn't just affecting celebrities and influencers etc -- this is a condition that is trickling down into the lives of normal people. so many people think it's completely normal to interact with others in a way that objectifies themselves and people are no longer as honest as they were....... AAHHHHHH !!! very much love this content so much. you are also veery funny and outgoing man it's refreshing to see . keep doing ur shit !!!!!! fr keep doing it , this is what we need rn.

I watch your second channel videos because I relate a lot to what you're talking about, but on a much smaller scale. I made vines in HS, did the televised morning announcements, was the lead in plays etc, so I was well known and liked. But prior to that, I absolutely hated myself (and still did for almost a decade after!) So all this "fame" really screwed with me, I think. I too grew some ego insecurities, hyperfixate on things, worry deeply about what people think of me, think a lot about how people may put me on a pedestal sometimes and how that feels, and I have ADHD/OCD. There's just so many similarities and it's so refreshing to "spend time with" someone like me. So, thanks!

22 year old special education teacher from ohio here & ive been watching since I was probably like 15 or so? your videos helped me through a really rough time in my life and it was comforting to hear someone talk about stuff I could really relate to when i felt like no one understood. so happy you’re back making videos, feels like listening to an old friend 💛

So refreshing to hear someone speak so candidly, I’m glad you left the part about tipping in because that’s 100% something I would do too and not want to admit to it 😆

I swear we have the same kind of thought process, like you’ll be talking and then will stumble upon something else and I am able to follow it so well. When I listen to you I’ll get distracted and start thinking something else at the exact same spot that you do. I don’t know if that makes ANY sense but just know that I find it very entertaining to hear you think out loud. You’re an icon,

Been watching your videos for like 7-8 years now and looking forward to the future! Have a great weekend dude!

I actually love when you lose your train of thought… like maybe that sounds weird I’m sure it does but I have very bad adhd and so I talk in the same way but it shows your creativity and that your brain can go so many different directions, it’s one of the many reasons why you’re so entertaining and it’s awesome to go through the journey of topics with you haha I personally totally follow your train of thought even to the most distant places and it’s great when you’re able to recollect and bring it back around but in the moments where that’s hard it doesn’t devalue the exciting and entertaining nature of like the journey of that train of thought you know and in terms of like editing I am obsessed with these uncut videos it is so real and so awesome I still have like 20 min left in the video I just had to comment that thank you for sharing with us as always my day was IMMENSELY better with this video in it and I know a lot of other people feel the same

I'm taking care of them all day so I only have time to relax at night. I don't have much time so I chose what to watch carefully. But I always watch your content. I love them.
